I really wanted to love the HOKAs after hearing so many satisfied friends and family. But something about the back of the arch support was protruding into the back of my arch/front of my heel. Somehow the placement was a bit off for my foot. Also, the heel part was a bit too narrow for my heel, so it was pressing on both sides of my heel. On the other hand the toe box was excellent, nice and roomy which I need. The teal color was great. And the soft squishiness of the sole was a-mazing! Like I said, I really wanted it to work, but seemingly not for my feet.

I chose these shoes because of the metatarsalgia I am currently dealing with, along with a history of plantar fasciitis. Size and fit perfect for me. My ready made orthotics fit perfectly and I am able to work and get around all day without pain. The look like they’re too big for me, but I don’t care. My feet are as happy as they can be with this foot problem.

The fit is perfect! I purchased the regular width and they still have wiggle room. I stand most of the day and usually I am in pain by the end of the day. These are very comfortable, in the couple of days I have been wearing them my back and leg pain have decreased.

Wore 2x and I like somewhat for walking. Seem a bit squishy and heavy for running. The inside of shoe has something rubbing bottom of my big toe the wrong way so a little uncomfortable. I'm not hating this shoe or giving up on it after only 2 uses. Will continue to wear and see if there's comfort changes.

I was able to wear these Hokas straight out of the box for a long walk! If I could improve aything, I would have the insole with more cushion.

Shoes were too big. I know shoe sizes vary from one manufacturer to another. Which is why I ordered another pair 1/2 size smaller--however they did not come yet.......and I really need a new pair of shoes!!!!

It’s a very comfortable shoe however I have a fat foot so I should have went with wide. I’ve never had to buy wide shoes before. I guess I will now.

This is one of the few brands where I find my true size. In comparison, they have softer soles which are great on hard pavements. But, the ankles wobble more during walking (similar to when you’re balancing on one foot!) I think in the long run they will strengthen the ankle muscles while providing the cushion support. Let’s hope so as these are my first Hokas! And I haven’t heard anyone complain about ankle pain or injury with long use.

Fit and size were exactly as expected. These shoes have a good arch support so if you aren’t used to that it may be uncomfortable at first.

I have neuromas on both feet as well as tailor bunions on both. These are perfect for sensitive feet. They are very comfortable but they’re not that stylish. I probably could have gone a half size smaller but the shoes give me plenty of toebox room. I wish more neutral colors were available. I will replace the shoe strings of these to make them a little less bright. Depending on the shoe, I wear either a 7 1/2 or an 8 wide shoe. I bought the size 8 wide.

Let me just say- I really wanted to love these shoes. They are comfortable and I like the color BUT I feel like they are a bit heavier than I expected. I have a lateral tear in my hip and these seem to weigh down my leg when I am walking. I have been wearing ASICS gels recently and they are very comfortable but break down much earlier than they should. These HOKAS will last for a long time if I can get past try weight of them.

I gave these shoes 3 stars for style because I find them big and clunky. The soles are very thick and take some time getting used to if these are your first pair of Hokas. However, I do find them very supportive and feel they are well made. I would recommend this brand

Insert or foot pad was not comfortable at all, rough,sharp edges, could not tolerate. Shoe seemed slightly big and shoe was likely returned by previous customer as both shoes were already laced but laced differently.

Size was good, comfortable. Just not crazy about the color

It was the correct size but offered little arch support or metatarsal cushioning.

Thanks, Zappos for the ability to order several shoes while hunting for the most comfortable pair! Really appreciate! The Bondi 7 remains the most comfortable for my aging feet that suffer from metatarsalgia and arthritis. The cushioned sole and meta rocker allow me to continue to walk daily. Tried on different manufacturers and different styles of Hoka, but the Bondi 7 is best for me. Tried on the new Bondi 8, not the same comfort as the 7. This is my second pair of Bondi 7.

These are not the color I wanted. But, they are ok. I wanted the gray and navy which I ordered first. They were missing the sole insert so I had to send them back. Zappos makes returns easy. When I reordered, I couldn’t get the gray and navy and could only get my size in this color. I have a neuroma and a tailors bunion on both feet. These are not the most stylish but are very good for the wide toe box and cushion.
