I run the trails in Park City - roots, rocks, brake bumps and lots of washed out corners this dry summer. These shoes gobble it all up with aplomb.

This trail running shoe is a game changer for me. I'm in my 50s and started trail running about 1.5 years ago. I enjoy it, and try to run 2-4 times a week in fairly difficult terrain. With my other shoes, I was recently experiencing chronic and worsening knee and foot pain, to the extent that I was starting to worry that I may have to discontinue trail running. With some degree of desperation, I decided to try a pair of Hokas to see if that would help, even though I'm not a fan of the chunky aesthetic. Well, I'm pleased to report that my expectations and hopes have been surpassed - these shoes have pretty much eliminated all of my aches and pains! Are there any downsides? I would say no, not really. Of course, trail feel is reduced, but who cares? The height of the shoes may raise stability concerns, but I haven't had any issues with tripping or rolling ankles. The shoes are slightly heavier than skimpier shoes, but only slightly, and I don't think it matters for non-competition running. The tread doesn't look aggressive, but I haven't had any problems with grip on dry ground, muddy ground, gravel, or steeper grades. Aesthetically, I prefer the look of sleeker shoes, but you can't get this kind of cushioning in a sleek shoes, and I think Hoka has done a decent of job of hiding some of the size of the shoe. Going forward, this will be my default running shoe. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be able to run often or do longer runs while minimizing wear and tear on their body.

Ran 10 miles right out of the box! I have the Speedgoat 4 and love them but this shoe is special! So much cushioning and great hybrid shoe from road to trail. This is another great maximal cushioning shoe from Hoka!!! Well done!!!

This may be the eighth pair of Stinson's over many years. After a broken ankle, the Stinson was the best solution for the continuation of the nasty habit of running. Excellent cushion meshes well with older and slower. Sixty-six years old and still running twenty miles per week. That's what this shoe accomplishes.

Shoes are a problem and over the years I have purchased many different kinds and manufactures. I like Hoka and they make a number of varieties (models) for me I had to explore many models, but the "Hoka" brand is a good one and worth the effort to explore!

Shoe is the most comfortable I have ever had. Fit is good to the size chart. I have tried a bunch of different brands, but this is the best.

My normal size is 10.5 and Zappos recommended 11. I almost ignored their suggestion but then I went and took it and got the 11. The size 11 fit perfectly. 10.5 would have been too small. Shoes are great. Very plush, similar to a Bondi but with a thicker sole and a little more grippy. I use them to walk 2 miles twice a day.

Hokas are now the only athletic shoes I buy for the superior comfort, cushion, and bounce. This round of Stinsons came in much better colors for men than women, so I checked the sizing chart and ordered men's in size 7.5 instead of my usual women's 9. They fit perfectly and are totally beautiful. I'll buy more probably before I can justify the expense. Thank you!

I am on my feet 10 hours a day on a cement floor and I walk an average of 20,000 steps in a shift. These shoes are so comfortable and my feet don't hurt when I get off work. I have bad knees and they don't hurt as bad either.

I feel like im running on a cloud. Cushion is the best out of all the Hokas ive used. I have used clifton, arahi, gaviota and this is by far the best.

I love almost everything about the Stinson ATR! It has a rigid midsole that is extremely cushy, comfortable and stable. The outer sole is not extremely aggressive but is preferable in all but the most challenging terrain due to the larger surface area on the ground and the durability it brings. The regular size fits a medium to narrow foot very well.

I have been wearing the Clifton series of shoes the past few years with no negative issues. I needed a pair of Hoka's that would give me some relief for the sharp pain in my heel. It was between getting the Bondi's or the Stinson's ! I chose the Stinson's and am now able to continue with my walking regimen. It took a few days to get used to the plush heel cushioning and even though the plantar fasciitis is not completely gone the Stinson's make it bearable to take my 5 to 6 mile walks.

I've owned the Clifton and the Bondi. This is by far the best Hoka! I use it at my part-time retail job, walking on concrete for 8 hours
