Not as much cushion as I would have liked but okay. The ghost 12 is more comfortable

TOO ROOMY, ESPECIALLY in the Toe Box. Another person said the same thing in their review, Brooks needs to bring back the GTS20 which is way better and all I can wear

This is my first foray into Brooks after many years of New Balance and Nike. I really love the look and feel of these shoes and they made my inaugural run feel like running on cushions. I felt I could go faster and all my joints were supported. My students, members of the track and cross country teams, were wearing this brand so I thought I would give it a try.

I have ordered this shoe before and sent it back then I received a notice recently that it was available so I ordered it not knowing it was the same shoe. I like the fit but the tapered tongue on this shoe is just ridiculous. I have no idea who designed it nor who went along with it unless it was to save that tiny bit of fabric. I am keeping this pair only for the narrow fit due to desperation to find one narrow enough.

Wish I could find some in narrow.

The sneakers were disappointing - very heavy - won't be wearing them again.

I have been wearing the Adrenaline GTS 15's and these 21's have the same strong, stable sole but a completely different upper. The upper feels so unstructured, roomy and loose that I feel very unstable when running, as if there's nothing there but loose mesh. I am very disappointed that I cannot get the same Adrenaline GTS quality that I loved in the GTS 15's. Returning these to look for something with some structure on top. Hoping I can find something with the same stable, supportive sole.

I liked the shoe because it has a wide toe box. Very comfortable. Would purchase again.

I went through shoe after shoe trying to find the perfect running shoe for my feet. They were all too small or too narrow or too stiff or too cushioned or too flat or too … whatever. Goldilocks is finally happy! ? They’re pretty cute, as well.

I've had previous versions of this style that were great. This iteration was definitely not up to snuff. The entire shoe was visably cheapened. Not enough vertical toe space; stretchy laces of questionable value; cheesy slippery soles; "stick-on" brand labels already coming loose after only a month; uncomfortable ridiculous pointy tongue; front too wide (It's almost like they widened the base but used the same amount of cover fabric as before, thereby squashing the toes). Definitely NOT true to size. I could go on. I am SO SORRY I paid good money for these shoes. Now I have to find another brand. Buyer beware. Agh.

My podiatrist recommended this brand as offering the right heel height for my foot. They are really comfortable. I have only one gripe, and that’s with the business decision not to offer narrow widths. I have narrow feet, and while these shoes are fine, they are a little wide. An 8 or 8 1/2 narrow would have been worth trying. Still, a comfortable shoe with good cushioning and a roomy toe box.

Wow! A 10.5 narrow-what a difficult find! This is a great, great shoe. But as a retired nurse nearing 70, I need major cushioning for my very tired feet. This didn't quite fit the bill for me, but I'm sure it's a fabulous running shoe for those with less tired feet!

I use these for Jazzercise. My inserts fit in no problem. I go up a 1/2 size for the inserts. Lots of lateral support.

Best shoes I have ever owned. I am on my feet 12 hours on concrete for work. After wearing these shoes my feet do not hurt after work.

These shoes are super comfortable. I walk, but sometimes I feel like I want to run in these shoes! I originally started with the GTS 17's, which I loved so much I wore them down to holey soles. I came back and bought the GTS 20's and didn't really like them - I think they're not enough cushion for me and a little narrow at the toes, but I kept waiting for them to break in and get comfortable until it was too late to return them. These shoes on the other hand are exactly what I wanted. More room in the toe, nice and cushioned and no blisters. At first I thought the tongue was going to give me problems because it's short and oddly shaped but it is fine, doesn't poke me at all. Looks wise, they're okay. I love the shiny metallic detail on the logo but the big pink rubber sole part detracts and keeps the shoe from looking any kind of slick. Delivery was super fast.

Love these shoes so much. They have great support and cushion. They have helped me come back from an injury that was caused by another shoe and I?ll never go back!

This shoe was recommended in an article by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons for people with Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction. This is the perfect shoe for someone with this issue and I wish I had this shoe as an option 15 years ago. It may have prevented a total collapse of my tendon and my arch, and subsequent major reconstructive surgery on my right foot in 2012. I have struggle to find shoes to fit and work since that time. I was extrememly torn about returning this shoe. It held my foot in place almost perfetly with no noticeable turning. The problem is that I also need to add my custom orthotic to give the additional lateral support under the reconstructed arch. The support fits inside the footbed of the shoe, but when I put the shoe on the heel cup is too shallow to hold the heel in place. I decieded that rather than risk wearing the shoe without the supports I needed to reluctantly return them. I would strongly reommend this shoe to anyone who needs the support of a shoe, especially is they pronate and have the potential to develop this devastating condition.
