Very stylish. Lots of cushion and support; however, because of all the things that make them great to walk in, they do feel a little bulky.

Other than being a little big (which I make up for with an insole and thicker socks) these guys keep my arthritic foot comfortable through long walks.

I tried two pairs in different colors in my size and M width. Both are just too wide-looking, though true to Medium width, I think, in this brand. With thin legs, it looks a bit clownish on me. And yet, I really like the colors and how they feel on the feet. I could wear them all day long working as a nurse. They are not available in narrow width or I would order that.

I am a Stinson user since versions 1. In women's Stinson 5 they finally got the width right by widening some. The Stinson 6 feel a touch narrower than the 5... But still a comfortable trail running shoe. I have about 75 miles in on the new 6 and am not displeased. No hot spots or arch issues.

I purchased these hoping that the sole was stiff enough for keeping my hallux rigidus toe from bending when I do my 30 minute daily power walks. Unfortunately it just wasn’t quite stiff enough; there’s still flexibility in the toe which just doesn’t work for me. I am keeping them as a backup pair of shoes. I normally wear either a 9.5 or 10 B/medium size. In this one, my toes almost touched the end in a 9.5. But with Zappos’ wonderful return/exchange policy I was able to exchange them for a 10, which works great for size. There could be just a bit more arch support.

I previously had the stinton ATR 5 and they were perfect! My feet never hurt after my runs. I have flat feet, which gives me problems with my heels and knees but with the 5s my whole body felt amazing! I got the Stinton ATR 6's thinking they would be even better than the 5s but they seem to have less cushin than the 5s. Im having a tiny bit of pain after longer runs but I feel a little more stable while trail running. I would recommend these shoes (both 5 and 6s), especially to people with low arches, as they are better than any others I have tried on the market. I would suggest they add back the rounded cushion that was more prevalent in the 5s, though. :):)

I took these on a hike with new insoles on the first time I wore them. Bad idea...my feet were like flaming blocks of wood afterward. I changed to a different insole and tried again. All is good! Great for uneven ground and lightweight.

I love hooks ever since I tried it years ago. My favorite was the regular Stinson running shoe for women. Now that you don't make it I went to the Stinson trail shoe and will continue using it but my preference is the regular Stinson. The trail shoe is a little wide. Sure wish you hadn't stopped making the regular one!!!!

I was looking forward to the extra cushion underneath my feet but I fell off of a rock realizing the higher elevation was going to get in my way. I traded them in for a lower less cushion model and am happy with them.

These shoes are nice, very cushioned with a large toe box,I definitely appreciate those aspects on the pavement. I find that the extra cushion does not provide as much confidence on loose dirt. I can't feel where I need to place extra pressure in my steps and the higher sole makes me feel like I'm going to role my ankle when I slip. I like them and they'll work for now, but I will not purchase this design again.

The cushion/support was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately during my 5 mile test walk they started rubbing the inside of both my feet and I developed blisters. I'm wondering if they came in a wide width would it have made a difference

The back of the shoe folds in when I try to put them on. I am unable to get my foot into them without this happening. For the price these shoes should be made better.

I use it for work, I'm a dog trainer and need something for all terrains. Super good on cushion, but too wide for me.

I love this shoe! I've worn them walking the El Camino in Spain three timesBUTthe inside of the heel wears out and has a "hole" that bothers my heel.

It's taking a while to get used to the new shoes. The heel pull is a bit shorter than previous Hokusai which isn't as comfortable for me. Also the width isn't as generous. When I tried to order 6 W they said a 6 regular would be better. I now know I need to go to a store and try them on because of lack of consistency

This is stiff and heavy and gets me off balance. I’m a physical therapist and the toe off portion during normal gait is weird. Challengers are better.

Due to the curve of the front of the footbed, they feel tighter.

These were super comfortable at first. But after wearing for 2 days, I started having pain in one of my feet in the tarsal area. The pain lasted for days after wearing them. I realized that they changed my natural gait, and that was causing the foot problems. I typically wear shoes with no support and I feel like these had too much support and cushioning for me. Sadly have to return.
