Hello, first of all, I would say that this is my 5th. pair of Brooks, also I do love the brand' products. But, at least in Brasil, Ghost 13 has been showing some material or manufacturing or both problem. This actual pair is the third that I have trying. The two before this is used to have a problem on the back, right foot, from outside (heel). Seems as were missing some absorption layer on that region and the foot easily drop laterally to outside on the contact with the road. Pressing each one with the hand is quite ease to feel the difference between left and right shoe. Right one has no resistance at that point. I did a contact with the company customer care about that. Ok, after the third change the new one are not showing the same problem. But I have a new concern. Just using it since few week before Christmas, running 5 to 7 Km 3x a week and the absorption is clearly in bad shape. Putting back my old Ghost 12 which a have had more than 800 Km and the sensation is better than with the new one. So, I think Brooks should do a deep look at manufacturers(In my case Vietnam) and suppliers. I do hope to Brooks keep it seriously and do what they need to do in order to keep the great brand and products. Regards Eduardo

Pretty comfy but almost TOO soft. Love the roominess and fit. But if you are planning on standing a lot of the day u start to feel it in the heels. Great shoe though, just beat out by the Bedlam 3?s

I?m a driver for a major parcel delivery company, and I need something that I can be comfortable in, while still maintaining a healthy stop per hour count( i.e., running my little tail off!) and able to take a beating as well throughout the workday. I totally recommend these shoes for just such a task. Comfortable, great arch support, and built with almost workboot-like toughness. I know this isn?t exactly the intended use, but if it can handle 150+ stops a day, 6 days a week and still keep me running at top speed, then I reckon these are some of the best running shoes on the planet. 5 star, I?m a fan and a loyal customer.

The previous Ghost versions were far superior. This was my 6th pair of ghosts and I was so disappointed. The styles is great and definitely an improvement but the quality and support has fallen off a cliff. The toebox and overall shoe is narrower. The heel squishes down and isn't stable at all. It feels like it bottoms out. The arch support that was so fantastic in previous version in there but wayyy tooo soft so it's virtually useless. The additional foam or whatever they call it may be good for a small lighter person but its wayy to squish to support an average or larger person. I can't understand why Brooks would change the absolute best running shoe on the market. Hopefully they'll go back.

I really liked the Ghost 13, I tried it to compare with the 14 as many have suggested the 13 was better. Honestly I felt the 14 was a better shoe for me. They actually felt very similar, the shoe series seems very consistent. The toe box may have been a tad bit roomier on the 13 but overall the 14 felt more comfortable for me. I?m on my feet 10+ hours a day, I walk 13-20 miles a day. I?m a retail manager and work on concrete floors all day and these shoes had lots of cushion and were definitely supportive enough for concrete floors. I rotate out the Ghost, Adrenaline GTS, and Kayano shoes and I have literally no foot or knee pain anymore. I definitely prefer the Brooks vs the competitor just the others are a tad more supportive for when I need them. It may be absurd to have so many shoes for working, but I carry two pair with me and switch if I need to allowing the others to rest. If you?re in my position and are not a runner, these shoes are very capable for walking and for being on your feet on very hard floors for long periods of times. As a non runner, these shoes are ridiculously lightweight (coming from everyday shoes). I wish there were more reviews that mentioned that, so hopefully I can help someone else with it. Also the rocking forward walking motion really helps for even the use I have. Thanks Brooks for brilliant shoes! They are lifesavers! Shoe size is a 13 2E, the review option only allows me to choose up to 12.5.

I really liked this shoe. A lot! Easily in my Top 3 running sneakers. It was a perfect fit and very comfortable. HOWEVER, my issue is it did not seem to last very long. I only got approximately 275-300 miles from it so that was disappointing. I would purchase this shoe again with the knowledge of its quick wear-out. Another 75-100 miles would have been better.
