comfortable and cushiony!

Amazing shoes! They are super light weight, my feet feel great regardless of me wearing the all day or while running. I honestly will not buy another running shoe aside from Brooks. They are the best!

Super comfy ready to run in right away

I previously wrote a one-star review of the Ghost 13. Brooks was so great about wanting me to find the right pair of shoes, they quickly shipped these Levitate 4's to me, and I eagerly gave them a try. I am a long-time Glycerin runner; I have a fairly neutral foot and love good cushion. I have to say though, these Levitates immediately won me over. I took them out for a quick 2.5 mile hills run. I have to say that they performed above my expectations. I was flying so fast it felt like cheating. The energy response of these shoes is really motivating. I got my usual 7.5 and they fit well, a slight heel gap to prevent chafing, and appropriate room in the toe box. You may want to try going up a half size from your typical, if you have a higher arch or "thicker" foot. I have a petite foot and while the compression of the sock-like shoe wasn't too oppressive, I can see how someone else may feel uncomfortable in them. For running, they fit perfect; I had to unlace them for driving because the shoes started to feel a little too tight while sitting for 30+ minutes in the car.

The Levitate is my favorite brooks shoe and the 4 definitely did not disappoint! They are super comfortable and I love the springy feel! They also feel light on my feet which is great! They fit great but, I do have narrower feet so that May make a difference! They dry fast and did I mention the colors are awesome!

The original Levitates are still my favorite. I feel like they have the most "spring" to them. On me these ran a little bigger than the others, but they are comfortable. I always wear an 8 in Brooks and that's what I got in these. I ordered a pair of Ghost at the same time. I ordered both in an 8. The Ghost are about a half size smaller, but they both fit. These do not have enough support for me to run in them, but I need lots of cushion. I use them for everyday walking the dog, running errands, etc. I love the look of them and will be ordering more. While they are a little tough to get on, they feel so nice and secure on your feet. I have a narrow heel and the sock like wrap around the ankle feels great. I have high arches and the soft knit across the top of my foot is very comfortable too. Sometimes I have problems with the top of running shoes being too tight across the top of my foot. The stretchy knit with these takes care of that.

I absolutely love this shoe! It is light and comfortable but still provides great support.

LOVE the look of the shoe, but at first it was scraping the back of my heel, felt very uncomfortable the first couple of times I wore them at work but once I got to actually running in them the scraping totally went away which I'm glad I stuck it out because they feel so great on my runs and no more shin splints! YAY!

These shoes ROCK! I really missed the Levitate 2 ! The Levitate 3 are attractive but not comfortable. I am super happy with the changes made to the new Levitate 4 model! They fit well and I already have 2 pairs!

It was a little weird getting use to the first run for some reason. I think because I had big chunky running shoes before and these are so light weight. But after one run, I am in love!! They're extremely comfortable and cause no blisters. I run about 6 miles a day and these are wonderful.

Not only is this shoe beautiful but it's light weight and very comfortable. It's like a hug for my feet! Excellent support in the all the right places and by far one of my new favorite shoes.

Best pair of Brooks I?ve ever owned!

I absolutely loved the Levitate 1's. They were the most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever worn. I was devastated when I got the Levitate 2's. They rubbed my Achilles raw. They took forever to break in. The soles also split. In reading reviews about the 3's, I decided to skip them for the 4's. Best decision ever. As soon as I tried them on, I knew the Levitates were back. The fit, feel, and energy giving nature are immediately noticeable. They have a lower profile so they don't rub your Achilles. I did have to return the initial pair and size up a half size. The new pair is perfect. The sole is also redesigned. Hoping it doesn't split as easily.

Super light, with plenty of cushion, and sock-like fit. I skipped from the Levitate 2 to the Levitate 4, as I tend to get Achilles tendonitis, and the 3 was irritating it. I agree with other reviewers - definitely go up at least half a size. Highly recommend this shoe!

I love them. They are very comfortable and a great fit for me.

Love this shoe! Hugs my foot so I can do sprints and turns without my foot feeling like it's going to fall out. Really cool looking too!
