The Bedlam 3 running shoes are awesome! I have the Bedlam 1 and the 3 are so much better!! Having a narrow foot, these are perfect! They hug the foot around the mid-section and arch but also have a wider toe-box, making it the perfect combination of stability and comfort!! The cushioning in the heel is amazing...there is less as it tapers to the toe. With that in mind, not sure these would work for 10+ miles road running, but 5K and 10k distances would be perfect!! As a distance runner, these would be ideal with a little more cushion under the front of the foot and toe box...but these shoes are perfect for what they are intended for...speed without compromising stability and comfort! So many positives!!! Light weight, great ventilation for summer heat, really cute in the gray/black color...not like other dark sneakers that can look like combat boots, the tongue stays put (huge plus!) and the back of the ankle height is just right, does not dig in. These running shoes are wonderful!! Can't wait to run in them again tomorrow!!!

I received the Bedlam 3 shoe free for my honest opinion. They are a really nice looking shoe and received all kinds of compliments on them! I love the design and the shoe has great arch support. I just took them out for my first run in them I?ve been a faithful adrenaline gts wearer in the past. They have great support just not as much cushion making them seem lighter. I?m looking forward to wearing them again!

these ran very small to size. I couldn't speak to any of the other features because they were too tight all around- top sides and back.

I’m not sure exactly why these seemed so small. They look sleeker than most of my other brooks which is what drew me to them. But trying to put my foot in them was something else. WAY too small, I’m not even sure if I went up a whole size if that would be enough. Returned

I ordered my normal size 10. I have a narrow foot but usually order medium or standard width. I found the toe box to be narrow and after wearing them for a few hours, the tops of my foot hurt. they were too big in the heal.

I loved the prior Bedlam version; fit fine and no problems. I measured this Bedlam 3 against the Bedlam 2 and it is narrower in the tongue, mid foot area. Just feels way too tight and difficult to get my custom orthotics in and out. I had to return them. Disappointed b/c I exclusively wore the prior Bedlam happily.

I like the bedlam 2 better. This seems a bit tighter and more firm in toe box and lip.

I always wear a 9.5 in brooks shoes. I am usually a 9 with narrow feet. I had the bedlam 2s previously and loved them. Orders this in my usual 9.5 and while the length is fine, the width is very narrow esp in the toe box. Exchanging for a 10 in hopes that it won’t be so tight because I love the lightness of the shoe

I tried an "energetic" shoe in case it could help me look any less clumsy while running. These are really cute and they felt great while I walked, but not as supportive as I like when I started running. My feet are insanely sensitive thanks to plantar fasciitis, so I sent these back in order to stick to my usual cushion!

I've been trying to find a pair of Brooks to transition into after wearing knit sock-like minimals for a while. These were soft on the upper, but the sole was stiff and didn't flex the way I hoped they would.

I've worn Brooks Bedlam for years. Always a size 9. The 3 are small on my foot.... my toes hit the end of the shoe, which has never happened in a Brooks. My normal shoe size is an 8 but I've always gone up 1 full size in Brooks. Also, the I sole seems to go way high on the Inside of the heel, rubbing blisters unless I wear my blister blocker socks. I am not a fan of the tongue being sewn down so close to the top of the shoe - hard to get on. I am so disappointed but the shoes look great!

I love the Bedlam line, and this is a quality shoe that offers the support I've come to expect from Brooks. Also, look at it--it's gorgeous! Unfortunately, I had to return my pair because they're too tight; this seems to be due to a change in the tongue design. The original Bedlam had a tongue that was loose on both sides, which allowed for more custom lacing / fitting to the foot. The Bedlam 3's tongue is almost entirely attached to the shoe, so no matter how I lace it, the shoe is too tight on the middle of my foot. My foot isn't even that wide. I guess the 3 just isn't meant for me, only people with feet that are extremely narrow.

Did not even do one run in these shoes. I'd really been looking forward to them, based on the reviews. But to my horror, the tongue is "stitched down" at least halfway up the foot. This is supposed to give a "slipper" feel to the shoe, I guess. But I have wide forefeet and arthritic hands, and I could not, could not, could NOT get the shoes on. I simply was not physically able to tug them onto my feet. EQUALLY, I have bunions and I count on being able to do creative lacing to ease up pressure nearer the toes. That option isn't available because of the stitched-down tongue. So disappoiinted.

These seem to run very small - breaking these in has been way more work than my previous Brooks...really hoping that they just need to be broken in, but they are NOT feeling great on my feet.

This was my first time trying the Bedlam model. I bought these hoping to have a dedicated pair of indoor only sneakers for my new treadmill. I wore them around the house a bit while waiting a couple weeks for my tread to arrive and they seemed comfortable. But when I tested them on the Tread, both walking and running, it was clear I needed more cushion. These rubbed a bit on the high heel sock area and created some hot spots on the soles of my feet. I also got a pain in one knee during a jog. I tested them on two different days but sadly these are being added to my growing list of send-backs. As always, I appreciate Brooks' generous try & return policy.

I recently got back into running and have tried so many shoes in the last 6 months. From Brooks, I've tried the adrenaline 20, the revel 4, the launch 6 and revenna 11 and while I didn't love any of them all of them fit great right out of the box. I found the Bedlam 2's and the fit and stability work great, they are my current favorite, but mine have about 300 miles on them so I opted to buy these to replace them. They arrived yesterday and I took them for a run this morning, I could feel the blisters forming after only 1 mile. At 4 miles I had to cut my run short, I stopped and adjusted the laces twice during my run (after loosening them when I first put them on) and they're still sooooo tight. The "20% lighter" description to me is 20% smaller. I am a street 7, and usually get a 7.5 in my running shoes. All my previous Brooks have been 7.5 and I think I would need to size up to an 8 to keep these which probably negates the 20% lighter... Having sent back 6 pairs of shoes in as many months, I am not sure what to do. The bedlam 2's are sold out in my size. Super disappointed these don't fit and I don't know if they'll stretch after a few runs if I keep wearing them. To me these fit smaller and more narrow like Saucony, which is why I don't like that brand and have stuck with Brooks.

Retired my Adrenaline 19s and decided to give Bedlam a try since it also offered 'support' but the primary driver was aesthetics. Would have gone for the Adrenaline 20 if the color options had been better. Please make the men's black tropical print available in women's sizes. Women were robbed. I digress. As for the Bedlam, I was worried that the knit upper wouldn't feel secure enough for running but was pleasantly surprised especially in the heel. The knit material itself is super comfortable. No slipping or sliding and the material feels much sturdier than one would think just from looking at it. One trade off of the reinforced heel is it can make it a little bit difficult to get the shoe on and off but just a very minor annoyance. My main issue is the toe box. It's narrower compared to Adrenaline and doesn't allow my toes to spread as much as I would like. Not to the point where it causes pain but my foot generally feels more constrained than I would like. I think maybe in an effort to make sure the knit would provide a secure fit it sacrificed allowing the material to have more give? Also noticed my feet feel noticeably more sweaty since switching to Bedlam. I don't know if that's an ironic lack of breathability for a porous knit upper or just a personal problem. Overall it's perfectly alright. Not wowed but not bothered enough to return. Ideally I would rather use these as an everyday casual shoe because of the narrower fit.

I had such high expectations for these shoes after owning an older pair of Bedlams. The toe box on these are so much smaller that it?s bordering being too small, the top of the shoe is too tight and since the tongue is sewed into the rest of the shoe, loosening the laces does nothing for the shoe being too tight. The base of the shoe is more narrow as well which decreased stability for me. For as much as these shoes cost and as much as I love my old pair of bedlams, I am so disappointed.

Much tighter fit overall than any other Brooks shoes I've worn previously, including the Ravenna 7s and the Adrenaline GTS 17s. I usually wear a size 10 in Brooks, which was the same for these shoes, but the fit is really snug. I ran after it rained and there's no grip on the road felt like I could slip at any moment so I had to be really, really careful (side note: I'd spray a waterproof solution on these before wearing them because they get soaked easily with their very thin material). This was upsetting because they're advertised as road-running shoes. The ankle GuideRails take time to break in and were not comfortable at all until my fourth or fifth wear. Even then, the ankle supports don't really help with my overpronation, which is why I bought these shoes in the first place since I had prior success with Brooks' support shoes. The thin material continues right on the inner ankle, which is exactly where previous models of Brooks' overpronation shoes had a thick material for targeted support. The cushion does feel pretty comfortable when my foot lands, but that's about the only positive. I'm not crazy about these at all, even though they are much better looking than all previous models and are definitely the lightest Brooks I've worn. Unfortunately I bought these at a DSW so I can't return them, but I might opt for a different brand in the future, as it seems Brooks changed a LOT with its newest shoe models.

I did find these to be more narrow than other B width shoes as noted by other purchasers, and they seemed longer in length. The sole was too stiff for my liking. The pair that was sent to me also had some obvious poor craftsmanship around the heel with a sloppy glue job. I returned these and went with the Adrenalines.

Way too small. I was disappointed as the sneakers themselves were very comfortable and I was excited to run in them, however, the sizing is very off. If you order, get at least 1/2 to 1 size up.
