This shoe is just perfect for me. I didn't like the cushioning of the speedgoats (felt like way too much stack height). I love a fast, responsive feel underfoot, but I don't want to feel rocks. Hoka has really delivered the perfect blend with this shoe. Its so light and so comfortable. No break-in period. I'd love to see a 3rd iteration. Highly underrated trail shoe.

Super light, super stable, super grippy. Just wish they made a shoe with a couple more mm of drop!

I bought these just for boulder Triathlons that run on hard packed trails. I always felt the slip in road shoes on those trails. I finally made the leap and bought these trail shoes. The tread is not too aggressive for the short road parts. I did prefer to run in socks in these shoes. The drop is the same as my Hoka road shoes as well.

Im 220lbs and running is not my favorite thing but so beneficial. My feet are wide and I struggle to find good looking shoes that fit well. Hoka has really come through. These shoes fit. No heel slop. Plenty wide enough. With cushion for my comfort. Love em!

I've been a cyclist competing and training for the past 10 years and decided to try trail running. I was recommended these shoes and they have surpassed my expectations and I find myself trailing running 4 days a week I enjoy it so much! I am about to buy a second pair because they just fit so well and are so lightweight that they don't feel clunky while running. I feel they've helped increased my speed and efficiency on the trails. Great shoes, they fit to size, and their lightweight feel seems only surmounted by their durability. Thumbs up Hoka

These shoes are great! Lightweight, but plenty of cushion. I have been running in them for about a year now for my trail runs and have not had any issues. They have held up surprisingly well especially given the trials are kind of rocky. Will be buying again!

Great for a variety of trail running and racing. I've been looking for a great trail shoe that wasn't too 'chuncky' and heavy like so many others tend to be. This is a great shoe for all types of trail running - light enough to use as a racer or daily trail runner and certainly has enough cushion for 50-100 mile ultras.

HOKA Torrent 2's are by far my favorite trail running shoe as they are light, fast, comfortable, and have great traction. They perform well for fast short trail runs and perfectly smooth trails. Have great mud and snow traction and work well in technical terrain. And they feel super comfortable on long all day trail runs. The drain water well and perform in every condition. I have three pairs (because you gotta have all the cool colors!) and stopped wearing every other trail shoe I have in my closet. I had and loved the Torrent 1's but they did tear in the forefoot where the shoe bends. The Torrent 2's seem to have changed the upper design and reinforced that area so I think they will be more durable and last longer. Time will tell, but I'm hopeful.

Like the previous version, the Torrent 2 is a fast trail runner with good traction and light protection. The "meta-rocker" shape of the outsole provides a faster toe-off and a noticeable difference in speed and efficiency. Even on rocky technical terrain, I've found the protection to be adequate for runs as long as 20 miles. The upper fits snuggly with a locked-in heal and plenty of toe room.

I just discovered Hokas through a friend and I've bought 4 pair. I have neuropathy in my feet and Hokas are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I love them. And they come in great colors too!
