Customer Reviews Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21

I have been wearing the Brooks Adrenaline shoes for almost 20 years. They are a great shoe! I generally wear an 8 in regular dress shoes, but size up to 8.5 wide in these in order to have a little extra room in the toe box. Every year they tweak the fit a little bit, and usually it doesn’t bother me. However this 21 model seems to have a higher, or more rigid, “collar” around the ankle and it is putting uncomfortable pressure on the inside of my ankle on one foot. I am hoping it will soften up and I am experimenting with the lacing on that side. I am thankful for Zappos 30 day running shoe policy so I can try it out for awhile. I’m really hoping to be able to keep them because I really like the colors on this shoe (white with a light aqua and light orange trim), as not all colors are available in wide width. Also because after all this time I don’t want to have to find a new brand/style of running shoes.

I am so grateful that Brooks makes 11.5 N - it is hard to find, and New Balance (who makes a lot of odd sizes) has never worked for me. I have the Brooks Ravenna, but I can't find it again in my size, so I tried the Adrenaline. At first it felt very comfortable and supportive (I have my own insoles), but after a few hours my foot became uncomfortable. I am not sure what the problem is, but this isn't the right style for me. The stabilizing might be too rigid for me. Otherwise, it seemed like a nice and well made shoe. There are very limited colors in my size, so I take what I can get.

Great running shoe. I've worn Brooks for years and they continue to produce a high quality product.

This is my first pair of Brooks tennis shoes and I love them!

A little stiffer than the previous pair of brooks I wore, which were the glycerin 18s. Love the look of these shoes though.
