I was under the impression this was a max cushion shoe, but it is nothing of the sort. This is a fine running shoe but for me it was brutally stiff.

so disappointed with these. i have two pairs of the speed edition and they've been amazing. i thought this might be better for my slower, longer runs. they literally hurt my feet. i've used them as walking shoes, hoping that maybe they needed a break in period. that didn't work. avoid these and buy the endorphin speed.

The endorphin shift had so many ravishing reviews & I wish I could leave a great one. Unfortunately the shoe runs small & it has a very narrow toe box. I had to return it back to Saucony.

I have worn better shoes. This one was a total disappointment. It was tight. This will be replaced by Hoka One One.

I have several pair of Saucony shoes and after trying out the Speeds, I really wanted to love the Shift for my everyday runs. The shoe is cushioned enough. That's where the positives end. The shoe doesn't fit the same as the rest of the Endorphin series. It's narrower, the toe box is shorter, and feels small. After one average distance run in them I suffered a toe injury from hitting the front of the shoe.

I read rave reviews of the Endorphin Pro & Speed and some good reviews of the Shift. I was looking for a training shoe for slow, easy recovery runs and did not want something with a carbon or nylon sole, so went with the Shift. Big mistake. The shoes are terrible. I've ran three times with them, totaling about 30km and I now have an injury on my right foot. I am not sure if it is due to lack of cushioning or the reduced drop, but after running 8km or so, the bottom of my right foot begins to hurt. I skipped running for a week, thinking I hurt my foot some other way. Once my right foot recovered, I did a 12km run with the shoes and the pain returned, again after 8-10km. I consider myself an average runner (30-40km per week), not very heavy (145 pounds) and relatively slow (6:30 min/km). Still, the shoes are a big disappointment. I generally wear shoes from the 4-letter brand that begins with an N and have no issues with them. The only time I ever experience foot pain was with a pair of running shoes from the German brand that starts with an A. I ended up returning those. I would strongly recommend against purchasing the Endorphin Shift, unless you read a lot of reviews (with detailed pros/cons + comparisons to similar shoes) and talk to other runners.

For me, this is the worst shoe I've ever bought. A month of running and they still hurt.

Bought these over a month ago, although very comfortable to walk in, not to comfortable to run in. My heals hurts when I run in these, even after changing the insoles. I would not buy them again and would return them or exchange them for a different style if I could.

Really gave these shoes a shot. Ran in them 3 times on different occasions and had to recover from the pain I get on my upper heels after every run. Regretting buying these over the Hoka Clifton 7's. Love the brand but not this shoe in particular.

Purchased these to replace the zealot ISO. I'm a Five day a week runner 6 min miles per day They dicountinues the Mirage so I went to Zealot. Very disappointed in this new endorphin Feel No boost at all when running. It is a 4mm heal drop which I need. Please bring back the Mirage and Zealot. Wish the shoes had a better runner composite on striking surface.
