Used for snowshoeing. Got two size larger to be able to wear thick socks. Will loosen up after a few miles. I got size 13 but probably should have got 12.5 but they didn't have it. But with thick socks 13 is good. My foot size measures 11 exactly with a ruler

Perfect for everyday use at altitude. Wore these on a ski trip and they were just what I needed.

I wore them during 2 ice storms we had was able to easily walk with good traction and to a very cold football game keeping my feet comfortably warm

The shoes was what i had expected from North Face. Great quality and it delivered as advertised. Slipped them on after a long day of snowboarding and they were comfortable and kept my feet nice and warm.

Nice, warm, sturdy, well-made & seem like they'll be durable. The whole boot has soft padding inside, not just the top. And the rubber waterproofing goes all the way around the bottom and toes, so that looks like it will be effective. Soles have good traction. The laces are elastic and you don't actually lace them or tie them. You just slip your foot into the soft cushy boot, and snug up the laces by pulling the laces . I'm barely a size 11, but ordered up 1/2 a size because I didn't want them to be too tight especially since I'll be on my feet a lot when I'm wearing them.with thick socks they fit perfectly.

I bought this boot specifically for Snowshoeing but with the Winter Weather we have been having for the past few years on Long Island, I need an all around boot for winter. This is the boot for me, I can use for Snowshoeing but also can wear for my commute to the office. Warm and snug, I find it is the perfect investment to get me through the winter in both personal and professional life while having adventures in between.

These shoes run about a size small but do wonders at keeping your feet warm and ankle safe during walks in snow and ice!

I luv these boots...I've worn them many times in the mountains. . I don't understand how some one said they fall apart easily. ...they are tough rugged boots....

Great snow shoes. I wore them throughout my vacation in CO. Feet were completely dry and warm. I plan on wearing them during rainy days in New Orleans.

I bought these boots for daily use. And I have to say the best purchase I ever made. They are so warm, keep my feet dry, comfortable, kinda bulky and heavy but when your feet aren't getting wet it doesn't matter. If you buy them like all reviews say buy a size bigger they are very snug. I love these boots and can't say enough how happy I am with them!!

I bought these for a birding trip to western Alaska this spring. Since receiving them, I have been trying them out in boggy, muddy conditions in western Oregon and have been happy with their performance. Waterproof, good traction and my feet haven't overheated. They should serve well in the Alaskan muskeg. Prior to purchasing, I read previous reviews and noted the sizing recommendation for these boots, which is to go one size large. I did that and the boots fit perfectly. Pay attention to this.

This is a great boot, a little bulky but nothing I can't live with. And tight around the mid foot

This is a great boot. It's nice and warm while still being comfortable to walk around in.

I sit out at the telescope for hours my feet never get cold, and I only wear lite socks otherwise my feet get to warm.

I use them in every time I can, very well made. Everything about the purchase was what I would expect from a retail store. The customer service was excellent; very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a positive experience.
