I'm not a runner and was worried that I would not pick the right shoe to start with. After watching a lot of running shoe reviews this seemed like the safest pick. This shoe has been perfect for me so far. Very comfortable and something that I don't even think about when working out. I highly recommend if you are overwhelmed with choices and just need something that works. Plus it looks good and doesn't scream, "This is a running shoe!". :)

I can't really run anymore, my knees can't take it. I do walk frequently and have had a hard time finding shoes that don't give me a sore right big toe! My right foot is slightly longer than the left, and that seems to cause issues for walking. Nike must use differently factories, because one model fits great, than the next pair doesn't. I've even resorted to buying discount shoes to try other models. These are my first Brooks and it helped to have the selection guide. I am currently using them on a Colorado road trip, so have done some hiking in them as well. They are even more comfortable for driving! If you are over 60 and looking for some shoes that your joints will appreciate, these might fill the bill. I just hope future models continue the comfort!

Needed a pair of shoes for walking, never heard of these shoes, purchased one of the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. 5 stars from me.

I have been a Brookes fan for years and remain one. Have the Ghost 11 and love them. Although, recently purchased the Ghost 13 and have been experiencing foot pain from what feels like a cushioned bar just in front of the ball of my foot where my toes rest. Unfortunately, I will have to return them and look for a different style.

Fitment and feel is better than Ghost 12, decent toe box space, good support, excellent ventilation and is very comfortable running or walking. Has a similar narrow tongue to the Ghost 12 (Ghost 11 had wider tongue and was a better overall shoe than the Ghost 12. This is a very nice upgrade and has more of the good points of the Ghost 11, with the tech upgrades from the Ghost 12. Solid shoe, give it a whirl and go for a run!

I had the ghost 11 model since it released and didn?t upgrade to the ghost 12 because my 11s still have lasted this long. I used my ghost 11 all year around. Just recently I decided to upgrade to the ghost 13 model all black. Best color by the way. Really enjoying the new design and feel of the shoe. The shoe feels high quality and looks good in the quality of material used in the build as well. I noticed it has a gripping texture and feel on the sole/bottom of the sneaker. I can really feel a nice bite on the various types of ground cover I walk and run on them. Holds up well on wet surfaces. They are comfortable on my feet after wearing them all day. I?m hoping it last as long as the ghost 11 because I?m really liking these sneakers. I use these as my daily driver/sneaker. They are my go to sneaker when I head out because they are great looking and feel amazing as I?ve said. I highly recommend these sneakers. I tell people about them all the time. I will be buying more than one pair of these later this year. Oh great price as well. Brooks fan for sure. Keep up the good work Brooks! ?

Feels like I?m walking in clouds. I rotate them with a pair of revels, and there is no comparison in cushioning. The revels breathe better, but I can feel the difference of better cushioning of Ghosts after just a few hours on my feet. And the warranty support has kept me in the Brooks world for 5 years. None better out there.

Great shoe and customer service

I have been an Asics Nimbus Runner 4 abouy 20 years, this is the first time I feel I am cheating on Asics but I was pleasantly surprised with the Brooks ghost. I have put in approximately 10 runs on them and I can say I am very satisfied, I will split my running life between Nimbus and ghost for sure.

Very good cushioning, keeps my feet moving forward wrapped in happy blue.

I love that ghost, but in the redesign this show doesn?t feel neutral. I should have returned it when I had the chance.

I know I may be an outlier here but the Ghost 13 just did not work for me. I have run successfully in previous iterations of the Ghost so I was excited to try the 13; especially given the many great reviews. Unfortunately, it just did not work for me. I didn't get that smooth feeling that many describe. I found the Ghost 13 a bit clunky and lifeless. I did runs of 5 easy, 8 at marathon pace and one 6 mile tempo effort and none felt good. Thanks to Brooks for its great customer service though as I was easily able to return them.

Avoid. Totally different shoes than the Ghost 12 (which was perfect). Too stiff now. Think it contributed to my calf strain. And they?re now smaller so order a half size up from whatever you wore with the Ghost 12?s (why do shoe companies do this!??). Not typically a reviewer but you emailed and wanted to know despite my having already contacted Brooks about returning them. I will say that the return process has been smooth so far.

NO consistency in sizing - ordered same size /style as my old pair. Will NOT purchase again.

Pure impact comfort and the bees for my knees. Intensively light in weight. My run improved significantly. My previous Ghosts lasted about 500 miles, so we?ll see how long these can fly!

What a great shoe!! I?ve always wore New Balance but after wearing these Brooks I have switched!!

Love all ghost shoes, I walk, jog and train in them. Great job in creating these.
