I supinate (land on outside of shoes) and my ankles roll in. Most running shoes cause me pain at the ankle and the outer edge of my feet. I was told, oh no no no, you don’t want those shoes you need neutral shoes. I tried neutral shoes they hurt my feet. These Brooks have enough stability at the ankle to keep the movement in my ankle in check. No more ankle pain. Also the higher arch support helps me land in the proper place instead of the outside edge of my foot. They took a little getting used to but these are the best shoes and I’ll never buy another style at this point.

You know when running companies try to improve on a great thing and fail? That's this shoe. I returned mine after one run. They're nothing like the 20s - hard, awkward, strangely heavy. They are not what's described.

Orthotist, recommended discontinue the Ghost and buy the Ariel, Adrenaline or Addiction for heel and side support with orthotics. Limited attractive material and sole colors and based on customer comments, I purchased adrenaline GTS 21. I feel the toe box is too narrow when compared to that of the ghost, top of the tongue too narrow with strange shape, the top portion does not cross the top of the foot and extend sufficiently beyond the collar. At this time I will not purchase of the recommended shoes unless changes are made.

I just love these shoes! I walk 3 to 5 miles every morning, so I NEED a shoe that has great support but still offers stability. I have a medium width foot, but I don’t like it when my foot slides or moves inside a walking shoe. These shoes meet all my expectations. The mesh on top means they’re breathable and they’re wide enough across my toes to be super comfy, even after really long walks.
If I were to take off a star, it would be that the arch is t high enough - but I have an exceptionally high arch, so very few shoes meet that requirement.
Overall, I really good fit for my need.

I wanted these shoes to work out so badly. They are good looking! But the collar of the shoe comes up too high on the ankle making it terribly uncomfortable. The sole is thin as well and I really need more cushioning than these Brookes provide. For the money, I just didn't want to invest an additional $$$ for insoles.

I have ran in Brooks Revels for the last few years- best shoes ever! However, I needed to switch due to PF and tendonitis. The Adrenaline's have helped my heel pain immensely. However, as other reviewers have said, they are not the most comfortable shoe. I had to switch to my old shoes a few times (counterproductive for the injury) while breaking these in to relieve some of the rubbing and ankle pain. I have had them for a little over a month and am just now able to run comfortably in them on a daily basis. I think the shoes are worth the money and I'm not unsatisfied but I do hope the future models are easier to wear/break in.

Very disappointed with the shoe and, for the first time in many years as a Zappos customer, the experience with Zappos. First, the shoe: At least a full size too big (too long and too wide), the cushioning was nonexistent (like walking on rocks). Second: the service: The shoes sent to me were used. I understand returning shoes, but to then resell them to a customer in the condition received is unacceptable. There were 2 sticky notes on top of the Brooks box stating “Zappos sellable” and “zap sell.” Whatever does that mean? 0 stars for quality control. I have received a refund from Zappos but still, a disappointing experience.

I've been wearing the Adrenalines for the last several years, but this newest model isn't lasting long at all. I have purchased 3 pairs this year and they have only lasted 3-4 months, average 3 miles a day, before the tread on the bottom is completely gone at the ball of my foot. And the foam on the inside sole of the shoe is wearing quickly and developing holes. Also this version is rubbing the back of my ankle and giving me blisters when the older versions have not. I will pay a higher price for good quality shoes, but now this model is wearing out way too quickly.
