At first I really liked them. They felt great as far as gripping the ground is concerned, no slipping whatsoever. Then I notice the tops of my feet hurting when wearing any laced shoe. Thought it was my western boots. But today after wearing them shopping the pain on the top of my feet (opposite side I of my arch) really started hurting. The tongue is very thick and stiff. Glad I figured out what has caused my feet to hurt. Although I am terribly sad I spend this much money on something that is causing me so much pain.
I'd also recommend:

I bought a standard width shoe yet my foot slides all around in it even when the laces are tightened up. And it's only gotten worse w daily wear, had I realized this prior to throwing the box away I would return them. I will never purchase again for this reason. If you have a wide foot I highly recommend as they are very comfortable & light weight otherwise.

I thought this show would have the same arch support as the bondi 8, but better exterior for healthcare and\or service workers, but it doesn't. My feet immediately started hurting the way they use to before wearing my bondi 8's, which is exactly what I went back to!

Like the look and feel overall, but very stiff and tight around the ankles, and I have narrow feet. Have only worn once and I think they will loosen up with more wearing time.

Toe box and length of shoe significantly smaller than other Hoka models I wear (Graviota 5). Hard t to tell width and arch support since they were so small.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these shoes for my sister. She is a restaurant manager and is on her feet constantly. She also suffers from plantar fasciitis. She deals with a lot of pain. She has had them for 2 weeks and they are still not "broken in". She can't even wear them every day because they hurt her feet and have even caused blisters. She is optimistic about them being great shoes "in the long run" but I feel terrible that her feet are still suffering. I didn't know what I was expecting but this experience was not it. Especially since they cost almost $200.

I am on my feet for 9 hours on a concrete floor. I needed a good supportive shoe and I heard great things about these shoes. I used the shoe finder help to find the right one. I have a wide foot so I bought the wide. Maybe my foot is not as wide as I thought because I have blisters on the outside of my big toes. It must be from the shoes rubbing? Also the tongue of the shoe is pretty stiff and is pushed up against the front of my ankles which have caused a bruising. I've adjusted the tightness of the shoe strings to see if it would help but it didn't. Hopefully there is another shoe they can recommend because I do love the support for the arch and heel. It has helped my lower back some. They also clean up nicely. I am a cook and have spilled several things on them and it has wiped right off. There are good things and not so good things but I'm hoping for a better shoe fit.

My boyfriend had originally purchased a size woman's 7 regular for me. The soles themselves feel amazing and they look stylish considering they are workshoes. I am a busy hairstylist who stands all day where comfort is a must. HOWEVER, after trying for several days to "break in" the shoes I simply could not stand the throbbing pain from how incredibly tight these Bondi's are. I have never bought a wide shoe before. I'm a small girl (5'3,110lbs). I understand that the width of your foot determines whether you need a wide shoe size. I know my feet are not wide. My boyfriend decided to return the shoes, saying for about $200, these podiatrist approved shoes should not make your feet hurt even more. I was sad now, so he then ordered the Bondi SR in wide... now I am swimming in the wide Bondi's cant return them... I have to double sock just so I wont slip in them. Sadly there is no winning for these shoes. No proper in between. Either too tight or too wide! They are comfortable (sole wise) and had thought they looked cool. Now they look too big on my small self and people make fun of me. sad times

Purchased these for my son who is a chef and is on his feet all day long. He has small feet. He didn't like the shoes because the sole was to chunky. He did like that they were slip resistant.

It took over a month to receive. Once I did I tried it out but the way the shoe is made it can make my foot go numb if standing in one spot for too long. If walking for a long time the tough can hurt ankle. The sole of the shoe is good but everything I wear them my feet have to work in the shoe before they are ok to stand. They were very expensive so I expected better results.

Super disappointed in the bondi SR Immediately caused blisters on the bottom of my pinky toes and the sides of my big toe. Went a half size bigger then normal and still felt extremely narrow . I work as a server sometimes 12 hours a shift and wouldn't recommend these . I did research and thought they would be worth the almost $200 but I will be returning them as they actually made more foot pain and was uncomfortable. I own regular Hoka bondi in the same size and they are way more comfortable then these. They also do not let your feet breathe which is a must for long shifts ....

The product is too heavy. Not highly recommended for walking, standing on a 12 hour shift in healthfield.

Although they fit well and are comfortable, they are very clunky and hot, due to their construction. I purchased these but wanted Clifton L which are no longer available. I am returning and I guess I will purchase the Clifton LS even if they added the gold stuff to them. Just want a black shoe like the Clifton L which were perfect.

This is the 3rd pair of Bondi SRs I've purchased and they are not the same as the other two. I'm on my feet 12+ hours some days and these shoes use to be a godsend but now my pain level has increased in my legs, feet and lower back. I don't know if I'll order them again.

Unfortunately they are not wide like advertised so they pinch my feet a bit. The support is good though.

I purchased these for work, I'm a restaurant manager on my feet 12/ 14 hours. I love that the shoes are non slip. They have plenty of cushion. The tongue of the shoe is very stiff and cuts into the top of my ankle though, very uncomfortable after a short time.

I needed shoes for nursing school. After doing a crazy amount of research and asking around I was told to check out Hoka. I have flexible flat feet and I overpronate. It was imperative to find comfortable and supportive shoes. My legs, knees, and back all feel the effects of being on my feet all day the first day I wore them, my lower back and glutes were killing me. There is absolutely no cushion or plushness. they are HARD shoes. They also have no give in each step. I am really disappointed. The shoes are really light which is great but I am praying they break in a bit. There is ZERO support for my flat feet and over pronation. Halfway through the day, I could feel the pain in my heels. The tongue and part around my ankles also is so stiff it left a bruise on the front of my ankles. I got the regular wideness and they are still too wide.

Fit was great, comfort better than adequate for 8 hr shifts. Disappointed that, for the price, didn't hold up better: worn patches shortly after purchasing, threads splitting and rubber toe stop separating after a year. True, as a nurse these shoes get a work out, but I only wear them for work.

Only gave it a 3 as it didn't fit me well enough for comfort. Quality is good. Felt almost wide enough for my feet but it was touch material of shoe so potential bunion could have formed if I continued to use it. Good brand though will buy it a half a size higher to see if that works better

From all of the comments from people I’ve met who wear them, I expected them to be the very best most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn. This was not the case. My trusty Gravity-Defyer sneakers blow Hoka out of the water. I had to try the Hoka out, but Gravity Defyer sneakers are #1! I wish Zappos sold Gravity Defyers but they are only sold direct on their website. I do give the Hoka credit for toe room. I have a normal width foot with the exception of my toe region. Hoka has room to spread your toes without the rest of the shoe being too loose. Now if they can just match the cloud comfort of GD.
I'd also recommend:
Gravity-Defyers for sneakers, Dansko clogs, revitalign for sandals

Fit was perfect, shoe was comfortable and light-weight. Purchased for work in hospitals and had to return because they were so squeaky on my floors at home.
