Great, padded walking shoe.

I wear my Hoka shoes every day. I have 4 pair now so I am a true fan of this shoe.

This is my first pair of Hokas and initially I decided to go with the Brooks Ghost as I love them and had good road running experience with them in the past. I only run 4-6 miles at a time a few times a week - more of a casual runner than serious, for reference. Although I can't say i LOVE the design of any Hokas (however, they seem to be coming out with cooler designs by the day), these were an instant hit (in a good way) for my planter fasciitis affected right heel. I put them on for the firsts time and ran 5+ miles without any issue. In fact, they felt light as a feather, supportive and like I'd owned them for many many runs previously. They are true to size, a titch big in the 9.5 but I'd rather have extra room than have my toe hit the front of the shoe. I bought the black with white sole and gold HOKA. Looking forward to buying a second pair in 'cooler' colors come spring.

Being on my feet for 12 hours requires a good shoe and these are perfect.

Fits very true to size, roomy toe box even without getting a wide size. Comfortable and light. Cushioned but not overly plush, easy to go fast in.

lightweight but so supportive.

I've been dealing with shin splints because of under pronating during runs. Used to run in Hoka's and switched to another brand for a bit, but so happy I came back to these shoes! Only been using them for a little bit so far and already I can feel a huge difference. Great for long-distance cushioning, lots of support through the arch and sole of the foot, also nice and springy. Definitely would recommend.

My pediatrist recommended that I purchase these shoes for my feet. I have severe arthritis in both feet. In his experience his patients have found relief from wearing HOKA shoes. I was a little bothered because they are so expensive, but I have felt the difference in my feet when wearing them on a daily basis. I wish they weren't as expensive, so I could purchase more. However, for the the difference it has made in my feet, it really was worth the cost. I can go a lot longer standing and working that I can when I am not wearing them.

Comfortable. Can wear all day on a 12 hour shift walking on concrete and no pain at end of day. Color is great! My coworkers comment they are going to get the a pair.

Will be buying these over and over! So comfy, great for my knees.

In short: yes, you should buy these shoes. Yes, they cost more than a lot of other shoes. Yes, they are worth it. Let me explain: I bought these shoes after two pairs of New Balance Fresh Foam running shoes, mostly because I had recently gotten back into more serious, long-distance, everyday running, was upping my mileage pretty quickly, and was getting shin splints and stressing out my ankles as a result. Figured I could get something with a little more support and possibly avoid the much-dreaded ankle braces. Side note: the Hoka shoe finder thing is amazing. I think I went through it 7 times with slightly different entries to see how the recommendations turned out. That, plus SEVERAL "best-running-shoes-of-2020" Google searches, and I landed on the Clifton 7. I've never spent $130+tax on a pair of running shoes, or really anything that wasn't made out of black leather. For me, clicking the "Submit Purchase" button was an emotional experience. Anyways. I very much impatiently waited for the shoes to arrive, was literally getting in my car to drive to the gym when the UPS guy pulled up. I took the box, unwrapped them in the parking lot of Gold's Gym, and without hesitation swapped out the Fresh Foams for the Cliftons. no walking up and down the hallway trying to decide if I liked them. I remembered something about a Hoka return policy and threw caution to the wind. My typical workout: 4 miles running, 1 mile cool down/walking, plus non-running stuff. On day 1, there was a marked difference in how my shins and ankles felt, and I haven't worn my other shoes since. Which I feel bad about but also...these shoes are fantastic why would I not wear them? They feel great, even if you're just running errands around town. I got them in the almond milk color, which was a bold move because I'm usually not super great about keeping my feet out of puddles, but they're beautiful and I get compliments on them all of the time.

I am obsessed with these shoes they are perfect! I love the style and color but most of all they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
