I purchased these boots for normal wear and snowshoeing. They aren't big and bulky, your feet will keep warm.
Size fits true and treads grip well.

Rating after only few weeks of use. Wear for work such as snow shoveling, plowing on tractor, and walking in woods. Comfy, moderately warm in 10-20F temps. I have cold feet. Well crafted. TNF folks were very helpful and would buy from them again.

I got this pair for the snow in Washington. I've used it once and it kept my feet pretty warm and dry. If you're looking for something reliable, warm, and durable; this is a good choice.

I use these for snow duty on the railroad. Sometimes have them on for 8+ hours. So far so good. Toe area gets cold after a few hours. Change socks add a toe warmer. But for these to last on the railroad on ties and ballast, they handle abuse. Purchased an older model in 2015 they are still good I just wanted something higher.

I needed boots for outdoor use / hiking in -40 C. These boots performed excellently. Feet were warm with just one layer of wool socks. ++Comfortable unlike other boots I tried, sturdy, and reliable. Only thing: I usually wear 11.5, but needed a size 13 for this boot, likely because of the layer of insulation. Highly advise trying this in store, or otherwise ordering 1 to 1.5 sizes above your usual.

Got to use these last week doing chores around our hobby farm after an 8 inch snow. My feet stayed warm and dry. I normally wear a mens size 10 but bought a size 12 to accommodate heavy wool socks and give my toes some wiggle room. These are great boots and I am well pleased with my purchase.

First use in the mountains snowmobiling in probably 6 feet of snow. My feet never got cold nor wet. This is great warm waterproof boot!

Feet stayed dry and warm on 4 hour hike in wet sloppy snow. Fit very well on snow shoe.

Incredible warmth almost matching that of plastic mountaineering boots for around 1/5-th of the price. I have worn these in temperature ranges from 0 to 30 F in heavy winds and snow storms above tree line and I have never been even remotely cold using regular hiking socks. Boots have a builtin gaiter hook and excellent laces. Amazingly, these boots, unlike mountaineering boots, requires no break-in what-so-ever --- you can use them immediately for whatever activity you are interested in. I would recommend these for any non-climbing winter activity down to -20 F or so (most likely lower, but I have not yet tested them in such conditions).
A possible con for some users is that the boot dries somewhat slowly when wet/damp from sweating. This is however not a limitation of this particular boot, but that of all single boots.

These are the best, warmest boots I've owned. I have compared them to all of my winter boots and these are by far the warmest. You need to order one size bigger that you need as they are not true to size. I wear a 10 and am wearing an 11, very comfortable. As a Ski pro I spend a lot of time standing around in the snow. My toes stay warmer in these boots than anything I have ever warm. I would buy again!

I needed a pair of warm winter boot so I went to my favorite outdoor clothing company NF. When I wore them for the first time I could not believe how warm and waterproof they were. The only thing is they run a little small due to the thick insulation.

Bought these for a snow trip.
These did an excellent job at keeping snow/ice from sneaking down through my heels.
Very warm!

Great pair of winter boots. Water resistant and warm. Comfortable and a good height up the calf to keep the snow out.

Great boots! Good fit (always buy boots 1/2 size bigger) and super warm. Had the non-lace version in the past. These are awesome.

It's crazy how great these boots work. I have worn them in nearly a foot of snow already for a snowplowing/shoveling job. Feet have stayed warm in 0 degree weather and without a drop of water getting in. Ordered 1 size bigger to wear thermal socks with them and they work like a charm. Will be buying my wife the female version for the winter as well. Best winter boot I've ever owned.

My son had/still has a pair of these boots that he had for over three years. The only way he'll put those to rest is I had to buy him another pair.

Great for winter walking. They keep your feet warm and dry! I recommend buying a 1/2 size bigger due to the tons of insulation.
