I like the shoe but not near the shoe Gel-Cumulus 18 was. You should bring it back

I've had a better shoe. The comfort on the sole is not what I was expecting compared to my Gel-Kayano 25's. I feel like this isn't a new and improved product. It's a step backwards. I'm just hoping all the stitching is better than the sole.

I have been wearing the Kayano's for 20 plus years and generally love them, however this model seems to have a defect in the toe. When the toe is flexed the structure bends in and rubs making ut very uncomfortable. I am hoping as the shoe wears in this will go away. Never experienced this in any of the previous models.

The 27s maintain the same basic fit as my last Kayanos (the 25). Only difference is that this shoe is lighter. This is both good and bad, while lighter is better for running it feels more like a training shoe. The 25s felt a bit more bulky yet felt more substantial and better padded.

If you're looking for so much "give" on the outer heel that you feel as if you're just about rolling your ankle with every step - try these. They've also restyled the mid-sole. To me, it feels like it has less flex. I wear Kayanos as my work shoe. Perhaps if I was a runner these would work out better. As a shoe which needs to stand up to 8-10 hours on concrete, it's just not as good as the Kayano 25 or 26. Disappointed.

I've been running for decades and I run mostly half-marathons but have done some marathons too. I suffer from pronation that's why I chose kayano as my preferred running shoes. Having said that he is my review of the newest kayano shoe. It is a good shoe however it seems that asics has achieved a plateau in its development since no major improvements are seen in this latest version, actually it seems most of the changes are rather aesthetic than technical again it is still a good pair of running shoes if you suffer from pronation but don't expect a major difference from the previous versions

Different fit than the 26 model. We ended up returning because they did not fit my husband as well and weren't as comfortable as the 26s.

Great design and colors. It feels like a great shoe. A bit heavy. But excellent for regular runners who are a tad heavy. But with every step the outer mesh folds in rubbing against the big toes. I'm waiting to hear back from customer service. I can't use them like that. Maybe it goes away after a while.

The toe box was very snug with no room at all compared to the nimbus 22. Very tight around the mid foot and the back heal is not very comfortable/lifts out of shoe. The glue between the "gel" and the other parts of the show are sloppily glued and the gel has finger prints on them that are permanently imprinted into the gel somehow.

Nice color, husband complained that it kept hitting top of foot and was uncomfortable when walking. It was originally purchased for running shoes but they didn't work out for him. A different pair of asics were purchased instead.

I bought two pair of the 27. One pair did not have support in the sole and actually made a skishy (spelling) when I walked. Through those in the closet and brought out the pair which are just fine. I have been buy Gel-Kayano for years and that was the first bad pair.

These shoes did not fit right. The left foot felt tight but the shoe also felt too long.

I walk about 3 miles every day and bought these shoes a few weeks ago. They do not provide adequate cushion. My feet hurt when I get home. I am going to have to replace them.

I was pretty disappointed with this shoe. I used to purchase Kayanos year after year and only stopped because I felt the tread on these shoes wore out too quickly. Tread still looks thin, but now these shoes feel rather uncomfortable. Hurts my arches and my ankles seem aggravated after wearing them. I don't think I'll be buying these ever again.

The toe stitching/padding on the pair I received is off-center and digs into my toes. I know the sizing is correct because I own another pair of ASICS that fit fine and don't have this issue.

The toe has creases in it that are uncomfortable. I have a pair of gel cumulus that I love.

I've been trying to break in the shoes for a while now hoping it would go away and that I could avoid processing a return but now it's been too long so I can't. The right foot shoe has a lump in the toe under the ball of my foot where in the left shoe it is a nice comfortable valley. It makes my foot hurt at work and I wish they were just the same, for better or worse, than one shoe lumpy and one shoe not.
