Everything about the shoes is excellent except for the padded heel riser which is soft and tends to collapse into the shoe when placing your foot into the shoe. Even the heel pull tab or a shoe horn doesn't help. Additional rigidity, in this area would be extremely helpful when putting on the shoes.

I have purchased every generation of Bondi shoe, in the wide width, starting with the Bondi 4. The wide was never wide enough for me, but I tolerated it because I need the maximum cushioning and neutral footbed that the Bondi has always offered. I have rheumatoid arthritis, a size 4E foot, and I use custom orthotics. The extra wide Bondi 7 accommodates my width and the orthotics with no problem. It is finally the version that I had been hoping for. I also believe they made the toe box a little deeper on the Bondi 7, and that was a major improvement from previous versions.

Shoes feel real comfortable and love the cushion. Only problem they are not as wide as my New Balance 2E. Still trying them but I may need to return. Really want them to work

Ordered for my dad (75 yrs) who is still very active and is on his feet all day, working long hours on concrete floors. He had been wearing Skechers for the “cushion” they provide but the cushion would wear out so quickly that he had to replace them every couple of months! I had heard good things about these from nurses. He said they are the most comfortable shoe he has ever put in his feet! They took a little to get used to because they have a higher/larger sole and seem somewhat elevated in height. I wish they had better color choices and maybe even something a bit more work appropriate like browns/tans with a non-white sole. The all black looks too much like a restaurant employee but it’s the closest work looking shoe because of the darker soles.

I've had them for about a month now and they offer plenty of comfort for long (up to 16 hours!) work days. They have also been great for dog walks of 2 -3 miles. They are a little tight width-wise, which is rare in my experience so be advised. Overall they are a solid shoe choice and the basic black color makes them acceptable with two different employers. I would/will purchase again.

1. Really need the bindi 7 all leather in my size for work. These have been out of stock for some time. When can I expect to see the bondi7 ALL leather in my size? 2. My wife takes a 2E width in new balance. Does HOKA accommodate her width size?

I like the maximum cushioning for my old bones but I don’t so much like the 4mm differential because the toe off slows me down. I use these shoes for longer runs, 6 miles and over, but for shorter faster runs I use a different brand with a 10 mm differential. It’s kinda like this, with thin low profile tires on an automobile you can feel the road and with fat truck tires, the road feel is deadened. These are the truck tires.

I have bought 2 Hoka Bondi 6's for myself & enjoyed so much. Have osteoarthritis in both knees and need replacements make it bearable to walk. With the 30 day trial period I wanted my son to try too - so far he is very pleased with - now dad wants a pair too!!

I wanted to get my dad a new pair of hoka one one bondi 7's - he has a wide foot and had been wearing the bondi 6 in 2EE wide for a year every day and he loves them. I wanted to get him a new fabulous color so I chose the navy bondi 7 in 2EE. They are a bit tight - wearable but not with anything but thin socks. The only 4 wide that hoka sells in the bondi 7 is an ugly grey - so we are kind of stuck with the navy that looks fabulous but is a little snug.

I decided that rather than give a first impression review of the Bondi 7, I would do a 100 mile review to give a better idea of the shoe durability and comfort. I purchased the Bondi 7 in Oct 2020 as a trainer shoe. Given my size (14) it is on the heavy side which is exactly what I wanted. The comfort of the shoe can not be overstated. It is VERY comfortable for using as a trainer and as a power waking shoe. I am a slender build 187lb triathlete but found the spongy inner EVA sole to be very refreshing in comfort compared to most trainer shoes I have tried over the last 24 months. As I neared the 100 mile mark, I did notice the inner EVA sole did start to wear down more than I expected in the middle of the sole where the Hoka logo was located. It seemed to start to "wash away" in areas that were not covered by an outer rubber sole. This wear happened while running on normal paved roads. During this trial, the outer rubber sole was also wearing out mush faster than I anticipated and was showing some balding/wearing of the rubber more than I expected also. You will see many YouTubers give their review of these shoes and say that they see these as a 300-400 mile shoe (or above). I am not sure that is realistic but it may just depend on how you are using them. If you are buying these shoes as a power walker you may get that extra mileage out of them. As a primary runner trainer shoe, I don't believe that 300-400 is going to be a good number. I had given it some thought to send them back, but I like the comfort even if the durability might be in question. I was hoping for the price point, that they might last a little longer. My cousin being a recreational walker, recently purchased a pair of Rincon's and within 90 days returned them as the EVA sole on the bottom looked like they had been held on a belt sander for an extensive period of time (they had not) the EVA sole just didn't hold up.... I do recommend this shoe, but be an informed buyer.....

The sole takes some getting used to, but that happens quickly. Overall I like this shoe and aside from a desire to sample many shoes with similar claims, I would but again.

The shoes seem great, but due to foot problems for which I am seeing a podiatrist, I am unable to wear them comfortably. This is my first pair. My size for another reputable brand is a woman's 9.5 4E. The Hoka woman's shoe is too narrow, and I ordered a men's 8.5 4E as recommended by a shoe store that does not carry this size (they sent me to the internet to buy it on my own). It almost seems tight, but due to tendonitis, it's hard to tell. It's definitely not too wide.

The shoe is pleasant to walk in and soft. The only issue is, when I have on a hiking sock and liner sock, the shoe is a little tight around the toe box.

Comfortable and something one can plan to buy regularly. Need to wear thick socks since extra wide is too wide but wide is still tight for me!

They are good shoes but don't try going straight into 6 mile+ runs with them. Your feet will most definitely regret that decision. I have had a large blister for a month now. I would recommend walking around in the shoes first to break them in. One downside I found was that they get very hot, even in colder weather. Overall though these shoes are super comfy and a nice ride with the exception that they heat up and are prone to blisters.

I like the shoe however the mid-sole on both my Biondi 6 and 7's seems to be a weak point in the shoe. Wears out quickly. Also the pull tab on the back of my 6's broke after 3 weeks of wear and using it to pull them on. I no longer use the tab to pull either the 6's or 7's on. I have just received my first pair of Clifton 7's which I will review after I break them in.

My neuromas were so happy to sit inside the Bondi 7, Men's 8, 4E except I'm a 7.5 and Hoka does not make the shoe or any other shoe in Men's or Women's in 4E. I wear a custom-made orthotic, which makes matters worse. I need a low drop and this shoe fit the bill to keep me off my forefoot. Deeply disappointed. I might cry when I return them today. After trying 37 other sneakers, this is the one. But not.

I really wanted to like this shoe, and it's definitely comfortable and cushioned. However, even at a 4E wide, if felt very narrow/tight in the toe box (and I wasn't able to keep and wear it).
