They look nice but not as comfortable as my other pair.

Good shoe but the Ghost is way better, these are not as cushion as ghost. But they are ok. I like the laces on the Ghost better also

I have owned and loved numerous pairs of Brooks, but these seem to not have as much cushion and support as my previous Brooks. ?

Bring back the Revel 2 design please. I buy Brooks because I stand on my feet, on concrete floors, 8+ hours a day. I am a huge Brooks fan, in fact we sell them at my job, and I recommend them to every customer looking for a good pair of shoes. The Revel 4's have a nice light weight design, but they do not have that cloud like cushion the Revel 2s had.

I'm returning these shoes. They were very disappointing. I'm used to the Ariel '18s which have a higher arch as well as stabilization. This shoe felt like a cheap knockoff. For the price it's not worth it.

Very comfortable and lightweight shoes. I had bought them in the hopes that they would help with my plantar fasciitis, and unfortunately they don't. Still wearing them for short time frames, but can't for all day wear.

I picked up the cheetah print. I love the look however Brooks really does needs to start offering a wide option. This shoe is low across the top of foot and not much toe room. It has medium support. I like the Adrenalines more. I went a full size up and it was still a little snug.

It is not quite as good asmy previous Brooks runjing shoe. I assumed it would have been made with just as much thickness and softness. Its more like a cheaper adidas made running shoe. I had the levitate. It is what sold me on Brooks. Is there any other shoe built like levitate?

I'm a long distance runner (marathon+) and I love the Revel 3, but the new Revel 4 didn't fit the same way at all unfortunately. The 4s don't feel nice on my feet and don't feel as cushioned, and the upper gaps/wrinkles oddly around the arch so it doesn't feel secure. The 4s also felt narrower and like the upper is thinner/less supportive. I had to return this one and will be stocking up on the 3s.

I thought this shoe was so beautiful when I first saw it, and it still is, but it is not as comfortable as I was hoping it would be. It's arch support is not enough for me. The lightness of the shoe doesn't give me enough stability. I wish it was a tad heavier and sturdier.

The shoe is nice and very comfortable. HOWEVER let's talk about this flimsy looking press on looking Brooks logo on the side. It looks like an iron on that will come of in one wash. I don't understand how you make one step forward in design and make one step back. When or if you decide to buy compare from the Revel 3 logo, sturdy and wash proof.

I have sworn by revel 1-3, but for some reason these are not doing it for me. The toe doesn't bend like 1-3 did, and I'm getting blisters under my toenails and knots in my feet. I run 30 miles a week and still haven't broken them in.

I received a pair of the Revel 4 to test free of charge for my honest opinion. (Thank you Brooks for the opportunity!) These shoes are attractive and perform well. They are generally comfortable, especially under the feet, but I found them lacking in the upper part. The padding around the ankle is less than I have had on other shoes and there is no padding in the tongue. I need a padded tongue. These are adequate shoes but I would not purchase a pair. I will stick with my Levitates.

I have previously always worn Brooks Adrenaline and loved them. I decided to try the Revels this time and it was not a good change. They do not provide enough support for me for running. I did wear them to my sons DC trip and they were fine for walking around DC.

I am not happy with the Revel 4s compared to the Revel 2s. The strings are of lower quality as many other reviewers have stated and they have removed the heel cushion which causes them to rub my heels badly. My Revel 2s needed no breaking in and after walking 10-14 miles for 7 days straight the 4s still don?t feel comfy. Bring back the style of the 2s!!

Not my favorite Brooks. Very stiff sole and little cushioning leads to good feel of the road but ultimately very sore and tired feet after a run.

I have a pair of Revel 2 and I love them. I bought the Revel 4 and they are horrible The laces are cheap and not on par with my previous pair of Revels. The Revel 4 was also too roomy. I am so sad because these were my favorite shoes.

I had to order 1/2 bigger, 8. Within 3 days, my knees hurt. Feet hurt. Insoles won’t fit properly as shoe is too small.

Shoe only lasted 6 months with average wear. Extremely disappointed with the quality, the laces are falling apart and the shoes itself showed wear and tear after 60 days in which the fabric was tearing at the top of the shoe. I liked wearing these for running and walking as they did not hurt my arches but will look for a different shoe or brand following this experience as typically my shoes last a year.

The photo of the shoe didn’t really indicate that the shoes were glitter/sparkle. I wish I was cool enough to pull off glittery shoes but I am not so I had to return them.

I was an avid fan of the Revel 2 and had been using them as my go-to running shoe. Unfortunately I missed out on stocking up and had to level up to the V4 and gotta say, not a fan. I don't find them nearly as comfortable, form fitting, cushiony, supportive and find I have more aches and pains and I've lost some speed. Gonna switch to the Ghost and see if that helps because this turned me off enough to not want to give the Revel 5 a chance.
