I wear these boots when it's cold and rainy outside. They are perfect for that type of weather. Keep your feet very warm, and very dry. They are true to size as well.

Very warm. Like other reviewers, I got one size up from my normal sizing. I usually wear a 10.5-11. I ordered a size 12 and it is a perfect fit. The boots are a bit bulky, but that is due to the insulation. They seem like the will be great for snowy weather.

I received these as a present for this Christmas for myself and I could not wait to open them. They are perfect. Better than boots I bought before even from North Face. If I could walk on clouds this is it! Now some comments have said you have to go up in size but normally with most boots I have to move up to a 9 if wearing boot socks etc but not these. They fit so well that I put them on to break them in and I don't want to take them off! Normally your feet are sore after an hour during break in. Not at all so far with this boot. I am impressed. It was cold out today so went for a small hike about a half mile hike in the cold weather and my feet are toasty. The only bad thing I could say is on me for not getting these boots sooner. My cowboy boots and other hiking boots are going in the top shelf of my closet I doubt they get much use now. I did get in a small amount of snow and the traction is impressive. So far sheds water with no problem, walking through a small creek there were no issues and no leaks but it is not deep. These will keep my feet dry on fishing piers and banks I am sure. I felt stronger on my hike maybe it was just mental but these actually provide a lot of support and are soft unlike a lot of hiking boots that feel at best clunky and blocky at times.

Very happy with these boots! These are the second pair that we bought for our son who is very particular about shoes he will wear. These are the only boots that he likes.

I've only been on one hike with the boots and would need several more years to confirm the quality.

Amazing winter boot with loads of insulation to keep your feet warm in those sub zero temps. These look great and have great ankle support.

These are the best I have bought. I bought one for myself and another for my dad. I recommend it. They are very hot and soft.

This is my 3rd pair of Chilkats. Never had wet or cold feet. I put orthotics insoles in and my feet are happy.

Nice boots, seem warm and comfortable and the tread looks like it will keep me from slipping and sliding. I read the reviews, ordered a half size larger than I usually wear, but it was still just a bit too small and I had to return them and reorder. Otherwise, great experience with North Face. Bought a new jacket too when I reordered.

Bought boots for November hiking in Iceland-so expecting cold, rainy, some snow. Boots are extremely comfortable and insulated, but I haven't tested them in snow yet. Hiking in wet grassy fields they are completely waterproof. Very pleased. I ordered 1 size larger than normal to allow for winter socks. 1/2 size was a little to tight.

At first I thought they were to small after ordering the same size I usually wear but the more I put it on the more it fits better. Look forward to using them in the winter they feel really comfort plenty of insulation and super easy to get on and off
