Best fitting most comfortable shoes I own. Not a runner, but I spend a lot of time on my feet and walking. I love the fit, comfort and the style. It's always a challenge finding shoes this comfortable in my size.

This is the best Ghost yet. I have been wearing only Brooks Ghosts for the last 6 years because they are the only running shoes that don't give me shin splints or plantar fasciitis. It seems to me that the Ghost 13 is so much more comfortable than the previous years. I cant wait for my next run.

I use superfeet inserts foe running and they fit with plenty of room

Perfect fit, time and time again. These are (for me) durable, lasting longer than other brands. I have nothing but praise for these shoes!

I’ve been wearing Ghosts since 7/8. While I was not impressed with the 12s, I do think these 13s are back on track. Very light with excellent cushioning.

I have been a Brooks loyalist for running shoes for years, and this one fits perfectly, same size as all my previous pairs. It is true to size. The one thing you will notice when you take the shoes out of the box is the amount of cushion on the bottom. You will also notice it as soon as you put them on and take a step. Even compared to the Ghost 12, which I also have, the cushioning is significantly greater. That extra cushion does end up making the shoes look a little clunkier than others, but when I’m running I’m not really going for style, and they are by no means ugly. Those looking for a more minimalist shoe will probably want to look elsewhere, but these aren’t really designed for the runner trying to simulate barefoot running anyway. They have the comfort and support of a walking shoe, but are lightweight and thus a great option for runners who like a little extra support. I’m not someone who runs marathons or even 10 K s. I usually run about 2-3 miles a few times per week. So I can’t speak to how these perform on super long distances. But they do offer great support on my runs, for both the heel and the ball of my foot. I can also say that they are the best running shoe I’ve ever worn, and I was impressed at how big of a difference (aka improvement) there was between the Ghost 12 and this one. I put these on and immediately went for a 3 mile run, and they felt like I had already broken them in. In other words, they are ready to go right out of the box.

I needed to reorder a half size bigger.

this is my second pair of the ghosts. really like them, as i have plantar fasciitis and these help with the pain.

This is half the shoe of the Ghost 11 which had a nice, wide toe box that provided a natural fit, allowing my toes to splay while providing a plush, stable platform to run on. The Ghost 13 looks nice but lacks cushioning, width, and stability . Sometimes, I wonder if the people who design these shoes actually run themselves.

- Sizing was great. I usually wear a 10.5 and these were dead on, width good, comfort good overall unless running. Heel area an issue. - Mesh, breath well, light-weight - Problem: The rear of the shoe on the heel has a high point, which for me, rubbed directly on my achilles heel enough to tear the skin. Because of how high the point is, it doesn't provide relief or space for your achilles tendon and rubs when your leg is forward. This was noticeable on the first run. I was REALLY hoping to like these shoes and if they didn't have this poor design on the heel, I'd have kept them. My Salomon everyday shoe (XA Pro 3D) has a relief cut, and running in them I've never had an issue. - Returned to Zappos.

This is my thirteenth pair of Ghosts. I started with Ghost 10s. Versions 10, 11, and 12 were great, and I had zero issues. This is my third purchase of version 13. The first two have had the *exact* same wear problem that another reviewer mentions here. The inside of the shoe at the Achilles tendon wears out. The padding starts wearing down, and then it becomes too painful to use them for running anymore as that broken down padding starts wearing away the skin. This happens to both the left and right simultaneously. I've tried using longer socks and also bandaids, and that helps a bit, but once they start wearing out at about the 250-300 mile mark, it's just too painful and bloody to wear them. Other than that, I love how they feel cushioning-wise. I had the same thing start happening to some Asics a few years ago after they did a redesign, and that's when I switched to the Brooks Ghost series. I just moved up a half size this time to see if that makes any difference because I really want these to work.

back of shoe rubbed foot, causing blister.

I have worn Ghosts for the last 10 years and the 13 changed the heel design which caused friction on the upper heel area that formed a blister and continually cut into the blister making the shoes unusable. The heel design was changed slightly higher and pointed in the back creating a pressure point. i do not recommend them for any long time Ghost wearer.

How far Brooks has fallen - such a shame. I've worn these shoes for 5 months and they are completely failing! Coming from buying the new Ghost each model, from 10 forward, the 13 is utter garbage. Other outsole wear, which is normal, I've never had quality issues like this before

Very disappointed. I’ve worn Brooks Ghost shoes since the very first pair was available. I’m not a runner but wear this shoe for support. I never have sore feet after working all day. I needed a new pair so I ordered in my normal size, 10.5 Men’s wide. This shoe was the only color available - ugly but I wanted the comfort so I ordered. What happened to my beloved shoe? This pair was a half size too large and the width was too narrow! I measured my old pair for comparison to confirm the shoe structure had changed?
