Fit and size were compatible right out of the box. Already had one pair of Ghosts that were used for indoor exercises and wanted another pair for outdoor workouts. I ordered an additional two pairs for the outdoors with the idea of keeping one and returning the other. I ended up keeping both. I now have three pairs of these shoes. In am content with my choices since it is difficult to find a shoe style that accommodates my narrow heels. In addition, I have tried to reorder the same shoe selection in the past only to find that the shoe has been discontinued or modified to not fit my needs. Not this time! Don't give up the Ghosts!

I have a hard time finding shoes because I have a wide foot. These fit perfectly even though I was not able to get them in a wide. Just went a half size bigger than normal.

The fit is excellent with the arch support just right and the heel comfort perfect. I've had broken bones in my feet in the past which hurt after walking but don't when I walk wearing Brooks shoes. Brooks is also one of the few brand which make athletic shoes in a narrow width I need. The material allows the shoes to breathe, so my feet don't sweat when wearing for hours. I have long feet, so athletic shoes don't look good on me but these are more stylish than most.

I have plantar fasciitis and bone Spurs on my heels. And I deliver mail on an all walking route every day which makes my feet problems worse. These shoes are amazing. I don?t wake up feeling like a steak knife is going through my heel as soon as I step out of bed like I did before. My heel still hurts throughout the day but the pain is a lot duller. I will definitely be buying more brooks shoes.

I?ve worked long shifts for years & tried every shoe out there- until I found Brooks! I can be on my feet for 12+ hrs & my feet still feel fantastic thanks to Brooks! No other shoe can come close to Brooks. This Nurse is a life- long Brooks shoe wearer.

Normally wear a 8 in most brands in medium width. For this pair, bought my regular size 8 except in wide width. the length was perfect. I have slight bunions on my feet and it fits perfectly. Alot of reviews said size up but I didnt and bought a wide.

I love these shoes! After new balance changed there style in a pair of shoes I bought multiple times I was desperate for a new walking/running shoe. My mom told be about these brooks and I’m so glad she did! The fit and neutral fit of these shoes is perfect. Will be rebuying for sure!

I've had both hips replaced and experience supination and leg length discrepancy as a result. I have high arches and have been wearing Brooks Ghost since #8 because of the solid support and cushioning. I walk my dog 3X/day for at least 30-40 minutes each time and replace my Brooks about every 6-9 months to maintain the correct support. Lately I've been buying two pairs at a time to make them last a bit longer.

I took the Ghost 13's out of their box and slipped them on and was in heaven! I have tried so many shoes and needed to return them due to fit but these are perfect. I power walk a minimum of 8 miles/day and these shoes make my walks a joy!

I?m a mid-distance runner with seriously flat feet, currently training for a half-marathon. For the past few years I?ve been wearing stability type running shoes to mitigate the arch issues I have but I?ve still always endured arch pain for most of the duration of my runs. Fed up with it I decided to go back to the basics and (with the help of the Brooks online shoe quiz) ordered the Ghost 13s. Since some other reviews noted a slightly more narrow fit in the mid-shoe length, I got the wider fit to avoid friction with my flat arches. I?ve now been running in these shoes for 3 weeks and it?s absolutely night and day compared to running before. True to Ghost form, running in these shoes feels like running on clouds. They?re incredibly light and comfortable, plenty of room in the toe box, and I?ve had ZERO arch pain yet. I can actually complete my runs without even thinking about my feet. Highly highly recommend, especially to any of my fellow flat-footers.

Best shoe ever. I am 62 years old and not a runner. I walk about 20+ miles per week. I now have three pairs of the Ghost 13 in different colors. Do yourself a favor, and buy these.
