I was tired of being cold in the winter, so decided it was time to invest in a heavy duty coat, and this fit the bill! From reviews it sounded like it ran small so I first purchased a medium ( I usually buy small) and it was huge on me. I am returning it and now have a small which fits perfectly. It is a high quality coat and keeps me nice and toasty.

I live in the Windy City so naturally I need a jacket to cover my legs and get through the blistering cold. In either rain, snowing, below temps I couldn't believe how warm this kept me! This is hands down the best jacket I have ever had!

I wore this jacket in NYC on a day that was sunny 46f but chilly and i felt comfortable and not over heated. The omniheat technology is great maintaining corporal temperture. I bought large and it does fit a littleee large but doesnt bother me since it gives me space when i go in and out of the car giving space for the jacket to stretch out according to my positioning.

Needed a down jacket for walking commute in the Boston winter. This is the perfect jacket. It's warm and cozy, blocks the wind, keeps the water out, and looks fantastic! This is worth every penny!

It's a beautiful coat that is very warm. My only negative is that it is a little too small at the hips.

I had the della falls jacket that I absolutely loved and I lost weight and it was too big. I had a really hard time finding a jacket that was comparable to that one and this one seems to be the one. The material feels like water will run right off it. I love that the omni heat stuff goes all the way down to the bottom. The belt in the back is helpful as well. I love that theres 2 sets of pockets on each side so I can put things in them and use the other pockets. I cant fit a really thick sweater underneath it like my sherpa hoodie cause it's too tight but I dont need it. I do like wearing something under the jacket so I wear a light zippered sweatshirt under it.

I loved this coat so much that I ordered one for my teenager daughter as well. Great for Michigan winters.

Bought this jacket for a winter trip to Iceland. It has kept me warm and dry. So far so good. I like ability to be fitted or loose with the back strap. The two way zipper is helpful. I was able to fit confortably with a fleece and longsleeve shirt underneath. The medium fits well tho I usually wear a large. So glad I got it.

I bought this jacket because I go to school in the mountains. This jacket is very thick and the foil lining prevents strong winds from getting through. The tall neck helps keep my neck and chin warm and the hood wraps tightly around my head and doesn't fall down in a gust of wind. The belt on the back allows for a sleek design that is fashionable and flattering, yet still has optimal comfort and warmth.

This coat is really warm. Have only used it for about a week but wore it in -1 F and windy temperature and didn't feel cold at all, except for my face. It's my first time buying Columbia products and am impressed with the omni-heat . technology. Just kind of wish the color on the inside was less bright color, it's a shiny "foil" color , reminds me of a lunch box . But, it is not a big deal. I still like it. I'm 120lbs and a size S fit me well, not too tight and not too big.

I was a little skeptical at first, because this jacket is not my usual style. When I tried it on, it exceeded all expectations. It is so classy and comfortable. I struggle with weight and this jacket makes me look slimmer and feel good about myself. It holds up very well against the rain and snow and I am usually always cold, but not with this jacket, I stay nice and toasty. I would absolutely recommend this product.

This is the best coat I have ever had...super warm , you do not need any scarf and it is sper lightweight according to other winter coats...I ordered medium size before but it was a bit small... So I ordered new large one and fits perfect...I think I will wear it so long.

This coat is cute and functional, cold weather in MN doesn't bother me anymore because of the Omni-heat and the performance down. The length is good, the zipper doesn't go to bottom of the coats hem so you don't have to do a waddle walk.

I was searching for a coat that would keep me warm on my 10 minute walk to school every morning in frigid MN temperatures. This exceeded my expectations. It's long enough to keep my legs warm, has an extremely warm layer of fabric around the neck, and the reflective layer on the inside does its job in keeping me toasty even when it's windy. I love all the pockets, especially the one on the inside where I keep my phone so it doesn't die of cold. Overall, I highly recommend it for the coldest temperatures.

Another hit for Columbia!! I always size up with their coats and am especially glad with this one! Love the adjustable belt in the back so I don't look so much like the Michelin man LOL ! I wore it on 10* days and was very warm. Another feature to love are the the four pockets, two zippered and two large ones that snap shut, awesome!! Adjustable sleeves ,bottom of the coat and hood, what more could you ask for?!?!? I did take the fur off the hood tho :)

Nice mid-weight coat. Collar is wonderful & keeps you very warm in our balmy Maine winter!

This jacket! Let me tell you. It's so amazing! It's warm AND comfortable. The fluff around the neck is so enjoyable I love it. I love the pockets and how many there are! Would recommend to anyone! 10/10

I'm usually a large but had to get a xlarge in this coat I have only had it for a couple weeks but so far I really like it

I really like this coat so far! I haven't had an opportunity to wash it yet, but I have noticed some of the feathers come out and get on my clothes. I think there have only been 1 or 2 whenever I wear it and take it off. It's also a little on the chunky side. It definitely is harder for me to get my backpack on and off at school, but that was expected as a winter coat. It keeps you warm and keeps the wind off! I love the little fuzzy part around the neck, so you probably won't need a scarf with this! I bought a large for the bust and hips areas, but since I'm only 5' 1", the length is pretty long (picture attached, dog is a bonus). It goes down to my knees, but that's not a problem in my opinion! Just longer than I expected haha.

Exactly what I needed for the cold weather.

My wife, who I bought the jacket for, has enjoyed the warmth it gives you ,but she especially likes it because it looks professional and elegant. She feels that the versatility of the coat design gives her a lot of options for when and where to wear It. She is also debating on buying another one in a different color.

I can't say enough about this coat I love it!!! I actually bought it for myself but my daughter fell in Love with it so the coat became her Christmas present. Well I got back on Columbia's web site and bought 2 more !!!!!! Yes I said 2 more. The length of the coat is perfect the warmth of the coat excellent, no more being cold outside. The Icelandic has many pockets to accommodate everything you could possibly need. Gloves, phones, no more carrying a purse in the winter, so happy with my purchase.

I had to spend 2 winter months in central Alaska and needed a warm coat, a very warm coat that covered my whole body. I love the Onmi-Heat thermal and reflective lining. Though it's down, it's not so pouffy that I can't move, but wears like a regular coat. I also love how the neck has fleece lining and keeps my neck warm when I walk in the cold. The four pockets bring lots of room for carrying necessities. The fur hood further keeps out the cold. I also check out zippers as too many coats have cheap zippers. The zipper is higher quality and will last for many years. The first time I wore it around town, I got quite a few comments about how nice my coat was and where I bought it. So, it also looks good! My only issue is the sizing. I am a Medium which generally is a 10-12. I ordered an 8-10 which was way to small for a size 10-12 and the 12-14 that I kept is a little large for a 10-12. Fortunately I was able to tighten the belt and hood a little making the coat fit a little more snugly.

The coat is a little heavy but it's very warm! I love the fleece at the neck and all the pockets. I do feel a bit like the marshmallow man but as long as I'm warm, I don't care.

It runs a bit bigger than what I thought by I'm not mad at that on the contrary it has room for when I wear a bigger sweaters. It keeps my body at temperature and love the hoodie it don't blow away with the wind easily.
