After the first wearing of these, I was nervous I picked the wrong shoe. My feet felt a bit achy on my walk and mentioned to my husband how surprised I was of that since I have had previous iterations of the ghost shoe for triathlon racing and loved them. Long story short I think they just needed more time to be broken in. Just got back from a run and feet feel great. Nice cushion (but not too much) and stylish. Just give them a bit more time to break in :-)

I walk on the road for 5-6 miles 5-6 times a week. Shoes are very comfortable from the start! No break in period, give we cushion and support to help eliminate my back pain. This is my second pair, they feel lighter than my first pair, which helps!

Needed a good pair of shoes after breaking my foot earlier this year. These nearly eliminate my foot pain. They’re not the best looking shoes out there, but they’re fine and the comfort more than makes up for it.

I really wanted another pair of Brooks Ghost shoes, but in my size, they offer very few colors - disappointing. I actually bought another brand to try because I liked the colors available, but alas they didn't feel as good as the Brooks Ghost. So, I decided to keep these shoes and return the others. I hope Brooks realizes that even people with larger feet like fun colors.

As a follow-up review, the annoying and uncomfortable fabric bulge at the junction of the tongue to the shoe compressed to being a non-issue. Getting to that point required about 25 miles on the shoes but they are now very comfortable. Still a Brooks fan.

Feels okay. Not sure if need to put new insert instead of one that came with it. A bit narrow for me and squeezes my toes. I’ll be ordering a wide.

I've worn these shoes for over 2 weeks and developed a blister one of my larger foot's toes. I've determined that they are about 1/2 size too short as acknowledged by many reviews. The medium width seems to be true to size and the support for my high arch supination is noticeably effective. Overall I love this shoe. It is comfortable and looks really good on my feet considering the large size 11 I wear. I am so pleased with the Zappos return policy that allows me a 30-day wear and return policy. I may try the 11 1/2 medium next but I'm trying the Hoka Bondi 7 first as it seems to be even wider and longer than the Brooks Ghost 13 and has the same reputation for high arch support and help with related foot problems.

I wanted to love these because I love the look of them - they are my favorite color combo. However, when shoes don’t hit my arches correctly, my feet tell me right away. These were simply not meant to fit my foot. My toes started tingling, my ankles didn’t feel supported, and my feet grew tired within about 15 minutes of trying them on at home. I am disappointed because multiple sources recommended the Brooks Ghost as one of the best athletic shoes for walking. :-/

The shoes fit well and are comfortable. Sleek styling. Nice support.

I do not like the tongue in the 13. The tongue in the 12 was much better. This one is too long and weird. I like the fit and the feel of the 12 better also. It felt more solid - thus one feels flimsier or something. Not as happy.

I thought that these were tight in the toe box area. I purchased the all blue pair and really liked the color, but too tight to be comfortable. Will be buying a different pair in wide.

Love these. Second pair of ghosts. Sized up as suggested but this time(ghost 13) were too big. I returned them for my usual size (7 1/2) and are perfect. The ghost 12 needed to be sized up by 1/2 size....both were very comfortable BUT with also great support.
