Version 6 feels better than 4 and 5 and more like it did back in the day... Which I love... Toe box feels a little narrow to me but I am happy with these shoes.

I have a back injury that limits my shoe options to those with exceptional support and great stability. These shoes have both. Took them out of the box and wore them for 8 hours straight (7 of those walking/standing) no issues whatsoever.

I was blown away how soft and bouncy and comfortable the shoes are. I fell in love right at my first road run with it. Never had a shoes like this before. I will buy again next time.

I took them for short walk around the neighborhood to break them in, next day I took them for a rugged rocky trail run of 26 miles. They were comfortable and the fit was perfect a half size bigger for me. The only minor issue I felt on mile 22 was the ankle collar rubbed my ankle. Overall, best shoe I’ve used for rugged terrain.

When i felt the sole, they didn't initially feel cushiony. But once i our them on & started walking in them, i felt like i was walking on sponges. I have a bad knee, but love to walk. I walked almost 10 miles one day, on NYC streets, & not once did I feel an impact on my knee. I've walked on average 5-8 miles a day, & they feel as good on the last mile, as they did on the first block. Everyone was recommending Bondi, but my first pair, Hoka was able to determine from a picture, were Stintons. I'm a Hoka sneaker girl!
Now if you can manufacture womens shoes with the same comfort, like other sneaker mfgs have done, i can use them for office wear.

My routine is train running. Living in Arizona lends itself to some nice trails but very rocky to say the least. I was a New Balance person for years having shredded the soles. I had bought my first pair of trail Hoka One One's and this is a replacement. The longevity cannot be stated as I just received them two weeks ago, but first impression is very good. i was really surprised at how light they were without being minimalist is build. The bottom is indeed plush. they seem stable as well. I am very happy with these shoes.

Shame on Hoka for leaving other so called trail shoes in the dust or was it a dust storm. The most comfortable hiking/trail shoes I have ever experienced and I have already recommended the ATR to several people. It's simply the best. Once you get in it you will never wanna get out.

Over the COVID crisis I have tried a number of trail running shoes for hiking. I am almost 60 and have issues with my knees and back so the Hoka shoes have been a fantastic find. My fav is the Speedgoat goreTex but the Stinson is fantastic with even more cushion. Even with the huge amount of cushion it is stable with the wide tread. I hike in the woods with minor hills every day before work and use these shoes, the Speedgoat, and Altra Olympus, and sometimes the Torrent. If you have any issues with your joints this is your shoe, if not the Torrent may be your choice.

I've been wearing Stinsons for years, both the older road version and the newer ATR. Over the years, different versions of the shoe seemed to have more or less cushioning, but this year the ATR 6 seems to have the most ever. I wear them with the orange Superfeet so that the combination is extremely cushioned (and Feetures cushioned socks!). I'm 55 and weigh nearly 240 and have mild arthritis in both hips plus some partially herniated disks in my lower back. So cushioning really matters to me. I mostly run on a loose dirt carriage trail that is rocky in places, and these shoes are perfect for that surface. I also run a bit on the road, and they are very good for that, too.
I wear a 13W in some shoes, but a 14 in running shoes, and these fit very comfortable with plenty of room for my superfeet insoles (having removed the shoe's own insole).
I also appreciate the 5 mm drop from heel to toe which is better for me. Flatter shoes give me calf problems.
My only complaint is the color choices. The Bondi 7 has many more choices, including all black. I wish the Stinson ATR 6 had all black and generally more color choices. I feel like the color choices are aimed at kids, not me, but I don't think a lot of kids wear these shoes. Why not start with a few simple colors, like all black, and then add the multicolor neon designs later? FWIW, I got two pairs of the purple with the bright yellow highlights which seemed the nicest of these three color choices, but I really would prefer something else, ideally solid colors without neon stripes.

True size, true delivery timing, and true cushion shoe. If your looking a pair of shoes for running or walking on uneven surfaces and with loose stones, THIS IS THE ONE

It took a few runs to get used to the cushiness of the 'shoes. So far they hablen very comfortable. Great traction on the bottom. I wear a size 11.5 and they fit well. Snug, not loose at all.

I am 500 miles into the shoes on the continental divide trail and they are showing very little signs of where the extra cushioning has been helping my feet heal from a previous pair of shoes that caused a lot of bruising!
I love my hoka Stinson ATR 6

Love these Stinson 6! I own the mids and wanted to go give the sneakers a shot. I really wanted to get to the bondi 6 but the colors are horrendous. I bought my son the Stinson 5 and compared them both. The 6 is a lot more plush and breathable.

I run in Bondi's on the road. Site said sizing and width match Bondi so I tried these and the fit is good especially the width. Was slightly concerned about depth of tread but the tread is much deeper than looks on photos. Shock absorption as good if not better than Bondi 6. I run all single track which is Rocksylvania and roots. Very satisfied with grip on all surfaces in all weather. No snow yet so can't speak to that.
