I've owned both the Bedlam 1 & 2 and wore them both out with hundreds of miles on them. They were the only shoes that worked so well for me - stopped my shin and knee pain completely. But these fit different - more narrow, more firm. They are uncomfortable enough that I even purchased a pair of Brooks Adrenaline on a hunt to get something closer to the original Bedlam's but nope. So disappointed - PLEASE go back to the design of the earlier Bedlam's! They were perfect!

I love the color but this edition is not comfortable at all. The shoe is not as durable as the first version and my run is painful what a disappointment was really wanting to love this shoe but will stick to ravenna's for now.

I love this style of shoe although this new version seems to fit a bit different. I have ordered a nine in the last two versions of these and they were perfect. This version seems to fit a bit more tight and not as comfortable.

Could not get my foot in with the way the tongue is. Wish they came in a wide and I do not have a wide foot.

This shoe was recommended from the quiz on the Brooks website. I've worn Adrenalines before but thought I'd give this a try. It was very narrow in the heel - and I have narrow heels - to a degree that bothered me. I was persistently aware of the heel rails, and my orthotics did not fit in the shoes because of the rigid heel. I really loved the sock collar and the look of the shoes, so I wish they had been a better fit!

I have an average size 8 foot. These shoes came in a generic brown box, no stuffing inside, and appeared to have been worn before. Despite that, I felt I should at least try them on. I could barely squeeze my size 8 foot, into an average width, size 8 Bedlam shoe. So, while I probably would have returned them since I didn't want to pay for a previously worn shoe ( they had visible dirt and stains and no packing in the shoe, in a generic unbranded box), I had to return them anyway due to fit. I'm trying a different style Brooks.

First I love brooks running sneakers. Will never use any other. However, are not nearly as comfortable as the Bedlam 2. They run smaller and much more narrow. Wish I could find the bedlam 2 so I can purchase those again.

Not nearly as comfortable as the Bedlam 2. The toe box is a lot more narrow and the whole feel is more rigid. I have run 32 miles in them and still not very happy. I will continue to wear them due to not being able to find Bedlam 2's.

I was quite disappointed. I have purchased 2 other pairs of Brooks in the past and have been very pleased. However, these fell short in my book to all over performance. I didn't like the lack of Cushing in the sole. It didn't seem to be enough for good support. I also didn't like the netting around the shoe. It appeared to be thin and subject to easily being ripped or torn just in everyday wear.

These Bedlam?s fit way different than last years. Not as comfortable to me due to less toe room and different shaping of the toe. I love my Bedlam 2 shoes and was hoping for the same with these but have been disappointed.

I had both the 1s and the 2s, which I wore out. Now I am sitting here with myv3s on my feet and they are so tight. I am gonna try to see if they have some give while running/ working out.

These are always recommended for me, but I didn't like the way they felt last year. I decided to try them again to see if they had changed, or if my feet had changed. I like how springy and light they are, but they are TIGHT. I tried my usual size (8.5), and they were very tight. I went up half a size and they were still too tight and rubbing during my whole run. I suppose in time they might be able to get broken in and feel good, but my plantar fasciitis makes it awkward enough to run. I need my shoes to be comfy right out of the box. Had to go back to the Ghost.

I was running in Anthems for over a year and those felt like I was running/walking on a cloud. I switched over to the Bedlam 3 expecting the same support but it left my knees aching + blisters on my toes after my run even on a dirt trail route. It depends on what you're looking for in a shoe but I definitely enjoy a shoe with more support than these

This are my daughter's shoes, I choose them because of her flat foot, but she is having arch and shin splints pain. Shoes are very good looking, but not really good for cross country high school training.

I have been running in Brooks shoes for at least 10 years and have purchased mostly the Glycerin model. I have to say that the Bedlam is a huge disappointment!. There is a hole on the side of one shoe after only wearing them for a few months. I received these shoes as a gift from my children and do not want to share with them how disappointed I am with the quality. I do like the fit and they are very comfortable to run in.

I loved the Bedlam 2. The Bedlam 3 has absolutely no padding on the tongue or around the ankle. There is no support or padding when running. To sum it up, it’s a cheap version of the Bedlam 2. Good job Brooks for providing the same price tag with a cheaper made shoe.

This shoe is a slip-on with a tongue only 3 inches long. Hard to get foot in. Materials seem flimsy.

I only buy Brooks athletic shoes because, in my opinion, they are THE BEST for my feet when I walk or run. I thought I would give Bedlam 3s a try. Sadly, however, the Bedlam 3 version I recently purchased, cut into my heels so badly, I developed painful blisters. I returned them after two weeks. I will repurchase a pair of new Brooks, but I'll stick to the Ghost 13 version. They were the most comfortable.

I?ve purchased Brooks Bedlam since they started coming out with the shoe. It is the only shoe that I have found that supports my type of feet. I?m frustrated that with every new release they are changing the shoe to where it no longer comes close to the original Bedlam?s. The new ?sock like feel? design is uncomfortable and very tight on the foot. I ordered the same size as my last 4. These do not compare to the original or even the second Bedlam shoe. I wish Brooks would be more consistent with their running shoes and stop trying to re release shoes that are already perfectly fine. Going to be moving on from Brooks.

If you are a fan of Bedlam 2, one of the best running shoes ever, you will be sadly disappointed in Bedlam 3. I usually never go to the trouble to return things because I can make do, but I went straight to the post office after hobbling back from my second run in these shoes - only a 3 mile run. Much, much narrower than Bedlam 2, and by the end of mile 2, I could feel the asphalt smacking the ball of my foot hard. Bedlam 2 fits great right out of the box, and gave a fantastic slight lift feeling each stride. Bedlam 2 didn't have disconcerting cushiness, I could still feel the ground, but I also didn't feel the road surface so much. The balance was great. Not so for Bedlam 3.
