I had Ghost 11 first and now I have Glycerin 18 and Ghost 13. I love all the three pairs and I would call the Glycerin and Ghost 11 the most comfortable ones. Ghost 13 has a different fit. It feels it supports the foot more than the other two but is doesn't have as much cushions as Glycerin 18 and G11. I was 330 lbs and gradually lost weight and I am 235 lbs now. I have ACL Surgery on right knee and tore meniscuses on right knee. I realized I can run now that I am lighter and started running with G11 then switched to Glycerin 18 for run and I purchased the G13 now to try. So far very happy with G13 and I use them for walking my dog an hour a day. I will come back to leave an update after few months! Happy running folks.

- Sizing was great. I usually wear a 10.5 and these were dead on, width good, comfort good overall unless running. Heel area an issue.
- Mesh, breath well, light-weight
- Problem: The rear of the shoe on the heel has a high point, which for me, rubbed directly on my achilles heel enough to tear the skin. Because of how high the point is, it doesn't provide relief or space for your achilles tendon and rubs when your leg is forward. This was noticeable on the first run. I was REALLY hoping to like these shoes and if they didn't have this poor design on the heel, I'd have kept them. My Salomon everyday shoe (XA Pro 3D) has a relief cut, and running in them I've never had an issue.
- Returned to Zappos.

By far my favorite running shoe, especially that Brooks produces. In the past they made a larger range of style, especially some funky like the Christmas version or black checkered. I hope they will expand upon their styles in future versions. However the comfort can’t be matched or beat. A great supportive shoe that can hold up to long distances of 50+ miles a week.

I have planters fasciitis... honestly, the best shoes I?ve ever worn with the planters highly highly recommend... extremely comfortable and planters pain went down to a 1 in pain...
