Made my feet feel tired. These are clunky and my foot slid around left to right inside.

The right shoe was digging into the arch of my foot. I couldn't return them fast enough.

I run, but the sizing is off. I have the Bondi seven in black size 8 the fit is true. But, the gray Bondi seven is too big.

I've never owned HOKAs, but I recently tried them on for the first time. From my experience, many of the reviews I've read seem accurate. I usually rely on reviews to guide my purchases, and in this case, they left me on the fence. While HOKA has a lot of positive feedback, some of the negative reviews are concerning. For context, I typically wear New Balance, Asics, or Nike, so trying a newer brand like HOKA had me curious. At Dick's Sporting Goods, I tested the Transport Gore-Tex Invisible Fit. They felt comfortable in the midfoot area but were tight around my toes, and the heel felt overly hardalmost like standing on a cement floor. I also tried a larger size in the Bondi model. While it was surprisingly comfortable, the oversized design made me feel like I had clown shoes on. The limited color options didn't help either, and I worried they might rub against each other while walking. While I was at the store, a man in his 80s came in to buy his second pair of Bondis. He swore by them, saying they significantly alleviated his arthritis pain after just a few days of use. He even mentioned that his doctor had recommended the brand to him during a visit to urgent care. Despite this glowing endorsement, I decided to check out Champs Sporting Goods for more options. Unfortunately, they no longer carry HOKA shoes, explaining that HOKA had pulled their line, claiming their brand was "too good" for the store. I'm not sure what that meant, but it was disappointing after already spending so much time trying to find the right fit. In the end, I left empty-handed. I wasn't able to find the right pair, and the experience felt more complicated than it should have beenespecially with long waits for store attendants who were assisting other customers. For now, I'm sticking with the brands I know, but I remain curious about HOKA and whether they'd be worth revisiting in the future.

I've owned three previous pairs of Hoka, bondi 7, then 2 pair of bondi 8. I loved them and recommended them to people. This last pair I bought were no better than dollar store shoes. I will never purchase Hoka again

Bought these for my son to replace his original pair. The insole is too large for the shoe and therefore uncomfortable. I requested HOKA issue him a new insole but they are unwilling to do that. They offered to let him return the shoes and then they would replace once they received his. But he needs his shoes now. So I guess I have to buy a new insole from Dr Scholl's and send to him. Poor solution for such an expensive product.

Compared to the gaviota 5 these were awful. Too narrow and not cushiony. Didnt even get it laced. Slipped it on and it was an immediate no.

My first Hoka was the Bondi 7 two years ago. I loved it so much I bought a second pair as a back-up. Now that my first pair has worn out, I have broken out my back-up and love it just as much. When I saw Hoka had brought back the Bondi 7 I was so happy I bought another pair. Tried it on when it arrived and to my disappointment, it was NOT the same shoe. The plush cushioning is gone! Replaced by something hard and unforgiving. If this is your first HOKA you may like it. If you already have the Bondi 7 from two years ago, you will not like this one. It is not the same. Try a different shoe.

I have 4 of those pair of Hoka 7 because I love them so much for walking. This shoe is extremely comfortable, stable and adds a pep to my step. Unfortunately, I now experience tendinitis due to the heel construction. Bondis have that plastic heel cup. The Hoka Gaviotas do, too. If the plastic is exposed or otherwise poking into your heel, you're gonna have a bad time. I wish this long time issue would be addressed. I can't afford to keep purchasing these if the heel issue isn't resolved. I've tried everything to repair the plastic heel exposure, but nothing seems to work. The Bondi 7 are by far the best shoes I've ever owned due to significantly reducing leg pain and optimum stability. It's like walking on air. Unfortunately, the heel pain begins to quickly after purchase making it financially difficult for me to continue to purchase knowing the heel construction will be exposed in an unusually short amount of time.

I really wanted a plush cushioned shoe. This is no way cushioned. Once you put the shoe on your foot sinks down to the hard layer and it is like standing on a solid floor. I believe this is false advertising. Maybe in the past this shoe was what they say. My whole foot especially the heel was in pain very quickly. I only wanted a house shoe. They need to address this issue. No way anyone who received this shoe can possible say this is soft. My worn out old brand shoes are softer. I let my spouse use there hands to and they said wow, what were they thinking.

Was so excited to see the Bondi 7 was brought back, but my excitement didn't last long. Actually had my old pair of Bondi 7's on when the shipment came. Took one off and put on one of the new ones. Not even close to the original feel. Much stiffer. If you're going to bring back a style, make sure it's made the same way with the same materials. Returned immediately. Thanks for wasting my time.

If these were correctly sized it would help - I have several hoka’s all the same size so these run a full size smaller? I’m afraid to try again…

I really loved running in these. I've never felt such support in a shoe, and I could last a lot longer on my runs. My plantar fasciitis cleared up after using these for a month as well. However, after about 8 months, tears in the fabric of the heel started appearing, where sharp plastic would come through and scrape my skin. It made them effectively unusable. I would never buy this particular model again, as I'd like to use my running shoes for longer than that.

Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the shoe for me. It has caused my knee to hurt more and more often than before. It is a good quality shoe, made well and has tons of cushion.

I wear a 10.5, wide, in women's, sizes, normally I wear a 10 wide, ordered an 8.5 wide in men's and they fit like the 8 wide I ordered previously, that did not fit. Very disappointed that that particular shoe was not true to the size I ordered. I lost $12.00 having to pay for the return

I wore the shoes for about 1 week and ended up with sore feet. There is not enough room in the toe box and the support was minimal.

I bought these shoes at least 3 times already and every time within 3-4 months the heel deteriorates forcing me to throw them away. I've contacted customer service and have gotten nowhere with their strict warrantee service. I have ben advised that I have to return my broken shoes to the warehouse before getting a replacement. Unfortunately, I have a medical foot issue and do not own any other sneakers that provide relief for my foot issue. Hoka is requiring me to send them back to them before getting a replacement. I.E. they're literally taking the shoes off my feet and I will be without sneakers for my medical issue until they send me a new pair in the next two weeks. I am super unhappy with this brand and their customer service and have never experienced such bad service from any brand ever. Most companies will just send you a replacement quickly and without issue if you send them a photo of the damaged product. Hoka is a disappointment.

Love Hoka - but this pair runs larger than my last pair of Hoka's. Disappointed and I have not kept the original box so will be unable to return them.

I have worn HOKA sneakers for years. Always the Bondi until this year when I tried on the new Bondi 8. The souls are hideous. Need to change back to the Bondi 7 version. The normal HOKA is wide as it is and the new version look like you are walking on a flying saucer!!!
