I've worn Brooks for the past 18 years and most of those years the Adrenaline model after I was diagnosed with plantar fascitis. I bought the GTS21 to replace my GTS16 pair. I'm a walker and bike rider. I'm on my feet about 40% of the time during the day during daily activities. I've been wearing these shoes for a month now - almost daily. The sole provides a nice cushion between you and the ground. I wish the arch was higher and snug to the back of the arch. As nice as the shoe looks with the white sole, I would prefer it to be dark gray. The white sole is very hard to clean. I find the top material very flexible and comfortable like a sock. I would love to have more than one pair to switch off colors once in a while but the cost prevents that.

Love the color, love the fit. Don?t like the tongue, pokes front of my ankle. Been wearing Brooks exclusively for 15 yrs & this is my 1st review. Sorry it?s to knock only thing I?ve ever not liked about Brooks shoes.

I love the Brooks Adrenaline GTS shoe, but I find it very frustrating that Brooks changes features (not colors) every year. Learning that this sneaker was especially good for active exercisers with plantar fasciitis, I first bought the GTS17, which I loved. I should have bought several pairs that year as I didn’t like the 2018 version. Skipping GTS18, I found the 2019 version to be just fine. Knowing that each year varies, I ordered a 2020 and 2021. I’m keeping the 20 (and will order a second) and sending back the 21. As shown in the photo, the 2021 version has a stabilizer bar near the ankle that is very uncomfortable for Zumba and step aerobics.

The cushioning in this shoe is amazing. I felt like I was walking on clouds! For me, however, I found that there wasn't enough side support to keep my over pronation in correct alignment. If my feet did not have severe over pronation this shoe would be a winner! Don't be afraid to purchase this style based on my issues!

In comparison with my Brooks Ghost 13, these shoes have a smaller toe box and less arch support (even though the arch support rates the same). The soles are more rigid, so if that's your goal, these are superior to the Ghost. Both have a 12mm toe to heel drop, but the Adrenaline GTS 21 is so much firmer, it's hard to feel the similarity. If I had to choose between only two running shoes, I would choose the Ghost 13.
I'd also recommend:

The best pair of shoes I've ever had. I find myself walking further in them there a God sent. I'm gonna buy another pair. Different but another pair.

I have plantar fasciitis and was looking for a comfortable shoe that was also available in wide width. I have had the glycerin series in the past and wanted to get back in Brooks. I went with the Adrenaline?a because there were no wide width available in the glycerin?s. I absolutely love my new shoes. Between the natural cushion and my orthotics, my feet don?t hurt anymore!!!

I am not a runner, I am a nurse. So I guess I do run just in shorter bursts. However I must say if I did run these would be the only shoes I would were. I started having leg cramps a few years ago and spoke to my dr, she recommended a good running shoe. The first name out of her mouth was Brooks. I took her recommendation and ran with it. I?ve never regretted it

Shoes were very comfortable, but fit like clown shoes. The toe box was incredibly spacious, too spacious. It honestly looked as if I was wearing men's shoes that we're two sizes too large. I returned them. Would recommend ordering a size down.

I am a fan of Brooks Running shoes and although this pair is replacing another and there is always a transitional period for comfort and breaking in. I?m finding this particular pair a bit stiffer and less flexible. I?m hoping it will settle in sooner than later so I can enjoy a shoe I?ve always associated with comfort.

I am not a runner. I am a 68 year old woman. I walk 2-3 miles a day and sometimes get heel or knee pain and had hoped these would have more cushioning in the heel.

Super happy with these, just enough support but not too mushy. I’m buying a second pair to wear outside, and a pair to wear inside, just because they support my arches so well on hardwood. One of my favs from Brooks to date! I used to buy the Ariel but it’s such a heavy shoe. This shoe is nice and light, but still very supportive.

So much better than the 20! I loved my Adrenaline 19s, and was disappointed with the 20's narrower fit and harder heel strike. But the 21 is great. Fits well, nice soft roll through the heel.

My favorite Adrenalines yet! Love the vibrant pink color and they are so stable cushiony. They really softly cradle my feet but yet are sturdy. Another win for Brooks (and me)!

These are extremely comfortable, including the first time I put them on. Brooks athletic shoes seem to fit my feet well. These are my third pair. Brooks are my go to brand for this type of shoe. I am not a runner; I jog and walk.

Great shoe as always. Never disappoints - always excited to put some new miles on my Adrenalines when they arrive at home! These felt even more cushioned than the GTS 20. I am generally a size 9 in women?s shoes but I always go up to a 9.5 for running shoes and it?s always served me (and my toenails) well.

Love my adrenaline 21s. It was a perfect fit right from the start. I workout with Jazzercise which has a lot of side to side movement and they keep me balanced.
