After only a few times of wearing the shoes, I had a disappointing experience where a piece of the sole nearly completely fell off. They are no longer usable. I'm generally a big fan of the Gel-Kayano line, and have had Gel-Kayanos since the (original) Gel-Kayano 14, but this was far from ideal.

ASICS are the only sneakers I have worn for the past 10 years and have enjoyed the comfort of all previous purchases. Unfortunately, the GEL KAYANO 27's are not as comfortable as previous ASIC sneakers and I rate them below average at best for comfort and wear.

This pair replaced another pair that began to break down after just three months of daily use for walking approximately three miles per day. By the time I purchased this pair the former pair had failed in the stitching in multiple places and the tread was gone. At six months they were ready for the trash. We'll see if the quality improves.

Solid construction and stylish. I have owned several ASICS running shoes in the past and this particular style is the most uncomfortable pair I have ever worn. I will never purchase them again. I bought them online thinking they would be fine. Lesson learned - buy in store and check for fit and support comfort.

Collapses on the interior of the heel strike when running. Not an alternative to brooks adrenaline gts. If you need that support this isn't the shoe for you.

Not as comfortable as I remember the brand to be. I've logged some miles into my shoes and the are still stiff and hard. I've actually stopped using them and purchased a different brand which has worked out better.

I have many generations of Gel-Kayano shoes in 4E. I had issues with the shoe's sizing a few years ago when it appeared to me that the 4E's fit narrower than previous models. I decided to try other brands and recently decided to give Asics another try and purchased the Gel-Kayano 27 in 11.5 4E. I run about 15 miles a week and run for fitness purposes. These shoes still feel narrower than past generations and the shoe has a noticeable line that runs down the middle of my shoe splitting my big toe from my other toes. I also do not feel as much cushion in the toe box area and am simply disappointed with the 27s.

I did not like the newest version of the Kayano. In the past it was my go-to running shoe. The 27 offered no support or cushioning even adding a custom athletic insert. Personally, I would not order these again. I have been pleased with the performance of the GEL Nimbus.

Seemed longer than previous versions and just not very comfortable. I ended up sending them back

Bought 2 pair of this shoe (in different colors) as my new walking shoes. My old walking shoes were the "year-before" version of the same shoe. This particular one hurts my left foot after about 15 minutes of walking. The other color, no problem. Go figure.

After purchasing ASICS for over 12 years, these Kayano 27s were very upsetting. They became extremely heavy to run with and even walk with. For paying so much for a sneaker you would think they would be a great fit. Rear of the shoe is extremely heavy. Fits true to size . Very upsetting for a sneaker of this kind to not exceed its standards.

no problem with the shoes, except it's used---visible signs of dirt and wear.

Not real comfortable said was good for flat feet but I don't agree.

I bought this one week ago but not happy with the cushioning.The material of the shoes is good .Now I am going to returning back & getting Novablast ,

Not very well padded. I was expecting more comfort from this higher end model.

The front part by the toes are made of a harder plastic. So whenever stepping forward, the plastic naturally bends inward and rubs the big toe. Very annoying design flaw.

These weren't for me they slip at heel a lot to extent that they just didn't serve purpose at all. I decided to go with GT2000. Too bad as kayano has better cushion and support.

One pair is fine, but the other pair the heel on the left shoe is squeaking and I haven't worn it very much.

Well made product but uncomfortable and gave me blisters immediately. Also made my plantar fasciitis worse.

Toe box doesn't fit correctly. When you bend the shoe it creases in two spots hitting your toes. Not a good design.

The design of this shoe is unlike any asic before. Asics are the only shoe I wear. This style ties off on top of my foot causing pain. The laces don't come far enough into the instep of my foot.

Not really sure, as I returned them with the instructions that I needed a bigger size (ie: 11 to 11.5) and have heard nothing back as of yet? Can you please contact me so this can be resolved?
