Very comfy, a touch below my other ones, ghost I believe, can't go wrong with either one.

Very lightweight running shoe that gives good support and cushioning. Straight out of the box I wore them on a 5 mile run with no blisters or other issues. The laces are like ribbon so they stay in place and don?t loosen as you run. I typically wear a women?s 9 and had no need to size up to give my feet room to swell during long runs. Only issue is the ?women?s? colors are purple, pink and teal while the ?men?s? color ways give a lot more options.

This was my first pair of quality shoes.
I liked that it is light, it doesn't rub my ankles, it has decent arch support. The material of the upper shoe is porus and a little hard to clean and shake dirt and gravel out of.

Great shoes. They did not carry the model of shoes I had anymore and the fit test they have you take to determine what kind of shoe to get works well.

I can't imagine running in these. Honestly, they don't seem built for that. But I've found them to be a great training shoe--stable in the heel, flexible in the toes, and really bouncy front to back. Great for plyometric-type stuff, which seems hard to come by.

Good basic running shoe, which I use for short distances.

Tried these for a little less shoe weight and the 8mm midsole drop versus the 10mm drop I'm used to in the Launch (3, 4, 6 & 7). The Revel feels a little more snug and slightly narrower in the toe box. I wear the same size in both and don't really notice a major difference in the 10mm vs 8mm drop. I'll likely stick with the feel of additional room and breathability in the toes area - especially for longer runs.

Fantastic shoe, I love it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is just to leave room for improvement.

I am ordering my forth pair of Revel right now. I am not a runner. I am a chef on a large property, i walk a few miles a day as well as standing for long periods. These shoes are light and supportive and fit as sized. (i have had to send back other style of brooks that didnt fit true) My only critique is the that way I use them they last 3 or 4 months but the price and fit keeps me coming back.

This is a replacement shoe I spotted and liked the specs . It has been a good training shoe so I bought a 2nd pair. Lightweight with enough cushion to run slow or fast . I hope they stick around for a while .

Good shoe. It can handle aerobic and anaerobic exercises. The only 2 downsides is that it doesn't come in wide sizes, and the toe box is a little snug. I had to go up to a size 10. I'm usually a 9 4E if the length is right.

Overall great shoe with soft feel and good stability for running. I picked one of the exotic color patterns which looked slightly different than the pic but I'm happy with it

I have been a fan of the Revel line for several years now, and have bought at least 5 pairs over that time. I still like them a lot, but the earlier iterations (perhaps the Revel 2?) seemed to have a broader forefoot that more naturally fit my foot. In comparing the older shoe and the new Revel 4 - viewing from the top and looking down - one can see that the older version's forefoot is a bit more rounded on the sides. It feels as if that my have provided a bit more room for my foot to expand/spread outwardly with each foot-strike.

Love these shoes, they are very springy feeling. Fit is snug. I do not miss the material that Brooks used to put around the toes on the upper. My only real gripe is the laces. They feel cheap and I'm not sure they will last very long.

Fits fairly snug compared to a Brooks Ghost. Heel is very squishy/springy, not necessarily a bad feel but took some getting used to. Support for arch is ok, but the outside of the foot feels a little lacking. Overall decent everyday shoes.

This is my 2nd pair of Brooks shoes and I got them for running. These have a much sturdier build than my old shoes but that could be just because my old shoes were, well, old. The base of the shoe feels very solid but it’s somehow comfortable to run in, giving in cushion on impact. The tops of the shoes are an expandable material that’s very comfortable but the whole show feels sturdy, feels like it’s holding my foot steadily in place. That’s the one thing I was worried about when ordering online but it turned out my brand loyalty was rewarded. I didn’t buy them for the style but I suppose i could wear them as an every day shoe after I’ve run in them for a while.

Fit right, feel right, look right so far. Have only a few miles in them so I can't really be a good reviewer until I've had more miles/hours on them. But, good experience so far...check back in 3-6 months and see how they hold up. Can't give 5 stars because asking for reviews only a few days after getting RUNNING shoes is not right. First time with Brooks so i'm really hoping to like them.

This shoe is fun and super comfortable. Already used it on a few runs and I love them. If there was anything at all that I would call a "nit", it's that it's hard to put on the shoe without the tongue folding on the edges and creating some discomfort.
