Well constructed, but unfortunately for me, not as good a fit as the Cascadia14. I decided to return them.

The shoe performance great on the trails. The only downside is it lacks sufficient cushion. It needs the same cushion as the Hoka brand running shoes!!

Beautiful design, except not enough cushion for running. I used Sketchers for running and they are far better.

The Cascadia I purchased 2 years ago was much sturdier and my feet felt quite secure in them in traversing roads and hills. The current model is less than that. I don't feel as secure in them as I did with the previous model.

After going up a whole size, they were still too small. Disappointed. They look like great shoes!

Every time I take a step, the material creases and hits my toes and hurts. Perhaps more volume / height but only in the toe box area would prevent material from hitting and hurting the toes. For me this made the shoe unwearable, but the rest of the shoe seemed nice.
I'd also recommend:

This shoe is nothing like the Cascadia 13 GTX model I own. After wearing these new shoes I won't bother wearing them again. Problems, both models are the same exact sizing by the labels but the newer Cascadia is much looser in width so they "swim" on my feet. The second problem for hikers or trail runners is the unfavorable location of the extra/last lacing hole. The 13 GTX model had these located perfectly to limit crunching of your toes on downhill slopes. I suggest to anybody relying on sizing continuity with Brooks to beware. Go try them on before you buy. Don't buy online! I'm back in my old shoes. They may look a bit ragged but I'm happy and so are my feet.
