I am a firm lover of Ghosts, but occasionally I try other Brooks just out of curiosity. The Hyperion is not comfortable & hurt my feet. I walk 8 miles a day. I have worn Ghost for at least 9 years! ??

I wanted to love this shoe. I really did. I was so excited to finally try something from the Hyperion line. I've worn the Launch for over 10 years and I wasn't thrilled with the last version. I have no specific complaints. They just feel flat. They aren't super responsive. They aren't really comfortable but they aren't uncomfortable. They are light, but that's about all I can say that's really positive. I did order a size up as many reviews suggested. They have a pretty narrow toe box, which seems crazy. This one just didn't meet my expectations.

I lived the fit and feel of these shoes, but they had no grip. Even on concrete I was sliding everywhere if the ground was wet. I was really hoping to make them work but had to send them back.

These shoes might work for someone else, but they didn't work for me. I tried them because someone suggested a more minimal shoe as i sometimes have knee pain. It may be coincidence, but after I went for my first real run , my left ankle and left side of my back hurt. My back is really hurting several days later and I'd be scared to ever run in those shoes again

3 weeks in and the shoes are already wearing out around the uppers. Very disappointed in the deterioration of product quality and durability.

I?ve long been wearing Glycerins women?s. I loved the way the Hyperion looks, price, and was hoping it would have a similar fit and last to the Glycerin. The toe box on Medium width was fine, and I have a wider foot. But the heel width was sloppy, and no amount of lace tightening and even using the highest lace hole helped. Hyperion also has a single layer tongue, which I?ve tried in other shoes. It doesn?t protect the top of arch, it slides side to side and curls a bit on edges so you have to flatten it by hand sometimes before tightening laces. I did love the light weight. And for simple walking, casual wear, the footbed and tread were fine. It was worth a try, as this model is $50 less than Glycerin. Thank you Brooks for your generous return policy. This one just wasn?t for me.

I love how they fit my foot and how light they are. Unfortunately my forefoot was aching by the time I was done running.

I have never ordered the Hyperion tempo before and I am not a fan. I have always loved Brooks and lately I have tried other styles besides Ghost and Adrenaline and I found they have no support and feel cheep. I will stick with what I know for now on.

I'm disappointed with the level of support the shoe is giving when running. I also feel like the material is very thin and afraid it could puncture easily.

Loved that they were light weight, but too narrow in the tow box for my wide foot.

These shoes are much thinner and much flimsier than e.g. the Adrenaline or Glycerine. The fabric looks like it will shred if you run through a patch of grass, and the laces are super thin with a weird stretch. I realize that these are meant to be light weight but that has been achieved at the cost of the materials. I think I would have worn holes through these in five runs (and I run on roads). Back to Zappos they go.

I liked how it fit my foot because I have a narrow foot but it still had good toe room. However, it was not a supportive shoe, you can bend it in half.

Fit very narrow. Wore ok but not for long length of time. Replaced with wider shoe.

The top layer of this shoe is so sheer I can literally see through it. There is very little support obviously on the sides. I expected better from Brooks, I have 4 other pair I really like.

I wanted to try the Hyperion Tempo because I am not in love with my Ghost 14s. They are comfy, but feel slow, especially for the first few miles. I was hoping to find a shoe that would have more energy return but also enough cushion for my late-middle-aged feet and body. These were not the answer! They did feel faster, because they are very light. But the rigid sole felt weird to me, and didn't have much traction. On their first (and only) run, I took a dramatic fall forward on a gentle downsloping sidewalk with a little loose gravel. I ran home, with assorted scrapes and bruises, feeling like these shoes might be a bit much for me--a Ferrari, when really I need a nice reliable sedan, just with a little more punch that the current Ghosts. But the reason I returned them instead of keeping them for short efforts on level, smooth surfaces, is that the forefoot, narrower than in the Ghost, pressed painfully on my bunion. I was feeling that pain (from a run less than four miles long!) for days. I'll keep looking for the magic combo of energy return and cushion. Still a huge fan of Brooks, and thought the icy blue-green and shocking pink-orange color combo on these was super cute, too.

Too small! I?ve worn the last 4 or 5 iterations of the ghost and launch in size 8 but these are too small.

This is my third pair. I changed up the color, but oddly it's caused me a lot of pain on the outter part of my right foot. The last two were great!
