I love love love my Bondi 7's, but no more being made (so sad!) so I took a chance that the Bondi SR would be as great. But they were stiff feeling and rubbed my ankles, not very cushy at all. I tried for 2 days but they were just downright uncomfortable. I want my Bondi 7's - please make them again? Why did you mess with perfection???

Restaurant biz isn't easy. These felt really heavy and tight on me after 3 hrs. They are good as non slip and water proof but comfortable you'll need to get a size bigger and insert insoles. For the price maybe there's cheaper ones that will work once adding insoles. Finding 8hts plus shift shoes is hard in general.

Needed Hokas for work that would be more durable than the cloth ones( Im a nurse in the OR). These healthcare Hokas are very rigid and very hot. Feet are sweating within minutes and still haven't broken in with weeks of use. Just uncomfortable and I had high hopes. Generally disappointed and think i'm going to switch back to the cloth type.

The SR were not for me, they are nothing like the Bondi 8. They actually bruised my foot, had to return them and stick with the Bondi or Gaviota. I wanted something that I could wear in the winter and thought the leather would work.

Purchased these for my wife to wear at work because she loves her Bondis but these aren’t as comfortable.

I was hoping these would be a great fit, but alas for a side W my toe bed is too tight and uncomfortable. Disappointed that I have to return for a more comfortable fit.

Much as Bondi8 shoes are my favorites & I wear them everyday, these just did not fit as well as the mesh ones. Obviously, leather often fits differently as that's the nature of leather vs mesh but I did have to send these back due to the arch rubbing my instep on both feet. Plus the plush is not as cushy as I am used to. I wear my Bondi 8's in a size 9.5/W everyday for my 4 mile walks on asphalt in beautiful Colonial Williamsburg, VA.

They fit me as well as other Hoka Bondis I have had in the same size. However the shoes felt too stiff around my ankles. I thought they could work to wear with slacks, but the comfort level was not high enough, nor was it for going on walks, for me.

The attachment points for the tongue of the shoe towards the toe on both sides was quite painful and caused damage. I have exchanged them for the Bondi L and am still waiting for them to arrive.

I love everything about the shoe very lightweight, optimally wide toe box, all-day comfort except for the shoelaces. They constantly come untied even when I double-knot, and they slide around throughout the day impacting the fit of the shoe. I am a fitness instructor and these shoes will come untied at least twice when I'm simply walking around in class, which is totally unacceptable for an athletic shoe. I'm hesitant to even wear for longer walks because of the frustration that they'll come untied multiple times. They look and feel awesome though, so I'm hoping the shoelaces will stay tied as they get worn in.

Very tight across the top of my foot. Trying a new lacing techniques to alleviate the tension. Remeasuring to see if I need a wide width. However, toe box and foot ball have plenty of room! I definitely have high arches. The shoes are sturdy but cushioned is not a word I use. I am considering returning them, but trying to make it work. Highly recommended by my hairdresser on her feet all day. My Plantar Fasciitis needs the support. Stay tuned.

The first pair absolutely loved them! Wore them a year and also wore them out, very comfy for months on end. so I bought another pair same brand. New pair, rather dissapointed. Not as comfortable as the first pair, and after 30 days seems like I have worn them a year. Can feel the tread in the sole with this pair.

I just received my Bondi SR. At first glance, they are very pretty, but immediately I could tell it's not a leather sneaker. Description states : water-resistant leather =( The fit is good, I do find it tight across the first eyelets for laces but hoping that they stretch.

I thought that for the price and the reviews these would be worth purchasing and trying out as I work 10 hour shifts 4-5 days a week on concrete. My feet hurt worse in these than any other shoe I've ever owned including cheap ones. So if you have high arches or plantar fasciitis these WILL NOT work.

the shoes were too narrow, even though I ordered MEDIUM. I had to use a wooden shoe stretcher for several days. I have tried on your WIDE in Bondi and it was too large. Not enough length in the shoe string

high arch support. can't wear too much pain. The arch is also slightly further back than most shoes i wear. Unbearable for myself.

As an avid Hoka collector, I was disappointed in the Bondie SR. This shoe ran shorter than my other Hokas & the leather seemed more like "pleather".

I was looking for an overall shoe to take on a trip where I know we’ll be walking a lot and could with stand weather issues. I’ve been a Hoka lover for over 10 years, but ended up returning these. They don’t have the soft comfort I’m used to.

So I'm actually replacing a pair I wore down so much and they just don't feel as good of quality as my first pair, like they're not as squishy as when I bought them a year and a half ago. Plus they were $5 more than when I bought them last. Still a hoka fan just a little disappointed because they were clouds round 1!

I am not a wide......but the toe bed on the Bondi is very wide, even for a regular. Had to return the shoes. The many colors on the bottom of the shoe felt like a clown's shoes. Had to return them. Went back to the Gaviota 4, which I am very happy with.

The shoe itself is comfy go walk in, but the top of the foot is narrow which makes for an uncomfortable fit after a couple hours. I feel like I even have a blister coming on today, which is past my 30 day mark so I can't do anything about this pair other than lose out on the almost $200 I spent. I'm going to buy another pair because I can't keep walking in these day to day. I'm choosing another style though. These are waterproof so that's cool.
