Like many people, I have walked and run in many athletic shoes. From the moment I took my first step in the Stinson ATR 6, I was sold. They are the most comfortable and stable shoes I have ever had. They are awesome on every type of terrain. These shoes are not phased by rocks, mud, loose dirt, gravel, light snow, cement or pavement. Whatever you want to do, bring it on! The foot hugging fit, roomy toe box and incredible cushion are hands down my go to shoes. I am retiring my other ones to the back of the closet for errands.

I've always been a SpeedGoat fan and wanted to try something different. I LOVE the Stinsons. They are responding better for me on the technical trail and provide the support in all the right places.

I love this product so much, I work in the medical field 12 hr shifts so I am on my feet constantly as well I suffer from neuropathy and I have to tell you these shoes are the only ones that are incredibly comfortable and stylish as well. I have recommended it to so many of my coworkers and friends that they ended up purchasing as well. Good job HOKA (mind you I had never heard of your product before until I saw a friend sporting them out).

Perfect! Nice wide toe box and well-cushioned. They're stiffer than the Challenger or Speedgoat, so my bad toe doesn't bend. I'm in love!

I wear Hokas 100% of the time, I have really bad feet and bunions and a fat foot. Even though this did not come in a wide width, this is wide enough in the toebox to hold my foot without rubbing. This is my favorite pair of all. I have worn the Bondi, Clifton, and Alaska. All of these I ordering a wide width. Still the Stinson atr6 is the most comfortable Hoka I have worn. I now have three pairs and I’m holding two for the future.

I love Hokkas, they are the BEST for cushioning and running. However, the two Stinsons that I've gotten (ones I had to exchange--ATR 5 and now the ATR 6) seem to be a bit large. I always wear a 6.5, but had to exchange my first pair of 6.5 Stinsons for a 6.0. I am never a 6.0! Still great shoes, though and Zappos was GREAT in exchanging for me as I'd actually worn them a bit before I gave in to the idea that they were just too large. Thanks, Zappos!

I have absolutely no issue with this shoe. Even the shoelaces are long enough as opposed to some I've purchased from Hoka. I took them out for a spin today on a relatively rugged and snowy trail today. Absolutely NO issues. My feet are narrow to medium, and I was able to tighten the shoe sufficiently.

Finally a version of the original Stinson ATR that is similar in comfort. When the original Stinson ATR came out. It was my favorite shoe for many years, at least four. I've tried several of Hoka shoe since they discontinued the original Stinson ATR. None of them were compatible with my foot. Except this one is finally comfortable incompatible with my foot to where it doesn't hurt.

Sturdy and comfortable. I have plantar and need a LOT of cushion. I wish this were wider in the toe box. Otherwise a very comfortable fit. I use this for everything.

I really like these shoes but unfortunately couldn't give it five starts because the sizing was a bit off. I ordered 8.5 wide and these feel tight across the top of my feet for some reason. I have other Hoka's 8.5 wide and haven't had this problem. It is taking a little bit to break them in but I really like them. Great gripping soles and feel very stable for walking on uneven ground. I don't tie them very tight because they are tight across the top of my feet. I'm hoping as I break them in this tightness will decrease and I can tie them tighter so I don't roll over on my ankles wearing lose fitting shoes.

These are great! I tried three styles of Hokas and a couple each of asics and brooks, and this particular Hoka was the only one that accommodated my custom orthotics and appropriately still fit the whole foot in my usual tennis shoe size (10.5). In all the brooks and asics, with my orthotics, my toes were right at the end and they rubbed the top of my pinky toe.
The other two hoka styles I tried fit my feet fine overall, but after wearing around the house for awhile, they too started to rub the top of my left pinky toe.
So this was it! They’re a LARGE shoe - tall sole/heel (2 inches, I think), large footprint with a substantial profile - it’s just a *lot* of shoe. Which is fine - I needed stability for my super flat feet that overpronate and a weak ankle. These are perfect for me!

I enjoy these new shoes very much. The sole and cushioning in the foot bed are excellent. They give my foot strong lateral support, but the 8.5 seems a bit too small in the toe area. My wide toe box area is most likely the reason, and I have worn many 9's.

I liked the shoe and loved the cushion but didn't realize just how much cushion they had until I tried them on. They have too much cushion for me.

With Hokas I can enjoy regular walking, biking, and running without my feet hurting. Every step is comfortable, cushioned, and stable. The only problem that I have is that the shoes squeak. One on your customer representatives suggested that I use talcum powder and that works great. It just seems a little weird that I have to keep putting talcum powder in the shoe to stop the squeak. Still, a fabulous shoe. I also would like it if the shoes laces were one inch longer. It is hard to tie them in a double knot. Those two things are tiny compared to the fit, the wear ability, and the look. Thanks Hoka.

The Stinson ATR6 is narrower in the forefoot than the previous model Stinsons. I've been wearing Hoka's for years now, and have never had this issue before. Sadly, I had to return this years model. I'll try the wide, but typically that makes the heel too loose, so I'm not too optimistic. Overall, Hoka's are my all time favorite running shoe, so I'm sad they changed it on this latest model. I see lots of other posters have mentioned the same thing, so hopefully Hoka will take a hint and return to the previous fit in next years version.

So I really love how Hoka's feel. Felt very solid when walking like I had guard rails around my feet. However, the uppers are really low quality. We are less than a year in, walking on a dirt path everyday for about an hour, and the uppers are toast. Both at the toe and along the side they are ripping apart. Wish they did a better job on the shoe covering.

Had these about a month, and fit great. Unfortunately there is already a hole in the fabric on the top of my right shoe. Disappointing quality.

I bought these Hokas after trying them on in the Hoka store and liking the cushioned sole and wide base, which I felt would help on trailsq. I bought them in my normal size of 5.5, which fit just fine compared to size 6 which was too big.
After wearing these shoes a few times hiking, I've found they are way too tight across the toes, causing my feet to be in pain. I noticed when I wore them on a long ride they were even causing my toes to go numb! I've never needed wide shoes so don't think that's the issue. After reading many negative reviews, I've realized this is a design problem.
Unfortunately, I've passed the 30 day mark to return these shoes and are stuck with them. This is my first purchase from Hoka and it's been a very disappointing one.

I normally wear Bondi but wanted to try something different. There were supposed to have the same cushioning and support as the Bondi, but these hurt my feet something terrible. Hated sending them back, but did it anyway. Ordered Bondi again and they're wonderful!!

I'd only purchased the Tor Summit and Clifton. Both were extremely comfortable right out of the box, so it never occurred to me these would not be. I expected a cushy ride like the Clifton, but they are stiffer even than the Tor. The issue though is the fit. Much narrower toe box than the other styles and stiff upper that pressed down painfully on my instep. Worst shoe EVER!
