Why can't you make fun color options for your trail shoes like you do for road?!

I contacted the folks at Brooks and asked what trail runner they'd recommend for someone who's daily running shoe for the past year-plus has been the Ghost 12 (in a EE width). I've got all the usual foot problems of a 50-year-old who has been an on-again/off-again runner for 35 years. Cascadia 15, as with Ghost, was a spot-on choice. Comfortable, protective of my time-worn feet, and a great fit. The very first time I wore them I did about 10 easy miles along the Appalachian Trail and fell in love. I really believe that the folks at Brooks just "get" me and my feet. The traction was solid, even on the damp, slippery leaves that covered the trail and I never picked up even a single loose stone. An absolute winner for me.

The right shoe felt larger than the left. When both shoes were tightened equally the right shoe bunched at the front lace area. I looked to see if they were the correct size and width expecting to find the right shoe a wide but both shoes were labeled medium width.

Out of the box the shoes felt very light.
I think they can do without the cross-elastic piece, located about mid-lace range. I ordered a wider shoe and the elastic seems to counter the effect of increased width. On trail the shoes felt very stable. On rocky /bouldery sections the cushioning was noticed and appreciated. I hope the "durability" claim holds true. If these shoes hold up as well as my previous Cascadias,... I won't be disappointed.

Very good fit for me, have problematic feet (bunions), but the medium width fit me well (but would have ask the store to ordern a wider version had I known this was available). The good grip and low drop are important for me. Came

I had the Cascadia 14 and was happy with it. The 15 is ten times better. Wider toe box and just in front of the heel. The new support makeup is great and supports my feet well as I go on. My afternoon trail runs.

I really like these. I run a lot of miles on the road but these are my go to shoes when I hit the trails in the mountains of Colorado. Big improvement over the 2016 model I used to have. Lighter and more comfortable. I tried on all the main competitors and stuck with Brooks. If you're looking for a shoe that is as comfortable as a standard road running training shoe but has the features you need in the mountains, this is it. Very comfortable.

I replaced my hiking shoes with these and backpacked 50 miles. These shoes worked extremely well. I road run in Brooks already, so I'm not surprised but extremely happy with the support of this trail shoe over rocks and roots.

I use these for hiking trails and off-trail pursuit of dragonflies. They have improved my energy level and give a sure-footed feeling.

My husband likes these shoes for hikes. They were very comfortable. However in the Utah desert some trails were really sandy (Escalante) and he got a ton of sand in his shoes from the holes on the top of this shoe.

I wear a 15 and custom orthodics for arch support/bunions. I am 220 lbs and not a soft or graceful walker. These have great support, big enough toe box. I use for gravel/hiking/trail running. Not enough support for rock gardens but A++ everywhere else.

Love everything about this shoe! These were my first pair of Brooks and the comfort is off the charts!! Not a fan of the silver but the black raven looks fantastic!! I'm not a runner, I do hike in them, mostly to maintain mountain bike trails and these feel very secure, stable and handle everything I throw at them. They are equally as comfortable for work and day to day use so I bought a 2nd pair. Huge fan!

I like everything except the unnecessary little graphic over the big toe that looks like a tribute to The Rolling Stones. I'm 77, have spinal stenosis, and manage it by walking three to five brisk miles every day. These shoes are comfortable and hold up to the pavement and wooded trails I cover on those wanderings...

Purchased 11 E wide, good fit, will let me use heavier socks in mountains. Fourth pair of Cascadia since 2014. With Superfeet insole they give excellent support. I also use them on my mtn bike with flat pedals.

Thank you so much for the wides! I wore the ill-fated Cascadia 10s on a long section of the PCT, and loved the aggressive sticky soles. But I had to switch brands, because starting with the 11s they were too narrow. Now that you?ve added the wides, I?m back in Cascadias, and can?t wait to take them on the trail ?

I ordered these shoes after taking the online quiz and I am very pleased with them. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. This is my second pair of Brooks shoes and I will be sticking with this brand.
