I live in Chicago and the city had a snow storm. I was walking around in some steel toe work boots. These boot are an upgrade in all aspects. Weightless, Comfortable, the snow does not stand a chance.

These boots are 3 to 4 years old. But only used them 6 or 7 times to shovel snow and onece to go snow shoeing in the park. I expect better quality from a company like northface. Sent them into support and they said they couldn't do anything because they are older than a year and sent me back the broken boots. That's probably why they only give you a year warranty. Boots are junk. I have a pair of Columbia boots that are 15 years old and im still using them. Stay away from northface shoes

It's a very warm and comfortable boot. I bought my normal size and it fits perfectly with a thicker wool sock. The ridges are good to hold yak tracks and snow shoes! The weight is good, they're a little bulky but that's ok given how warm they've kept my feet so far.

I bought these for my partner and he loves them. He says it's like walking on Vlouds and he has a hard time taking them off. Great shoes, stay warm and dry.

I bought this boot to endure the snowstorm this winter and I love it. It's a great boot for the city because it's light and comfortable for long walks. The insulation is thick enough to not need special socks to wear with it. I use it in the wild for snow hiking with over 12" of snow and this boot was like a tractor. Measure your feet before buying it. I strongly recommend this boots

These things are so light, when I 1st tried them on i thought I received the wrong item. They've been through 3 snow storms and I must say they're excellent!

Got these because I live in Chicago and our winters demand a good quality set of boots. I found them in these. They keep your feet water and protect them very well. I also use these when overlanding as well. No regrets and highly recommend.

These are excellent winter boots. They look good and keep my feet warm without looking like I stepped out of the tundra.

Bought these for a friend who is a postman to replace his Merrell's. Have had a lot of snow ( up to his knees while walking) and said his feet have stayed dry and warm every single day! Loves them.

I have probably put 80+ miles on these boots this winter. I have been lucky enough to get some awesome snow over the last month or so.
These boots stay comfortable & dry on long hikes, & they are holding up great. I have worn them with snow shoes & they stayed comfortable. Good ankle support. They don't rise very high on the leg, so I wear gaiters when the snow is deep.

I take these boots ice fishing. They work great. They are warm and flexible, which I love, so I don't get sore ankles and feet. I've been fishing in these in 0-15 degree weather and they work great with a nice solid pair of wool socks. The con would be the thickness of the outer tread/sole. I don't stay still very long so it doesn't bother me, but if you're more sedentary then you're feet will get cold in freezing temps. The height of these shoes is another plus. Just a great overall boot in my opinion. Like I said if you want a great sturdy, flexible, and warm boot, then this is it (would be great for hiking too). But if you're looking for like a work boot, hard toe, then look elsewhere. But this rocks in my opinion.

Great boot for commuting and errands. Not enough support to be a true hiking boot, but does suffice for outdoors. Best pros are that these boots feel like slippers, are warm, and waterproof.

I have my used my Northface three times after finally replacing my 30 year old-school Sorels. I would absolutely purchase these again. They are warm, have a comfortable fit, are true to size and work great with snowshoes. We were in thigh-deep snow for several hours this weekend in the Cascades... They performed perfectly!

These boots are easy to slip on and off, but cinch down nicely to provide a great fit. I am normally an 11.5 preferring a bit of toe room and the Chilkat E are perfect.
