I bought these from my local running shop to wear for work as a letter carrier. I walk a minimum of 12 miles a day, and I need black leather shoes. These are greatwater resistant, roomy toe box, soft leatherBUT the metal grommets at the top were digging into the very wide tongue and stabbing the top of my foot near my ankle. I REMOVED them MYSELF with a butter knife, and it fixed the pain. A quarter inch thick piece of metal shouldn't be going into shoes that are meant for being physically active. Hopefully the grommets can be up for reconsideration.

I thought these were going to be amazing after reading the description. They were not. The ankle cuff is too high and I have a taller heal. The ball of the foot had good cushion but the heal did not. Coupled with the fact that they looked like they would not breathe at all, they were sub-par.

I love this shoe and the color. The bad part is that after using them for two days my feet started hurting. They are not made for wide feet or if your feet get swollen due to long standing periods don't get the regular, get a wide size. But I'm sad that wide wasn't available in this color. Got so many compliments. Overall, I recommend them for regular feet and loved that at the end of my 12 hour shift I wasn't feeling tired.

Bought these because I wanted a pair of Hokas that were water resistant fir rainy days and winter weather. These fit OK and perhaps they just need "breaking in," nut they aren't nearly as comfortable as my Bondi 9s. Doesn't feel like they have the same great arch support, either.

I'm a HUGE Hoka fan and have been wearing them for years at work. I'm on my feet all day and HOKA seems to be the best shoe for this. Unfortunately I bought my first pair that I absolutely hate. The Bondi SR. I usually just buy the Bondi but these caught my attention because of the non slip feature. Well, the shoe is the exact same, except for the tread which is awesome but the shoe material that your foot sits in is terrible. It's like a stiff vinyl material and I have blisters on my toes. I spent a lot of money on these and the constant pain everyday reminds me of my horrible decision to get this model.

This is my third pair (2 black and 1 lunar), the price is okay because of the comfort the shoe provides but I must say that other features need more reinforcement. The stitching always come undone and the toe flap at the front of the shoe always separates from the unit which makes the initial product defective because it's no longer waterproof. Basically they don't make the black shoe as good as the others. It's like they skip steps or something. Add a double stitch.

Insoles are not the same as the bondi 9, which i purchased a few months ago. I love them and ordered these as work shoes being they are more waterproof. I ordered the same size as my bondi 9 and these are much larger and bulky seem like the men's shoes. Also not as comfortable as the bondi 9

the only reason I am giving these shoes 3 stars is because no matter how many precautions I took, and no amount of breaking in these shoes helped with the blisters these gave me on my heels. When I wear them I walk average 17,000 steps. The cushion and support is great, but not sure if they are built for the amount of walking I need to do.

Will probably be returning these shoes. They are really big and hurt my feet. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but not looking to promising.

I had Bondi 7 for 2 years , then work said had to be polishable, bad demand for people who stand , walk and do stairs most of day, was a good shoe. Bought these to comply they are not that true to size , consider a half size up even if you have to wear socks , tight toe box on pinkie toes, and tight over foot and a much harder base after a couple of hours! Left shoe seemed smaller though My foot is a tiny bit larger I guess; no room for wiggle at all! If possible try before you buy none in my area carries them , but will order them. Shipping was good ! I do recommend though other Hokas just not this one for long hours or older feet.

I really like Hoka sneakers, but the Bondi Slip Resistant are just so ugly. Unfortunately, the leather feels and looks like plastic and the design is not as attractive as their other styles.

I tried the hoka clifton 9 for work and they are the most comfortable in the world, but they are very slippery so I decided to change for these that are non-slip but the comfort is nothing like it. They tired me a lot on my first day. We definitely didn't match.

These are more stiff than the BONDIs. I stand in place a lot at work and my feet hurt with these shoes

I have had several pairs of Hoka shoes because I love the fit and how lightweight they are but these ones are very hot. My husband threw away the box when they came in because he know how much I love the brand so I am unable to return them for something else.

I tried on Bondi 9's in store and the sales clerk told me the SR should be the same shoe, just a non slip version (the Bondi 9's felt great). They were on back order so they got shipped to my house. When they arrived they were nothing like the Bondi 9's. They are so hard and not cushy on my feet at all. They rub on the sides of my toes. I've only worn them for 3 work days and my feet are throbbing after my shift. If I wanted throbbing feet I'd just go back to my sketchers, they're $100 cheaper.

I gave this shoe a three star rating even though I had to return them because I believe in this design. The shoes looked and felt sturdy enough for the work force they're designed around. I unfortunately found that the material was too stiff around my ankle. I did try to "break it in" but my achilles tendon, superior and inferior extensors were affected due to the stiffness of the shoe. If it wasn't for the pain and discomfort I was feeling I would've loved them.

They are not as comfortable as I hoped. I've been wearing the Cliftons and most recently the Bondi 8 which prevents back pain. With these I hurt all over but maybe they just need to be broken in.

I have tried many brands of shoes for work. Don't like the mesh fabrics because hot liquid can go right through it. I bought the Hoka SR because of a reccomendation from a coworker. I wore them around the house a couple days first to slowly break them in. They felt very tight at first. I have now worn them at work (9 hour days) about 6 days. They are great fir slip resistance! My heel and bottom of feet are feeling fine but my toes are sore. I don't normally wear a wide shoe. I bought these on my regular size. (8) I feel like a wide width would cause my heel to slip. The shoes have loosened up a bit but the toe box is still a bit tight. I do have a bunion on 1 foot but both my feet hurt in the toe area. I will give them more time to relax (I sure hope they do) cause I really want these to work. For now I will switch shoes half way through the day until I can waer these for the full shift.
Fingers crossed they relax more in the toe box.

Wore these shoes a few hours in the house and so uncomfortable I bought them an 11 W and it still hurt my feet and I'm someone who's on their feet all day. I need more comfort. This is not the shoe for me.

I was so excited. I measured my foot and it said to order a 5. I did and that's what I wear in Uggs. These fit great in width but toe out. Now the return hassle. Do I order a 5.5 or 6. Will they be to wide now? Both on backorder. Frustration.

I ordered these shoes for nursing school. I tried them on and walked around alittle and they felt fine. But upon wearing them for several clinical rotations I'm so sad, the right shoe is leaving me blisters on the inner arch of my foot that's very painful. The left shoe however feels wonderful.
