After 3 returns I have finally found the size that fits with this specific levitate... the new 4’s are 1.5 sizes too small. I usually wear a 7 and had to order the 8.5 size. Once I found the correct size the shoe is as expected from the levitate 3.

These fit like not other sneaker I've tried. They are like putting on a water shoe and seem to form fit around your feet. I really liked them at first, BUT I developed heel pain soon after I started wearing them. The back of the shoe is very stiff and I think the heel bed compressed too much. Real shame - I liked them otherwise. But I can always rely on Zappos to make things right and was able to exchange them.

I like the looks of these shows and they’re super lightweight which I also loved. However, they’re definitely training only for me-no running, no walking because there’s not a lot of support. I’m keeping them for training classes-lifting, etc. But definitely staying with other styles for cardio workouts. FYI, the toe box is a little smaller than other Brooks styles.

I've worn Brooks for the past 3 years and have loved them. My disappointment with this pair is the thinness of the sole under the plantar area of the foot. I feel like I'm hitting the pavement with my foot. I will order some inserts for these and see if it helps.

I wore the Asics Gel Cumulus 12 for years, even when Asics had moved onto the Gel Cumulus 19 I was srill able to find on sites like Zappos and Amazon. I finally ran out of backups a few years back and switched to the Brooks Levitate 2. I fell in love with the Levitate 2 and wore them for years! Sadly, the Levitate 3 was a slight downgrade and the 4 is just unwearable. Agree with others, these companies need to stop tweaking the shoe for marketing purposes because they are losing their best customers.

I LOVED my Levitate 2s (owned 5 pairs, trained for and ran two marathons in them). I would run in my 2s for the rest of my life if I could, so I was hopeful for the 4s. Once I found the right size, they felt amazing on. Super light, just right fit across the midfoot with a comfortable toe box. Ultimately, I have to return them because they just don't have the same connectedness and cushion that the 2s had. After about 3 miles all I feel is concrete under the ball of my foot, so I can't imagine running more than 5-6 miles in these shoes. Definitely a bit of a disappointment!

The Levitate 2 was much more comfortable. This version has no support or cushion. It feels stiff/ hard and I really dont like it.

I loved the 2's. I hated these. They were way too tight and were not comfortable at all.
They hurt my feet on my trial run, and I've never had a pair of Brooks do that. I ended up returning them.

My family loves brooks. And these are the only brand of running shoes we buy. But somehow these levitate 4's have absolutely NO padding in the ankle area. After running ONE TIME with them on, I got the biggest blisters on the back of my foot. My mom recently ordered the levitate 3's which have wonderful padding in the back of the shoe. I do not understand why the levitate 4's are different but I am extremely disappointed with this product.

I had high hopes! I really enjoy Brooks sneakers. My last pair was the GTS 17. I got every pennies worth plus more. However, I wanted to try something different so I ended up with the Levitate 4. They rubbed the skin of the back of my ankle. They run small but I did get the correct size . Just watch out.

I love these shoes. Levitate 4 keeps my feet from feeling tired after 12 hour shifts of standing work. Good profile for my neutral feet, decent heel support without too much lift, and a wide toe box. Oh and they look amazing. I will be getting multiple pairs of this shoe for work. I also add the SuperFeet Run Adapt insoles for some extra heel cushion and arch support, which the Levitate is able to accommodate if you size it properly (true to size so I went up from my usual 7.5 to an 8 so the insoles fit comfortably).

Awesome running shoes, however, unlike the Adrenaline that fits exactly to your size, I had to order a half size larger for the Levitate 4. These are awesome running shoes that are lightweight and propel you forward. Also, unlike the Adrenaline, it had a really nice reinforced side/ front, so much less likely for holes from wear and tear, punctures etc
