These are OK shoes for the price and run very big. I have worn Asics for over 30 years and only shoes that I have ever been disappointed with. Will need to try something else.

On the advice of my podiatrist, I have owned literally dozens of pairs of Gel Kayano over many years and have 3 pairs in use today. Something about the design of the 27 model is different than prior versions. The fabric in the upper puckers where it meets the rubber around the toe tip - see attached pics. I returned one pair for exchange but found the issue to continue. This is something I have not experienced before and hope that the design flaw is soon corrected.

I am a long-time buyer of gel-kayanos. I'm willing to pay up for them because they're an excellent quality shoe. This one, no. The rubber peeled off of both shoes on the bottom like 2 weeks after I got them and I had to glue it back on. The heel easily folds in when putting my foot in. The sole is not as robust as prior models. Very upset with it. I no longer trust ASICS.

This is the 2nd time i bought this model. Last time i had black color. But this time, I have issue with shoe quality. i think i got defective set. My right shoe has back side cushion little downside and torn compare to left side shoe. So they don't fit perfectly when i go for run. It always loose the grip.

First and only pair of ASICS I have completely disliked and found uncomfortable

I had to return it because Gel Kayano 28 D did not fit me well, it is not wide size is very narrow, I did not want to give up the comfort of Gel Kayano and and order Gel Kayano27 thinking that it resembled Gel Kayano 26 but no! I also had to return it very narrow and size Wide, I hate having to say this but neither of the two models, has the quality and structure or the colors of the Gel Kayano 26, it is a pity I thought that these two models were superior to the Gel Kayano 26 but no! they are very uncomfortable! what a pity that Asisc gave up quality! I recommended many people and also gave and on special occasions to my family and friends (all very happy but the Model Gel Kayano 26) Definitely Gel Kayano 28 and 27 has a much lower quality I do not recommend!

I have been using Kayano for the last seven years. Unfortunately, with the changes made to the product, I consider it one of the worst Kayano. The width is too narrow compared with Kayano 26 and 25, and the height near the heel is limited and short.

ASICS is still operating in Russia. I will not purchase or speak favorably about any ASICS product for so long as the company continues to do business in Russia.

Sending me an e-mail to review items that were cancled for no reason is untrustworthy. I will be shopping at another company.

These shoes are good running shoes but way over priced. Ya can't catch a good sale on Kayanos. Try Muzuno shoes a better value.

Recently replaced my GT-2000's with the Gel-Kayano in hopes of a little more support. After a few runs I have come to regret switching, as it has caused significant knee and ankle pain. Even with insoles, the run is uncomfortable from beginning to end. These shoes are barely worth walking in. If you're considering a switch, maybe reconsider!

Very disappointed in the product. I would not purchase again.

I tried to purchase these shoes only to be told that the shoes were undeliverable and I would be issued a credit. I told them that I did not want a credit, I only wanted the shoes. No one wanted to help me.

Absolutely the most disappointing purchase-not even close to consistency of seasons past. Purchased a replacement for vacation-out of the box into my suitcase. When I arrived, put them on and they were much shorter in length, something new about the inside construction at the toe box which caused a noticeable rubbing & presence. Lastly, narrow. Too bad I removed the hang tag, I would have returned them because I couldn't even wear them out of the hotel room.

Worse sneakers on earth. Asics has changed their sneakers and their customer service is a joke.

I bought the Gel-Kayano 27 from the recommendation of a friend. We both work in healthcare and are on our feet a lot so we have to have good shoes. I have to change shes about every 3-6 months normally. I have worn the GT 1000 and GT 2000 series and they have been my go to Asics for the past 8 years. The Gel-Kayano 27 has a weird crease in the first toe portion of the toe box that puts pressure on the big toe. It's not comfortable to wear and after wearing them for a 12 hour shift my toe feels like I have an ingrown nail. They also have caused my knee to hurt, I made it maybe 4 weeks with this pair of shoes and had to say NO more!

Low quality Half the shoe of the 26 ASICS have really fallen off

I bought these shoes a couple months back and was excited to break them in during Spring 2022. Now that Spring is here, I realized I made a huge mistake. After always purchasing Asics in size 11, I've realized these shoes are way too small. My Gel-Cumulus shoes that I bought last year were fine, but as you can see in the picture, the Gel-Cumulus 11s are at least 1/2 an inch longer than the Gel-Kayanos, if not more. I thought that these would be awesome. I was hoping they would be awesome. Now, I'm stuck with 2 pairs of short shoes that I can't run in without feeling pain.

I wore the shoes twice and it causes me to have foot blister. The shoe is smaller all around compared to other ASICS.

I bought this shoe two months back (end of Nov 2021) and and now the right sole started coming out. Just normal use, no running on turf or even road. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the product.

These shoes were SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I had to return them. They had very little cushion and seemed very rigid.
