Returned shoes for different size but, because they were a promotion they wouldn't exchange them for a larger width. The shoes run narrow. Feel like I was ripped off. They didn't notify me, poor customer service.

Three Bondis (including the very first, the Bondi B), two Cliftons (this and version 1) and two Stinsons (versions 1 and 3). Only the Stinsons were soft, particularly version 1, which I still keep in my closet. This current version of the Clifton is only marginally better than the React Infinity. Hoka need their own version of Pwrrun+ or Zoomx. Stack height alone won't do.

The shoes feel extremely narrow and that has never been a problem for me before. I'm so confused because everyone I know says hoka's are some of the most comfortable running shoes ever but it constantly annoys my arch with every step. I thought maybe break them in but the problem persists and they look nice and add an inch to your height which is nice but are almost impossible to wear for a long day at work

I heard they were so good for people with foot pain problems, and a shoe much cheaper did a better job.

After breaking the shoes in on multiple shorter runs and feeling slight discomfort around the arches of my foot I opted to try a longer run. This resulted in the worst blisters I've ever gotten. The shoes were the right size but there is way too much space around the arch of my foot (I also generally go wide and find shoes don't support my arch enough so this was quite surprising). I'd upload a photo but don't want to send shivers down anyone's spine. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to give Hokas another shot.

First time trying a Clifton. i wore Bondi 6 before. Clifton's arrived and I could tell after my first few steps that it did not feel comfortable for my running style. Left shoe especially felt "off". So I returned them 2 days later for Bondi 7. Bondi's arrived a week later and fill much better.

I was super excited to get these shoes with the desire to start running half marathons regularly. I've had a history of plantar fasciitis and since mostly recovering had been using new balance neutral fresh foam shoes. I read that the Clifton 7 provided more vision and made people feel better about long runs. I run 7 miles usually on Saturdays and 4-6 on sundays and have for a long time. After wearing the Clifton 7 for 5 minutes i noticed my feet feeling really tired and my leg and hip muscles. I tried them for a 7 mile run and literally nothing about the run was relaxing like usual. I felt too high off the ground, and my whole lower body felt like it was working the whole time. I'm a fit guy who is always moving on the weekends. These shoes really disappointed. I just got the new version of the fresh foam and didn't have any of the feelings from the Clifton 7. Bizarre.

I loved the Clifton 4 Series. This "upgrade" is way too stiff, gives me blisters, and hurts my feet all over :/

My feet did feel comfortable inside the shoes, despite having the correct size and width. Somehow the insole or midsole didn't feel flat, and small ondulations made my feet hurt. My big toe had blisters on the edge of the insole and the toe cap. Ended returning the Clifton 7s.

This is the first time I bought HOKA shoes. I got 2 pair and, unfortunately they were too small. I didn't think that was a problem until I tried to exchange them. First of all it was almost impossible to get an accurate return label. It would only indicate that I had one pair of shoes. HOKA doesn't have a "live" person to talk to so I had to do all communications with their "text" expert. In the middle of these texts their system crashed and the message asked for me to "try again in 2-3 days. I know-this sounds unbelievable. It's not. When I tried to call their corporate offices there was NO ANSWER. I learned that their entire office was shut down due to COVID. Finally I was able to return the shoes. After 3 weeks I still had not received the proper credit for my returned shoes. 5 days ago I received a text telling me the credit would be processed in 3-5 business days. To datenothing.
I'd be shocked if this review ever was posted on their "review" site. Do t know the quality of their products but their customer service is absolutely horrible. I'd never do business with them again. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

I have been running -- with pleasure -- in the Clifton series since its introduction. Over the years, the fit has changed from version to version. I was thrilled when they finally introduced a wide version a few years ago. Unfortunately, the upper and fit of the Clifton 7s have been changed substantially from the Clifton 6s. There is now a gusseted tongue, which I believe contributes in part to a narrow feeling. But the toe box is also much narrower, even in the wide version. This is all very disappointing, and has essentially ruined my favorite running shoe. Hopefully Hoka is listening and can correct things with the Clifton 8s.

I love the Hoka brand and have worn them for 3 years but these Clifton 7s are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. I walk up to 50 miles a week and the first time I wore these I started getting hot spots on the instep where the tongue restraints are located and the restraint seems to make the shoes not true to size compared to the Clifton 6(smaller). The second walk I took in these shoes I started getting calf cramps after a mile of walking along with more hot spots. I have returned these shoes and went with the bondis and I hope these work. You can do better than this design.

This fit and sole are markedly more narrow than prior versions of the same shoe.

Although they are a good shoe it becomes Obvious they've been engineered to not last as long obvious they've been engineer to not last as long.

So I'm going through the exchange process and it is taking forever to get any type of communication about my return. I've contacted customer service several times since I have not been updated on them receiving my exchange or them full filling the exchange. I really wish it was more transparent.

I went on several runs with them but my foot kept sliding all the way cramping all my together by the pinky toe so I had to keep pivoting my foot to recorrect it. I reached out to customer service and told them I only ordered size11 Clifton 7s and they were not wides either and she basically said there was no solution because she wouldn't suggest a different size. So I returned them but they were comfy.
