After purchasing my first pair of Hoka Stinson shoes, I wanted more. I called, to inquire as to the most-cushioned Hokas, the representative told me it is the Bondi. I ordered two pairs. The Bondi shoes are prettier than the Stinsons, but, as far as the sole, they are not nearly as cushiony as the Stinson. The Bondi is a stiff shoe that offers little cushioning.
I received an email advertising the Gaviota 4, advertising it as the plushest shoe yet. After being disappointed by the Bondi, I went to the nearest big city, none of the stores that carry Hokas, had the Gaviota 4 in stock, yet.
Anyway, I would NOT recommend buying a Hoka shoe, without trying it on, first.

I've worn these shoes for 5 months now and they have already lost most of the support they originally had. They squeak incessantly even when dry. I'm pretty disappointed with their lack of longevity.

I took them to Europe and only wore them twice. I would like to return them.

I bought a regular size 13 and exchanged for a wide 13. It felt good when trying on, but after actually using them for running I discovered that they too are not wide enough. They were used twice and cannot be exchanged. I have never had to buy a wide or extra wide in any sneaker before.

I have been using a pair of Hoka Speed Goats for hiking and they are a great shoe, good fit, great cushioning. I decided I needed a running shoe with great cushioning so I bought a pair of Hoka Bondi7s. This was a mistake. In less than 100 miles the shoes are showing great wear on the soles and the inside has holes in the back. The shoes seem to have little stability and I have gotten blisters on my toes and heals.
I can usually get more than 300 miles out of a pair of running shoes and I never develop blisters.
It looks like these shoes will go to the homeless shelter. Hopefully someone will get some use out of them.

Love the shoe that other brands are trying (unsuccessfully) to copy.
So light and so comfortable. Never thought I'd replace my Brooks Ghosts, but now own two pairs of Hokas and bought another for my wife.

These shoes are for my husband. He was very disappointed with these shoes. For the price of the shoes, he felt they should have been made much better. Very flimsy, not what he expected for $160.00.

I love my Rincon and Clifton, but the Bondi is hard and hurts the bottom of my foot.

Purchased 2 pairs of Bondi's within 30 days. Sized at running store (1st pair) that's been in business over 40 years. I use runners knot. I only walk. I do not notice any heal slip when walking. I purchased appropriate running stocks from the same store at the time of purchase. Within 30 days I purchased my second pair of Bomdis. Both pairs of shoes wore through and the heel on my left foot. This occurred in both pairs of shoes before I had put 200 miles on them. Nice shoes very spongy and comfortable however not impressed with the fact that I spent over $300 on shoes and both shoes failed in the exact same spot with less than 200 miles.

I have been having issues with my feet for a long time and people have guided me towards the HOKA brand. I purchased a couple of pair of these shoes, a pair for work and a pair for walking, and I really haven't gotten any relief. I don't think I ever will though since I've been told that my feet are flat. I've tried inserts as well and they don't work either. Sorry to write that I am not impressed with HOKA...or any other brand at the moment.

The shoes are great, especially for prolonged periods of standing, but the cushion on the left heel is completely deformed and detached from where it should be only about 1 month into wearing them.

I've worn the Bondi 6 for years, and they always held up very well. I'm forced to buy the Bondi 7 now, and they are not as good. The quality definitely dropped. I have one pair of Bondi 7s that hurt my feet, and they are less than year old. I went back to wearing my old Bondi 6 shoes, which are over four years old. They are still more comfortable even though they look old. I will be forced to buy a different shoe now, which I find very disappointing.

I want to start by saying these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I have 2 pairs and love them. This pair must have had an issue because 2 weeks after wearing them the bottom sole cracked and created a gap that made them uncomfortable to walk in. I have two other pairs and have had no issues with them. I am sure it was just a design defect/flaw but still annoying when they cost so much.

I run 15 miles a week. I adored the Bondi 6, it was simply the best shoe I have ever owned in 30 years of buying running sneakers. I ordered the Bondi 7 and was very disappointed. Not as plush, sits lower, feels firmer, less bounce, drained my legs of energy. Also it's cut narrow for my foot giving me numbness. I tried the wide and it's too wide. Seems a bit average and feels overpriced. Returned both pairs. Hoka, please return Bondi to it's former plush glory.

I think the shoes feel great when I put them on in the morning, but by the end of the day they cause me pain in the toe regions. I am a teacher and I am on my feet all day, so I need a shoe that feels comfortable for 12+ hours. I have tried to switch back and forth with my older pair of Brooks Launch 8 to try and get used to the Hokas, but I am still feeling pain at the end of the day. I may have to keep using the Brooks brand and they are less money. I would be open to trying other Hoka models as I also hike the mountains around Flagstaff quite often.

My first pair of Bondi 7 the sole treads were falling off after several months.
My new 2nd pair has a hole where my upper heel meets the liner fabric

I really liked the extra support but I didn't feel like my foot was balanced. I feel much more stable with the Rincon and also the Torrent 2 which are perfect for me. I just thought I would try something different. It could just be the way my foot is shaped. Kudos to Hoka for their return policy. I returned them and bought another pair of Torrent 2's

Was told that a men's shoe is wider than a woman's. In this case, that is not true. The men's Hoka Bondi 7 is the same width as my women's sneaker. Unfortunately, not wide enough for my bunions.
