Ordered half size up, a little snug in the toe box.

Got these last Friday and wore them inside around the office for an hour or so. They're lightweight and very comfortable. A little stiff, but that's to be expected in this style of boot, especially fresh out of the box. But the sizing seems way off. I typically wear an 11 in most athletic shoes and ordered the same in these, and my toes were scrunched wearing just my dress socks. There's no way they would have fit with a warmer sock. Seems like a great boot, just go up a size or so from your usual.

Perfect winter boots. Light and extremely warm. Sturdy sole. I had to return them due to the size being way too small. All sizes are now should out online and I cannot purchase them anymore. My size is 12.5 and will be buying a 14.

Had to return - one shoe was comfortable the other felt like walking in stones in the heel area. Not sure if the cause but ultimately the removable lining was the only thing between the hard sole and your foot and offered no cushioning

I generally have nothing but good things to say about The North Face. This is an exception to that. Although the exterior of these boots seems to be, and likely are, very well made and very rugged, the interior does not measure up.
I originally purchased my normal size 10.5 and found them to be an unusually tight fit. Both in length and width. Because of the construction of the exterior, there is no room for error in the fit. I decided to size up and see if that would solve my issue. Unfortunately what I discovered was a boot that lengthwise seemed to be a bit better but the width issue was still a problem. The entire interior is extremely low volume and the break-in period would likely be pretty painful. Tight fitting insulated boots are self defeating when your blood flow is compromised. To top it off, the footbed is thin and since it is glued in, can't be easily replaced with a different insole.

I'm a mail carrier and these do not keep my feet worm, I thought they were supposed to be waterproof. That's definitely not the case.

I've owned several pairs of Chilkat boots, and it seems like North Face just took the size 14 and then added insulation, making it much too small for a true size 14.
Would be so nice if NF recognized that there are people who need a larger size winter boot and make one. There is certainly a big enough market for this.
Otherwise NF forces to buy other brands.

I loved the boot but the rubber on the top heel started to peel away really really quickly I noticed it after about a week of wearing them

The Nonface Men's Chilkat 400 II is an absolute Trash someone from corporate or quality control is taking shortcut. I wanted a warm boot I paid the extra money. I bought these boots at the Mall of America in Minnesota in December 2011 3 months later on 3/4/2022 these boots literally split open I was in shock . I don't to do labor work I only used these boots when I go to the dog park. I have to circulation or health issues.
When I went to the store the employees at the Mall of America didn't care whatsoever. That situation was so bad I left the boots with the store employee and left. I felt so gross and taking advantage, I went home and dumped all of my North face products to the homeless Shelter.
These boots are not rated for -40 as mentioned that's false advertisement. When the weather drops to 22 degrees your feet will get cold extremely fast. That's a 100 % accurate review buy these only if you are stupid and have money to waste. These boots are useless

After reading the reviews I ordered a full size larger than I wear due to some talking about tight toe box fit. I wear a 9.5 wide in almost any shoe or boot so I ordered a 10.5. I was able to get my foot into the boot, however my big toe actually was smushed up against the very end of the toe box. I brought back to a local North Face store and tried a 10.5 again thinking there may have been a manufacturing issue. Same result. I went as far as trying on a 12.5 as the store didn't have any other available sizes. The 12.5 was excessively large for a 9.5 foot. I ended up submitting boots for a full refund. The sizing of this boot is very odd.

Runs really small, beyond just waiting for the insulation to form to your feet. Quality does not appear to be what it used to be, for example there was visually poor stitching, and a crease/fold in the inside lining across the top of the foot. No comments beyond this as I returned them.

I have had to order these boots 2 times now and send both pairs back due to sizing being way smaller than expected. Normally a size 10 and I couldn't even fit into an 11. Now they are completely out of stock for weeks now and I can't seem to get ahold of anyone at North Face to get an ETA if any. Not too impressed
