I like the slip on style, but those were (for whatever reason discontinued or not available). I saw these and decided to give them a try. The laces are quick and I'm able to tighten without lace loosening up. Snug feel, I ordered 1/2 size bigger (due to others recommendations)...they feel good and comfortable...have yet to test in extreme conditions. They were such a great price I had to jump on deal early

I tried using this boots as work boots since I work with a lot of water. They where amazing the first 3 day I had no problem. In the 4 day I couldn't stand them I walked about 1 mile in the and my heels where in pain. I'm not sure if I just got a defected product or if they are not meant to be use as much as I am using them

Generally, I would buy an item base on the review of the majority. So many positive reviews, but this time I would have to agree with the few negatives. I would agree that it is waterproof which is the only positive aspect of this boot. As for comfort, around the boot is semi comfortable. I feel North Face could have provide more cushion on the sole part of the boot. I had to add extra padding. I am on my feet all day when I am working which I found out this boot is not comfy (compare to all other reviews). Warmth: I wore this in low 30s and felt my toes were cold. I think this as to do with the bottom of the boots where North Face did not provide enough cushion or layering to further provide insulation. No sure how other have tested the boots. This is from my own experience and I am also comparing this to my snowboard boots which provide both comfort and warm in harsh condition. My recommendation is to use this in mid 40s and wet condition. Can be use in snow for the waterproof aspect but not for long period at a time for the cold.

I work outdoors. I bought these because I thought they were waterproof. I wore them in a blizzard and unfortunately my feet were wet.

these are nice looking sturdy shoes, but when you walk, they propel you forward. I decided to try them for a day. at the end of the day, they were so uncomfortable, that my back was hurting me. No joke.
