I have been wearing Brooks adrenaline GTS 20 and love everything about them -I thought the GTS 21 would be the same. This shoe is NOT the same. The tongue wasn’t cut to form to the foot and there was extra padding in the heel which changed how the foot hit in the shoe making it a bad fit for me. I may need to try other styles again to find the one that is right for me- and when I do, my hope is the manufacturer doesn’t feel the need to change it.

I put in my own insoles into the shoe so I can't say what arch support is in the original insole. Love the pattern of this pair that I bought. I've bought the shoe before. I got the 11M, my feet run a bit narrow, but these fit me. Wish they would bring back a plain grey, black and white pairs, too.

The toe box was so shallow it pressed down on my big toenails! I got Narrow and while the width was okay, that really shallow design was no good. Decided to go with Asics GT-2000 in Narrow instead.

Love my Brooks.. haven't had this pair very long, got this pair as a gift and now has a hole in the mesh on top of the left shoe. ???. Brooks is all I buy when it comes to tennis shoes.

I have been purchasing the Brooks adrenaline for a couple of years now… why o why did they have to change the shoe?! This is what annoys me with running shoes…the manufacturer thinks that by changing the model with each version it is better than the last which is the furthest thing from what us runners need! We want consistency, comfort, and a stylish running sneaker that will reduce the shock on your joints all the while providing a spring in your step to help keep your pace. That being said, this new version of the adrenaline does none of that! It doesn’t even come close to the cushion of the prior models and felt like I was slapping pavement with each step! If I could return these now that I’ve used them I would. Next purchase of running shoes will be through roadrunner sports at least there I can return even after I’ve used the shoes! Don’t waste your money on these. I’ve lost my faith in Brooks and will try another brand… oh well.

My foot starting hurting after I broke these shoes in. Went back to my transcends which were worn out but still better than these.

I was hoping that this years version would be better than last years. These past 2 years of adrenaline have been terrible. I have worn the brooks adrenaline for at least 10 years. Honestly thinking about moving on to a different brand or at least a diff style. The shoe has become much more narrow, less cushion, less arch. Just in general a bad shoe. Feel like the last 2 years I have wasted close to $300 on subpar shoes.

I have been a loyal customer for the adrenaline line since 2017. Similar to the other reviewers, I agree that this model does not offer as much support. I bought my first pair in March, 2 months postpartum and I noticed that my feet were hurting and the shoe felt like it was breaking down quicker. I thought it was because I gained weight so I bought another pair several months later and the same problem. I actually put on my old 20s and noticed a big difference in level of support. Please bring back older models.

My daughter who is big and tall for an 11 year old needed a supportive shoe for School and PE. Mostly for her ankles which can twist easily. We tried on Brooks at a store for sizing then checked Zappos for her size. I am normally a 9 and because her foot is wider than mine she has to go to 9.5. I tried the shoe on and although it’s was a bit big I immediately said “now mom needs a pair!” She has had zero ankle issues since wearing these shoes. Very supportive yet cushy. Yesterday her shoes were wet from rain so she had to wear another pair of tennies to school and wouldn’t you know it….she fell hitting a volleyball and hurt her knee and twisted her ankle!!!!!! Probably wouldn’t have happened if she had the Brooks on. Great shoe, great color too.

I have had 6 pairs of the adrenaline sneakers, this model is horrible. First the laces do not stay tied which become dangerous when running especially on a treadmill. Secondly I ended up with plantar fasciitis! Hurts so bad! And thirdly, they are getting holes in the fabric already! Don?t know what u did Brooks but my feet are not happy. Changing sneakers!

I wear a size 11 medium width Hoka Bondi running shoe (this shoe isn't available in my size in narrow, which I would prefer), a size 12 in Nike (again, narrow when available), and a size 12 Narrow in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 women's running shoe. The Narrow fit of the Brook's shoecontours to my foot very well. Hoka Bondi in Medium width fits fine. Nike's tend to need to be Narrow but depends on the shoe for me. Hope this comparison helps for others trying to find the correct fit for this shoe. As another reviewer wrote previously, I also wish that they would offer more color selections in the larger sizes than they do - the only option for size 12 Narrow is light"oyster" grey/ light blue.

It’s hard to find shoes in EE for those with flat feet, bunions, and overpronation. Brooks always comes through! I only with they made women’s shoes in the 4E width, like New Balance. I bought these shoes to replace an older pair of the Adrenaline.

I have somewhat narrow feet, and very narrow heels. I usually wear a size 9 regular width in all shoes, but I wear a 10 narrow in these to accommodate my big orthotics. I have been wearing this shoe for at least 10 years, and go through 2-3 pair a year.
I'd also recommend:

I?m relieved to see I?m not the only loyal Adrenaline wearer who had a terrible experience with these! The 20 were my favorite shoe of all time. Whatever changes were made this time around are trash and should be reversed. They made an amazing, supportive and comfortable show, a terrible one. Added one star for a total Of two because of how amazing Brooks customer service was when I emailed them with my issues. They sent a new pair of Bedlam?s for me to try and didn?t want the adrenaline back. Those work well for me for shorter distances, but I miss my adrenaline 20?s. I?m hoping the fact they have not yet released a 22 means they will fix what was ruined.
