Currently the Bondi 7 is the only shoe Hoka offers in an extra wide. The Bondi "wide width" is very narrow compared with ASICS or New Balance. Additionally, Hoka does not currently offer any trail shoes in extra wide (only regular wide). I'm crossing my fingers that Hoka will come out with more stylesin extra wide--especially trail shoes such as the Challenger and Speedgoat.

These shoes are super comfortable. I have a job that requires standing for long periods of time. These have helped so much...my feet no longer hurt at the end of the day.

I am 6'2", 195, 65 years old, a guy, bad knee, flat feet, wear orthotics, and have a bad ankle. I walk 45 minutes each day as fast as i can, so I guess a power walk. I was hoping the extra cushioning on the shoe would be comfortable, but it was really too squishy for me. The shoe in general, seems really good, just not the right kind of shoe for me. The Zappos support, however, was great!

Bondi 7 is the most comfortable walking shoe I've owned. The fit is perfect and the shoe is totally neutral unlike others that are advertised as neutral. Just the right amount of cushion.

The perfect shoe for me. I always get a 1/2 size larger for extra toe room. I can really tell the difference when it's time to replace them. Haven't found anything better for the hips, knees and ankles of a 58 year old road walker/jogger/runner.

THE most comfortable shoe for spending time on hard floors. They feel like I almost bounce as I walk.

I was getting some nasty shin splints in previous shoes and not even a hint of them when walking in these. I just wish they would make wide shoes in some fun colors other than gray and black.

Being a nurse in a hospital requires long days of standing the whole time. These Bondi's are the only shoe that I can get 2 years out of. Got to protect your feet nurses, medical professionals, etc.

My physicians nurse recommended HOKA. After I received the first pair the pain in my hip and bak improved. I purchased a second pair just to walk in as I am rehabbing and I was limited in the distance I could walk by pain. With this new pair that I only use for walking my distance is improving it seems day by day and the pain, when it comes is no where near where it was pre-Hoka. Thank you so much. Also a good pair of size 15's are hard to find.

I buy Bondi's for running and then wear recreationally once they hit 450 miles. Having suffrered years of on/off injuries, running in minimalist shoes, I've had no injuries since my 1st pear of Bondi 5's several years ago. With over 2,000 miles logged at an avg 8:30 pace, there's less than 10 secs/mile avg difference in time, between my Bondi, Clifton & Rincon. Maybe thats a big deal for an elite runner, but at age 59, I love having the protection from wearing the " heavier" Bondi, paritcularly on hills & longer runs. Clifton 7 is also an awesome shoe. I'm only 50 miles in, but out the box they're way better than the 6 and quick. Rincon I had to try because of all the great reviews, but its too harsh of a ride for me and one I'll leave for someone younger to enjoy. I hope this helps you decide. I can't speak highly enough of Bondi.

Hokas are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. If you have Plantar Fasciitis, look no further! Bondi 7 is it!!!

Absolutely love the Bondi Series. However, the wide width has never quite been enough. Now Hoka offers a new 4E and this new shoe is the greatest. I've already recommended these to two friends who also were extra wide shoes.

This is my 7th pair of Hoka's. The Bondi 7 is particularly cushiony. These shoes make it possible for this 60+ to be able to walk miles even with spine issues. I buy a man's size 8, even though I am a woman, size 9. This allows the toe box to be extra spacious. If I made one suggestion, people with pronation may want to put an additional arch support in shoe. These shoes are so responsive, cushiony! I love 'em.

I'm a 60 year old very active man standing 6ft tall and weighing 215lbs. I do a lot of weight training, walking, hiking and biking. I am not a runner. Over the years, I've developed some significant foot pain and lower back issues. I received my first HOKAs this week and after only a few days of wearing the Bondi 7s, I am amazed at the comfort of these shoes! Seriously, I cannot imagine athletic shoes having more cushion than these and still have great stability. My foot pain goes away with these shoes and I don't want to take them off. My lower back seems to be improving wearing these as well. Time will tell how they hold up over time but they look to be very good quality so hoping they will last awhile. Don't have anything negative to say at this point except I hate laces on all shoes! If HOKA One One used the BOA lacing system on your shoes, I'd buy all of them even if it added to the cost!

These are serious shoes. Normally a bargain basement 39.99 guy when it comes to shoes, I learned the hard way. A second bout w plantar fasciitis sent me in search of a more substantial shoe. I walk 4-5 miles each morning. These are very comfortable. Highly recommend. Snug fit. Plenty of toe room lots of support for arch and heel.

I have hammer toes on my right foot, so I was concerned when I first put these shoes on, and there was some rubbing atop my little toe 'knuckle'. But within a few days, my feet settled in nicely, and the rubbing went away. The sewn in pad under the removable pad, is a nice touch that I didn't expect. I suspect that is why these shoes cost more, but also why the cushioning is so good. Similar to the SAS shoes I wore, when I was on my feet 8 hours a day, before retirement. I only use these shoes for mild biking and walking, so I cannot attest to their durability for more vigorous activities. These shoes replaced a pair of Brooks, so I had high expectations. They've been met, so far.

11/16/2020 - Hoka was recommended to us by several doctors and nurses (who, during surgery or even throughout the day are constantly on their feet). They said these were the most comfortable shoes they've ever worn! I bought a pair for my husband (for Christmas, but gave them to him early to make sure they fit), and they are everything they're hyped up to be! Perfect fit and extremely comfortable! Only MINOR drawbacks are getting used to the thickness of the soles and they are quite pricey (except when compared to designer shoes, but most of us can't afford those either!)

I have chronic lower back pain and a tendency toward foot pain as well. The Bondi 7 has made a very significant difference. After about a week of wearing them I'd say I have 70% less pain. They feel very springy to walk in and it's easy to put in orthotics (as I did). Incidentally, this was the second style of Hoka One Ones I tried. the Gaviotas cut into my instep, but the Bondis don't. I don't love the way they look, but that's a small price to pay for reduced pain--The look isn't terrible. It doesn't scream "Orthopedic!" but neither is it the cutting edge of fashion.
