I've been, and still am, a loyal Brooks fan. I wear a size 6 in the Levitate and Ghost, but a 6 in the Tempo was too big. I moved to a 5.5, still too big. I then downsized to a 5.0, too small. I ran a 10k in the 5's before I had to return them and loved the cushion but they unfortunately were painful. I'm truly sad these shoes didn't work out...

I really want to like these shoes but they did hurt my feet the 1st time I run in them...granted I did go on a trail so maybe they're meant more for road running?

I love the way these look and they are fine for shorter/faster runs. My Issue is that they were sold to me as a marathon shoe and they definitely aren't. They're light which is great but they lack cushion and spring. By mile 20, my feet were burning. For at least 6 weeks after my marathon, the top of my foot was hurt. I felt bruised and I blame the shoe on that. I'm sticking with ghosts.

The fit was great, but it didn’t provide enough arch support. The shoes are very light weight and flexible. The Brooks Glycerin 19 provide more stability and arch support for the feet.

After having Glycerins for years, but wanting to go faster, I was lured by the promise of speed with less recovery. I really wanted to love these, but they felt like bouncing on marshmallows. There's very little structure in the shoe other than the sole, so I felt unstable. I like to cross train and couldn't even do a squat in these without wobbling. They're light and airy, but not worth the $150 to me. I tried the Richochet 3 instead, and that fits like a glove without being too bulky.

I bought this shoe looking for something to replace the brooks pureflow that they discontinued. These aren’t it. I have long, NARROW feet and these were a bit too narrow for even me, the outsides of my feet spilled over the edge just slightly. The toe box is also a bit snug, even for me, not roomy like other models. The other thing to be aware of, along with being narrow is this shoe has absolutely no rigidity or support for arches. I don’t need much, but need more than none. This shoe is basically flimsy fabric attached to the sole. Without just a bit of rigidity, I felt like my feet kind of slid around - probably why they make them so narrow. If you have normal or lower arches, you will have a bad time. The construction is fine, the look is fine, it has a lot of cushion in that big foam sole. It’s an ok shoe, but you definitely need a certain kind of foot. I ended up with the brooks ghosts, which although is not exactly like the pure flows, out of what’s left of the brooks lineup, it’s the closest.

I was hoping that the toe box would be more roomy, however it is very snug. I’ve had several pairs of Brooks (Glycerin, Cascara, Ghost etc) and I feel like the fit gets snugger with each “version”.

Love the look & feel of these shoes, however, I got one wear out of them before the foam started to "shed." Disappointing for the price.

Its definitely a light running shoe. I love the transcend. this shoe is not a supportive or have as much cushion as the transcend. It's ok. I don't think I an continue to run in the shoe.

I bought these as recommended via the online quiz to replace my PureConnect. Nothing can replace the Pure Project and although I was excited when I opened the box, they just don't have the same footbed the pure project provided. The toe box seems roomier and my tarsals go numb from the middle of my right foot to the right side after only half a mile. The Hyperion Tempos are super light and I love the thin tongue and the color options, but I'm tempted to send them back after only putting 12 miles on them. The only reason I haven't returned them is I don't know what to replace them with. I'm sure they're great for many others, but they aren't for me as a replacement for the Pure line.

I really wanted to like these. They are very light weight and I ran a little faster with them but they have no cushion. If you want to feel the road these are for you. My heals and shins did not feel good after a run and i was sore the next day. I have returned them.

I bought these shoes in the middle of July, they were pretty good at first but I run 3-6 miles a day and I already need a new pair. They didn't last, the support is already gone,l. I don't really think it's worth the price if you run long distance regularly.

I thought the shoe was great, but too expensive. I have strayed away from Brooks because I have found I like running in lighter, less structured shoes, so when I saw these, I wanted to try. These are pretty similar to other shoes (like Kinvaras from Saucony), but much more expensive. I ended up returning them, but I am excited that Brooks has a shoe like this! Did not like the upper as much as some other brands. It was kinda loose, but would be very breathable. They also look really cool!

Overall a nice fitting shoe, however it did not have enough support for me for longer runs. I am used to running in the Adrenaline, and this did not have the same kind of support as the old Adrenalines.

I was doubtful of this shoe when it arrived because it felt so light. However, it proved to be what I needed in terms of comfort and speeding up my runs. The one yhing i find very disappointing is the tread (which seemed pretty thin out of the box) is quickly wearing down. I use my shoes only for running and only run between 3-5 miles per day. I've had them less than two months and fear I will be needing to buy a new pair much sooner than I would expect to. I guess I was hoping these would last longer given the price.

I?ll begin with the positives- it has a fantastic toe box, reminds me of their older pure grit models, which is fantastic! So the overall fit is phenomenal! Also, true to size :) It also has a lot of ventilation, which is a nice touch! Negatives? It doesn?t have the best arch support for the longer runs, which could be easily remedied with arch -supporting insoles.. but the price is a bit high to not have arch support in my opinion. Not a whole lot of cushion either. Might be a great shoe for those wanting a chill 3 miler with flat feet. Other than that, i?d recommend a different shoe for runs longer than 5 miles on pavement. Still going to be on the lookout for better road shoes- I was pretty disappointed when these didn?t turn out.

I am a firm lover of Ghosts, but occasionally I try other Brooks just out of curiosity. The Hyperion is not comfortable & hurt my feet. I walk 8 miles a day. I have worn Ghost for at least 9 years!
