I couldn't get past how uncomfortable the tongue cutting into the front of my ankle. I tried to make these work. Another issue, is they have great support but not custom to my foot. When I put my orthotics in, there is too much of an overcorrection.

Love the shoes support comfortable But?? The rating is based on the fact I can not get another pair of these shoes in my size

Size up 1/2 size. They made my knees and calves hurt terribly. Definitely not the same as my Ghost 13’s. Too bad, because they look great!

I think the shoes are very cushioned, however, I had to trim part of the shoe that hit right at my ankle bones. They were higher than the other Brookes shoes I've run in. The pain they caused by rubbing on long runs was unbearable. Otherwise, I think they are a great shoe.

These did not fit me so well so I ended up returning them. They were very high over my instep and that made them uncomfortable. Today I just got a new pair of Brooks Ghost (another, I have some from 2 or 3 years ago) at my local running store, after trying on a couple of other choices. They are perfect for me--I'm mostly a walker these days, occasional jogger.

Design/color was really cute however this particular shoe is clunky and runs a tad bigger. The backs were rubbing on my Achilles? tendons and left calluses and sore spots.

The back was too high and the arch was very prominent. Definitely snugger than the 20's . Not as comfortable out of the box as Adrenaline GTS 20. I sent them back.

Unfortunately, the first day I wore them I kneeled down and the toe of the shoe dented in. I've pushed out the dent but when I walk it folds in again. The fold rubs on my 1st toe and is uncomfortable. It was going to be my main shoe for work but now I am unable to wear them my whole shift. Otherwise the shoe is great.

I have never had to order wide shoes but the regular width is very narrow. Ive been running in brooks adrenaline for many years and this is the first time ive had an issue.

Been my go to shoe for years, but each year gets a bit more cheaply made than the last. Love the fit, but sad how the quality keeps lessening and I?m not a distance runner. Disappointed how often I have to replace. My 4 year old shoe is more quality than my current shoe. Great shoe, just buy it on sale. The quality isn?t what it used to be.

I bought these towards the end of November. The outer edges of the soles are coming off the shoe :(. I love Brooks and specifically use them for running ( so 5 days a week for a 3-10 mile run) and I’m disappointed these are worn down already.

Shoe strings stretchy really do not like! Bottom of toes felt uncomfortable when I ran across work out area. They rubbed bottom of foot/toes. Looks were worse than online pics

I use these with my ortho inserts. They feel wobbly. My foot moves to the side when I put them on. it's hard to describe. The shoe itself feels soft, but walking in them is kind of strange. I probably won't buy these again. I do really like the colors, though.

The black/pearl white pair had a narrower, pointier and shallower toe box than the oyster/alloy/light blue pair.IT felt tight in the toe box. The oyster pair fits pretty well with a rounder and somewhat deeper toe box. I'll keep the oyster/alloy pair.. The black/pearl white pair had different markings on the sole almost like it was not the same model as the oyster /alloy pair.IT also had a fresher wrapping looking like it was a newer version of the same model.
I'd also recommend:

When I put them on, the lip at the back, near the ankle, always folds in and is difficult to smooth out. Very uncomfortable and annoying to have to deal with... I should have returned them. Not the same as past pairs of Brooks I have ordered. They look cute though.

I love this running shoe. It fits my feet perfectly and the colors are lovely. However, what I do not like about Brooks is how quickly they wear out. I run four-five miles every other day on good footing (clean track) and the soles wear thin in three months or less. I have a neat, mid-foot strike and gentle footfall - my running style is NOT hard on footwear. Yet, the sub-sole wears down so much that the surface pattern around the bottom of the shoe disappears within three months and then the shoe is uneven. I don’t think that is acceptable: I have similarly priced Nikes that have lasted a good three times longer. I still like the shoe a lot and enjoy the comfort it gives me while running but the environmental impact of having to throw out FOUR pairs of shoes pair year - for very modest running - is making me look for alternatives.

I've had three pairs of Adrenaline GTS shoes so far - one GTS 17 and two GTS 20's - and now the GTS 21. Not a big fan of the 21. I don't like the change(s) from the GTS 20. The tongue, in my opinion, is the worst part. Whereas the GTS 20 has a nice broad tongue, the top of which spreads out across the entirety of the top of the foot, the tongue of the GTS 21 is very narrow and makes for a lack of cushioning on top of the foot. The first few times I ran with my GTS 21's, I noticed discomfort from the tongue being so small, making the top of my foot and the front of my ankle rub against the sides of the inside of the shoe. Not optimum. The GTS 21 also feels considerably lighter and smaller than the GTS 20. I feel like there should technically be the same amount of support... and yet it doesn't feel quite as supportive. Still a pretty decent shoe, just not optimum for my feet/preferences/needs and not as comfortable and supportive and sturdy as the GTS 20, in my opinion.

I love these shoes. Buy them all the time but I always have problems with the shoe lace holes breaking. I tighten my laces but any more than on my other shoes. I only have problems with this brand. I will continue to buy because of love the support of the shoe but this is very frustrating.
