long time nike wearer... these were my first asics! Impressed with the gentle but firm glove like feet on my heel to mid sole. the toe area is roomy but not to roomy! I feel very stable walking/runnung in them! NOT going back! Man to think I have been missing out all this time! Wife knows best!

So I've been using a lot of other brands, and was always hesitant to buy ASICS due to a bad experience before. So, I spent some time researching the GK and how it did for very flat feet and plantar fasciitis pain. All the reports/reviews were fairly equal in saying that people were able to run again, while using this shoe. So, I ordered a pair. I have been able to run, and it has been good jogs, with minimal foot pain after, something I haven't had in awhile. My only gripe, and it's a minimum one, is that the shoes are slightly narrow. Not a lot, but enough to notice. Other than that, this is a good shoe, and it works for the intended purpose of running and providing stability for a flat footed runner.

I'm on my feet all day at school. I love wearing these shoes as I cover all corners of the building. They help me cruise comfortably wherever I'm going!

The 27 model is more streamlined than the 26 model. Overall, I'm pleased.

I've had this shoe for maybe 3 weeks or so. I walk about 2.5 miles 5 days a week in it and do HIIT workouts. I've been happy with the comfort and stability of it so far, but the material on top of the inside ankle part has already worn through. My feet don't normally brush up against each other when I walk, but I've went for short runs in this shoe a few times so maybe it happened then and I didn't notice if my feet rubbed up against each other?

Very comfortable. Just wore for a week in Orlando walking parks. True to fit. Only weird thing is shoelaces are on the short side but they stay tied.

It feels comfortable and have more cushioning .But my right leg still pains but left leg is okie.

Great shoes I wish they came in a wide but that wasn't the case.

I have had multiple pairs of these, love them. Great support, good cushioning. Sole did wear a little faster than I expected but they didn't fall apart. The shoe that replaced it- Kayano 28 is a huge downgrade from this one. ASICS- BRING THIS MODEL BACK, not the crap replacement that the 28 is!

Great shoes, but I had to switch out the laces, they were too short to wear comfortably while I ran.

I always like Kayano and Ascis is the only shoe I'll run in. With that, I feel like you changed the Kayano a few models ago and don't like them as much as I used to. They don't fit the same. Overall, nice shoes.

Gel Kayano 27 are very comfortable and lightweight.

Great fit and look, only reason for a 4 start is that the insole is a bit too soft, would prefer a more firm supportive insole/arch for when I walk on the treadmill.

For the first time in 25 years I noted the seams and stitching is slightly off and out of balance.

light and robust but a bit tight. for Asics brand its ok

I have problems with my hip and feet and these shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn and enable me to walk further than other shoes. If I changed anything about it I prefer the ones with the harder heel so when you slip your foot in it doesn't keep smashing down. I think it's the best tennis shoe you can purchase for Comfort. The other pair I have has a harder heel area and you can just slip your foot in it's the same company I think they make them in silver I have them in copper color they don't seem to make those anymore.

I haven't put a ton of miles on these shoes, so the jury is still out, but . . . compared to the previous iteration, the toe box feels a little wider, which I appreciate, and the overall feel is just a hair softer. The 26 model felt quite a bit firmer and not as responsive, so I think this is an improvement.

They are comfortable. Still not enough arch support.

It's still a great running shoe but I think I'm going to try the new Gel Nimbus!

I had versions 7 and 13 of the Kayanos before and purchased these for easy runs and getting around. The only minus: it takes a big effort drying them out after running in the rain.

It's a great shoe for the money. I've ran the Nimbus forever but with the times we live in I needed to save some money and I thought I'd try the KayanosI like them a lot!

The Gel Kayano has been the shoe I've been working out in for 8 years. Not only do they support the foot well but they are very comfortable and light to the point that sometimes I don't even know they are on.

This is approximately my 6th pair of Kayano's however this model has less padding than the previous pairs.. Still a good shoe but not as comfortable as the previous ones.

I just went from the Kayano-26 to the 27. Same size ordered. The 26 fit better IMO. The toe box in the 27 feels a bit wider and the length is a bit longer but still same size as 26. Overall happy with purchase
