These were great for the first three months then the sole detached from the shoe. I bought three different pairs o Hoka tennis shoes and two have detached. Obvious manufacturing flaw.

I love these in style but several months after wearing they started making a squeaky noise with each step.

Not as good as previous versions of Cliftons. Arch support became a real issue at higher distances, a problem I haven't had before, and didn't have after I switched to Brooks.

I own several pairs of Bondi 7. I wanted a house sneaker that was a little bit lighter. I suffer from bilateral tarsal tunnel. The tongue strap that's positioned on each side of these shoes puts a lot of pressure on the tarsal tunnel and makes my feet go numb. I've only had these shoes for about 15 minutes and already know they're not for me. I will be exchanging them for my original Bond 7s. The toe box is very narrow and I ordered a wide width. For my foot I could not run or even walk long distance, knowing I would be having black and blue toenails by the end of my session. I love the look of these shoes they're not as bulky as the bond 7 they're definitely a weight difference and very light.

These shoes are lightweight and comfortable. Definitely more on the cushiony side, I know now that I would like a more supportive shoe. The style is nice and I get asked about them all of the time. The reason I gave them three stars is because I have had them for about eight months and they already need to be replaced. I am a nurse in a busy ER and within about three months of wearing these shoes for three to four 13-14 hour shifts per week there were areas where the bottoms were already starting to detach from the shoe. Now there are many areas where the rubber is detaching. They squeak like crazy; I sound like SpongeBob when he wore his squeaky boots. They also run big. I usually wear 9.5-10 and the size 10 I purchased were on the bigger side. Going to try a different style but pretty disappointed in this pair. My Pumas held up longer and were half the price and about as comfortable.

Maybe I'm going color blind but the pair of shoes depicted looked pink online, but they were clearly orange when they arrived. This says nothing about the engineering of the shoe itself. I've just never ever seen my wife wear orange and I'm concerned she won't like it as the gift it's intended to be.

When I first got these shoes, they were the best thing I had ever slipped my feet into. However after wearing them for about 6 months or so (I'm not sure of the exact date that I got them) they're really no different that my Under Armor shoes that are half this price. I was really hoping for the price they would have been comfortable longer. Maybe I just chose the wrong style, but with them being fairly expensive (at least to me) I'm not sure that's a chance I want to take.

I kept loosing my balance in these shoes. They are comfortable though. I usually take a double wide width, they fit fine in wide.

This is my third order of Hoka Clifton. They are extremely comfortable but the back of the shoe wears out very quickly. Like clockwork, after 2 months, the cushioning on the back of the shoe wears off from slipping the shoe on and off and you are left with the hard plastic underneath. I love these shoes so much but I’m going to have to look for another brand. This is a design flaw that exists within the Clifton. Such a shame since the shoe is perfect in every other way…

Got this for work (nursing) and was so excited as so many people told me to get this. I’ve worn two days now and I’m disappointed. My legs were throbbing and my arches felt unsupported. I normally wear ultra boosts at work and have no issue.

The Hoka Clifton 7 felt a half size larger than Asics, which I have worn for years. The cushioning and upper felt very comfortable. I really like how light the shoe feels. The only other problem I had with the shoe was that the angle of the heel was too steep for my personal preference. The steepness caused my forefoot to flop to the ground instead of rolling. Also, it felt like my heel was in a hole when I was standing. I think, as a result of these last two issues, I experienced pain in the front of my ankle and the bottom of my knee cap. I would like to try these shoes again if Hoka increases the drop to 10+ and decreased the angle of the heel strike zone. Sadly, I had to return them.

Cushiony yet no real arch support which is very cringe worthy. I guess I’ll an insole in them and try that.

I was very disappointed. Made the mistake of wearing these to work and could hardly walk when leaving. I've had ankle surgery many years ago and these shoes brought the pain back.

I have the Rincon 2 as well, and I found that the Clifton made me feel like they were trying to change the way I walk. It was very odd & I didn't like that. I also didn't like the tongue in the back that seemed to come up too high. I will stick with Rincons all the way, as Clifton's weren't for me.

very hard cushioning. my previous pair was like a supportive marshmallow! this one is very, very firm. I was disappointed there was no loop at the heel. they did look nice, though. quite narrow for me.

Bought these shoes specifically for help with plantar fasciitis but they don't seem to be any better than athletic shoes that cost a fraction of the Hoka brand. My feet are thin and I sometimes wear a narrow width. So I am disappointed that these medium width shoes feel tight across the top of my foot.
